Henry W. Smith House is a historic home located in Clay Township, Indiana. It was built in 1859, and is a two-story, brick dwelling on a fieldstone foundation. While primarily Italianate in style, the house incorporates elements of Federal, Gothic Revival, and Greek Revival styles. It has a steep cross-gable and features a front porch with Tuscan order columns.: 2–3 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Alto was an unincorporated town which is now a neighborhood of Kokomo in Harrison Township, Howard County, Indiana, United States. It is part of the Kokomo, Indiana Metropolitan Statistical Area. Alto (along with nearby subdivision, Holiday Park and CDP, Indian Heights) was annexed into the city of Kokomo January 1, 2012.

WZWZ (92.5 FM) is a radio station owned by Hoosier AM/FM LLC in Kokomo, Indiana. The station is located on the south side of Kokomo, Indiana on Indiana State Road 26, just east of Indiana State Road 931.

Kokomo High School (merged with Haworth High School in 1984) is a four-year public high school in Kokomo, Indiana, USA. The school is the only high school in the Kokomo School Corporation.

Northwestern High School is a public high school located approximately 4.5 miles northwest of the city limits of Kokomo, Indiana, United States. The building houses grades 9–12 and also functions as the primary athletic building.

Clay Township is one of eleven townships in Howard County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 4,036, up from 3,885 in 2010. This township also contains a small portion of Kokomo. The population of the Kokomo portion, however, is zero.

Prairie Township is one of six townships in Tipton County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 1,061 (down from 1,140 at 2010) and it contained 456 housing units.

The Continental Steel Corporation was United States steel producer from 1927 until 1986. The company was created on June 21, 1927, through the merger of the Kokomo Steel and Wire Company (founded in Kokomo, Indiana, in 1901) with the Superior Sheet Steel Company of Canton, Ohio, and the Chapman Price Steel Company of Indianapolis. Among the original eleven directors was John E. Fredrick, who had been an organizer of the Kokomo Fence Machine Company in 1896 and had served on the board of directors of the Kokomo Steel and Wire Company. Fredrick served as first Chairman of the Board of Continental Steel, whose headquarters were established in Kokomo. The Kokomo operations of this corporation, however, continued to employ the Kokomo Steel and Wire name until 1944. Continental Steel was dissolved in 1986, due to bankruptcy.

Kokomo Country Club is a private country club in Kokomo, Indiana. The club was established on June 13, 1904, to provide a course for local golf enthusiasts. The course was the home course of Indiana Golf Hall of Fame Member Robert Resner.The course was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 20, 2006.
