Galleria Shopping Centre (formerly known as Westfield Galleria, Centro Galleria and Galleria) is a shopping centre located in Morley, about 8 kilometres (5 mi) northeast of the Perth central business district. It is the 5th largest shopping centre in Western Australia, with several major retailers and approximately 300 specialty retailers. The shopping centre consists of major retailers including Woolworths, Coles. Kmart, Aldi, Target, Rebel Sports, Myer, Event Cinemas and facilities including toilets, restrooms, info desk, lost and found, wheelchair hire, payphones, recycling stations, Uber and Taxi bays. The present centre was constructed in stages between 1988 with Coles and Kmart Australia, and in 1994 with Event Cinemas and Myer. In 2008 a new area on level 2 was constructed for Rebel Sports. Revised plans for the $350 million Morley Galleria shopping centre expansion were approved on 11 February 2019 – though some elements of the development are not expected to be completed until 2031. The redevelopment will expand the shopping centre floor area from 73,365 square metres (789,690 sq ft) to 180,235 square metres (1,940,030 sq ft) with the number of car bays rising from 4086 to 7200. The centre could ultimately end up with as much as 263,500 square metres (2,836,000 sq ft) of floor space.

Bedford is a suburb 6 kilometres (4 mi) north-east of the central business district (CBD) of Perth, the capital of Western Australia. Named after Frederick Bedford, the Governor of Western Australia from 1903 to 1909, the suburb is within the City of Bayswater local government area. It is predominantly a low density residential suburb consisting of single-family detached homes, with clusters of commercial buildings along Beaufort Street, Grand Promenade and Walter Road. Before European settlement, the area was inhabited by the Mooro group of the Whadjuk Noongar people. The first major developments for the suburb occurred in the 1920s, when the extension of Beaufort Street and its associated tram service into the area triggered housing construction. Bedford Park was gazetted as a townsite in 1937, and major growth occurred following World War II, due to developments by the State Housing Commission. Today, Bedford is fully suburbanised. Major roads that travel through or along the edge of the suburb are Beaufort Street, Coode Street, Grand Promenade and Walter Road. Major parks include Beaufort Park, RA Cook Reserve and Grand Promenade Reserve, which are used for various sports including Australian rules football, cricket and soccer.

Chisholm Catholic College is a Private Catholic high school situated approximately 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) northeast of the Central Business District of Perth, Western Australia in the suburb of Bedford. The College provides education for approximately 2,021 students. Chisholm Catholic College was established in 1989 as a result of the amalgamation of St Mark's College, Bedford, conducted by the Christian Brothers, and St Thomas Aquinas College, Inglewood, conducted by the Dominican Sisters. From 1989 to 2002, the College had two campuses. The senior students were taught at the original St Thomas Aquinas College site in Wood Street and the junior students were taught at the St Mark's college site in Beaufort Street. In 2003 the College merged onto one site at Beaufort Street The College is owned by the Catholic Archdiocese of Perth in the person of the Archbishop of Perth. With the other Western Australian Bishops, he has authorised the Catholic Education Commission to determine major policy and to appoint a College Board responsible for the financial administration. The Principal, also appointed by the Archbishop, is accountable to the Director of Catholic Education for the educational administration of the College.

Morley is a suburb of Perth, within the City of Bayswater local government area, situated approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) northeast of the Perth central business district. It contains the Galleria Shopping Centre, one of Perth's larger shopping centres. Morley bus station is located in the car park of the shopping centre. From the late 1950s, Morley (originally known as Morley Park) began to develop as a major shopping and commercial centre.The name Morley began appearing on maps around the beginning of the twentieth century and was adopted when the Morley Park Estate was subdivided for urban development after the First World War. The most likely explanation for its use is that it commemorates Charles William Morley, who is known to have farmed in the area during the 1860s and 1870s.

Grand Promenade is a 5-kilometre main road in the inner north-eastern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia, linking Dianella in the north, with Bayswater in the south. It forms the northern section of State Route 55 connecting with Railway Parade, which it joins onto at its southern terminus.

Morley railway station is a bus and railway station under construction as part of the Metronet Morley–Ellenbrook Line, serving the Perth suburbs of Bayswater, Embleton and Morley. It is to be built in the median strip of Tonkin Highway at Broun Avenue.

Inglewood is an inner-city suburb of Perth, Western Australia, 4 kilometres (2 mi) north-east of its central business district. It is located within the local government area of the City of Stirling.

The Bayswater Subway (or Bayswater Bridge) is a road under rail subway near Bayswater railway station in Perth, Western Australia with a low clearance of 3.8 metres (12 ft). It has become well known in Perth and has received significant media coverage for being frequently struck by tall vehicles.The bridge was first proposed in 1898, but was not constructed until 1910, opening on February 14 of that year. The bridge was torn down in May 1969, due to its two lane width not being enough, and it was rebuilt with four lanes underneath. Bayswater railway station was rebuilt at the same time as an island platform as part of the conversion of the Midland line from narrow gauge to dual gauge.: 268–269 In September 2014, flashing low clearance signs were put on the bridge. In May 2019, one of the low clearance signs fell off the bridge, landing on a vehicle and breaking its windscreen. Between when the Public Transport Authority started counting in 2014 and May 2019, the Bayswater Subway was struck by 36 vehicles.By the end of 2022, the bridge will be replaced by a 4.8-metre-high (16 ft) bridge as part of the rebuild of Bayswater railway station.Despite being the best-known bridge in Perth for being hit, the Bayswater Subway is not the lowest road-under-rail bridge in Perth. The Sutherland Street bridge, in West Perth has a clearance of 3.7 metres (12 ft), and the Seventh Avenue Bridge, in Maylands had a clearance of 3.3 metres (11 ft) before it was rebuilt.It is different from the historic railway bridge over the Swan River that existed between 1897 and 1957, which at times had been referred to as the "Bayswater Bridge".
