Elizabeth Park is a northern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia in the City of Playford. It is situated to the east of Main North Road and includes Fremont Park and other open space along Adams Creek.

Elizabeth Downs is a northern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia in the City of Playford. It is east of Main North Road, bounded by Main North Road, Uley Road, Adams Road, Yorktown Road and Garlick Road. The suburb contains two government primary schools and a local shopping centre. Craigmore High School is just outside the northern boundary, and a larger shopping centre on the other side of Main North Road. It also has a tavern with bars, bistro and bottle shop.

Elizabeth North is a northern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia in the City of Playford. It is sandwiched between Main North Road to the east and the Gawler railway line to its west immediately north of Elizabeth and south of Smithfield. It is served by the Womma and Broadmeadows railway stations. It was established in the late 1950s as a residential suburb of the planned City of Elizabeth. As for its neighbours including Elizabeth and Elizabeth South, it was configured as a local community around a small shopping centre containing a supermarket, bank, hotel and service station along with other shops.

Fremont Park sits centrally in Elizabeth, Adelaide, South Australia, which is located within the City of Playford. Elizabeth has large areas of open space, with the most prominent being Fremont Park, on Main North Road. It was originally known as Town Park. The former City of Elizabeth was the sister city of Fremont, California, which Fremont Park was named after. The Fremont Park is a lush green space where you can relax, exercise and enjoy with your family. It is filled with all the recreational amenities, such as an all-ability play equipment, a gazebo, an exercise gym and two playgrounds. It also includes a large lake which has been beautified with fountains and waterfalls.

Womma railway station is located on the Gawler line. Situated in the northern Adelaide suburb of Elizabeth North, it is 27.3 kilometres (17.0 mi) from Adelaide station.

Broadmeadows railway station is located on the Gawler line. Situated on the boundary between the northern Adelaide suburbs of Davoren Park and Elizabeth North, and is located 28.2 kilometres (17.5 mi) from Adelaide station.

Hillbank is a residential suburb of the City of Playford in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. It contains such features as Jo Gapper Regional Park, Hillbank Childcare Centre, Elizabeth Pistol Club and an On The Run petrol station.

The Division of Spence is an electoral district for the Australian House of Representatives. It is located in the outer northern suburbs of Adelaide in South Australia.

The City of Elizabeth was a local government area located in the northern suburbs of Adelaide and seated at Elizabeth from 1964 to 1997.

The City of Playford Library Service is the public library service of the City of Playford which is located in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. The City of Playford Library Service consists of the branch Libraries in Elizabeth (Playford Civic Centre) and Munno Para (Stretton Centre), the Mobile and Home Library Service. As of October 2011 the Library has over 66,000 registered borrowers and a collection exceeding 107,000 items.

The Division of Bonython was an Australian Electoral Division in South Australia between 1955 and 2004. In its final configuration, it was based on the outer northern suburbs of Elizabeth, Munno Para, Parafield, Paralowie, Salisbury, Virginia, and to the town of One Tree Hill in Adelaide's outskirts. Bonython's first 14 years saw vast boundaries simultaneously cover as far north as Gawler, as far south as Magill Road at Norwood, and as far west as Ottoway. The seat would continue to cross south of Grand Junction Road until the creation of the Division of Makin at the pre-1984 redistribution.The division was named for Sir Langdon Bonython, philanthropist, publisher, and one of South Australia's federation parliamentarians. It was created as a safe Labor seat, carved mostly from the Labor-leaning portions of the neighbouring Division of Sturt, and was thus a natural choice for Sturt's Labor incumbent, Norman Makin, to transfer in 1955. Besides Makin, its most notable member was Neal Blewett, a minister in the Hawke and Keating Governments. From creation until the 1984 expansion of parliament, Bonython was Labor's second safest seat in South Australia, behind the neighbouring Division of Port Adelaide directly west of Bonython. From 1984 until 1998, Bonython was Labor's safest seat in South Australia. The Liberals only came close to winning it once, in 1966 when they managed to hold Labor to only 52 percent of the two-party vote. Bonython was abolished in 2004. Apart from the south-west area between Port Wakefield Road and Main North Road which was shifted to Port Adelaide, the majority of abolished Bonython was shifted to Wakefield in the pre-2004 redistribution, transforming Wakefield from a safe Liberal seat to a notionally marginal Labor seat as a result. Wakefield was replaced by Spence after a 2018 redistribution, on boundaries similar to those of Bonython at the time the latter was abolished.

Elizabeth is an outer northern suburb of the Adelaide metropolitan area, South Australia, 24 km north of the Adelaide city centre. It is located in the City of Playford. At the 2016 census, Elizabeth had a population of 1,024. Established in 1955, it was the seat of the former local government body, the Old City of Elizabeth, which included Elizabeth as well as the immediately adjacent suburbs on all sides except the west. Although the City of Elizabeth no longer exists, having been amalgamated into the much larger City of Playford in 1997, the term 'Elizabeth', in the context of Adelaide, typically refers to the historic municipality and the distinct community therein.
