Grave Creek is a tributary, about 40 miles (64 km) long, of the Rogue River in southwestern Oregon in the United States.

The Rand Ranger Station is a Bureau of Land Management compound consisting of eight historic buildings located in the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest in southwest Oregon. It was built by the United States Forest Service and the Civilian Conservation Corps as a district ranger station for the Galice Ranger District. The ranger station property was transferred to the Bureau of Land Management in 1970. Today, the ranger station office serves as a visitor center. The Rand Ranger Station is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Galice is an unincorporated community in Josephine County in southern Oregon, United States. It is at the eastern end of Bear Camp Road.

Carpenters Island is an island in the Rogue River in the U.S. state of Oregon about one mile upstream from Galice. It is named for Francis A. "Frank" Carpenter, a native of Illinois who settled there in the early 1900s. The Bureau of Land Management maintains a small boat landing nearby called Carpenters Island Park. Some maps identify the island as Carpenter Island, but the U.S. Board on Geographic Names has officially approved "Carpenters Island."

Indian Mary Park is part of the Josephine County Parks system in the U.S. state of Oregon. Bordering the Rogue River, the 61-acre (25 ha) park is along Merlin–Galice Road, about 16 miles (26 km) northwest of the city of Grants Pass. The heavily used park is the county's most popular in summer.The park was named for Mary Peters, who was known as "Indian Mary". Amenities include a boat ramp, a public pay telephone, a disc golf course, and three restrooms, including two with showers. Campsites include places for tents and sites with utility hook-ups for travel trailers, as well as two five-person yurts provided with furniture, electricity, lighting, and heat. The park's entrance station has ice, firewood, and other items, and provides information. Registered campers have access to the park's dump station. The boat ramp, about 250 yards (230 m) downstream of an older one that entered relatively swift water and was not always usable, opened in August 2010.Sites may be reserved two days to nine months in advance. The county publishes a fee schedule for various kinds of camping and other uses of the park. Non-campers are generally charged a $2 day-use fee for parking. Annual passes are available, and people entering the park on foot, by bicycle, or on a horse do not have to pay the parking fee.

Leland is an unincorporated community in Josephine County, Oregon, United States. It lies in the Klamath Mountains along Grave Creek, a tributary of the Rogue River.A post office was established in 1855 and McDonough Harkness was its first postmaster. A railroad was also built in the area and the station of Altamont, with a post office founded by Ben Parker that operated from 1884 to 1886. Altamont then became Leland in 1888, and Leland's post office was moved to the station, where it closed in 1943.

Wolf Creek Inn State Heritage Site is a state park in the U.S. state of Oregon, administered by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department.

Wolf Creek is an unincorporated community in Josephine County, Oregon, United States, just off Interstate 5. There are a number of creeks in Oregon named Wolf Creek, after the wolves that were once abundant in the state. Wolf Creek post office was established 1882, while a railroad station called "Almaden" was located in the same place in 1883. The station was renamed to match the post office in 1888, and in 1895 the post office was renamed to "Wolfcreek" until 1951. The pioneer-era "Six Bit House" was an inn located on the Applegate Trail that passed through the Wolf Creek area long before it had a post office. The original Six Bit House was probably built in 1853, near a hairpin turn of the Southern Pacific Railroad. The inn went through several incarnations until the present Wolf Creek Tavern was built in about 1883. The site, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is now run by the Oregon State Parks and Recreation Department as the Wolf Creek Inn State Heritage Site and is the oldest continuously operating hotel in the state.

Hugo Community Baptist Church is a church and historic church building located in the rural community of Hugo, near Grants Pass, Oregon, United States.The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
