Elizabeth McCafferty Three-Decker

The Adriatic Mills was a historic industrial complex on Armory Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. In 1854 Eli Thayer (best known for his abolitionist activities) constructed a stone industrial building known as the Lower Junction Shop, He constructed the mill with stone chips taken from Oread Hill in Worcester. The fine stone was mixed with a mortar forming a concrete. Wooden frames were mounted and the concrete was poured in and allowed to harden - no masonry being employed in raising the walls. The original building was 400 ft long. 40 ft wide and 2 stories high. Mr. Thayer then sold his interest in the building to Charles White and J.P. Southgate. Afterwards, it came into possession of Benjamin F. Joslyn, an arms manufacturer. He manufactured the Joslyn rifle, the first breech-loading rifle, on these premises before selling them in 1863 to the Jordan Marsh Company. Jordan Marsh expanded and repurposed the premises for the production of textiles, and gave the complex the name "Adriatic Mills". It continued to be used for textile production into the 1920s.The complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, at which time it was being used as a foundry by the Chromalloy Corporation. It has since been demolished (c. 2009) to make way for redevelopment.

The Ellen M. Smith Three-Decker was a historic triple decker house in Worcester, Massachusetts. Built in 1908, it was described as one of the best preserved Queen Anne triple deckers in Worcester University Park area when it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It was also one of the last to be built in the area, part of a group built to house workers in the business growing along the nearby rail corridor. It was thought to be demolished, but was actually relocated and re-modeled near-by.

The Albert Ridyard Three-Decker is a historic triple decker in Worcester, Massachusetts. Built in 1914, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990 for its exterior Colonial Revival styling, most of which has since been removed or covered over (see photo).

The James Schofield House is a historic Second Empire house at 3 Mt. Pleasant Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. It was built sometime before 1860, making it an early example of the style. It is a basically square structure, 2.5 stories high. At the time of its listing on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, it featured an entry porch with turned pillars, and quoins on the corners of the house, but these have been removed or covered over by subsequent replacement of the siding (see photo).

The Elliot Smith House was a historic house located at 839 Main Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 5, 1980. It was demolished in 1982.

The Worcester Corset Company Factory is an historic factory building at 30 Wyman Street in Worcester, Massachusetts in the Main South neighborhood. The oldest part of the factory was built in 1895, with expansion of the facilities taking place up to 1909. The buildings were designed by Arthur F. Gray for the Worcester Corset Company, whose origins date to an 1861 business by David Hale Fanning making hoops for skirts, but shifted to manufacturing corsets after fashions changed. Fanning's business was immensely successful, and he became one of Worcester's larger employers. At one point it employed over 2000 women. After the Corset Company folded in 1940, the facility was used to manufacture military-style boots. The factory is now an apartment complex.The factory was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The South Unitarian Church is an historic church building at 888 Main Street in the Main South neighborhood of Worcester, Massachusetts. The Romanesque Revival building was designed by Earle & Fisher and was built by the Norcross Brothers in 1894 for the South Unitarian Society, established in 1890. The building is made of sandstone blocks, laid in courses alternating in width. The front (eastern) facade features a high pitched gable, with two rows of three windows, then a pair of windows topped by a large half-round window To the right is the church entrance, a smaller projecting gable section with a doorway recessed in a round archway, topped by three smaller windows. To the rear behind the entrance is a square tower with a partial half-round side tower.On March 5, 1980, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places as South Unitarian. At the time of its listing it housed an Armenian Apostolic congregation; it presently houses a Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Congregation.

The Lucius Knowles House is a historic house located at 838 Main Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. It is locally significant as one of the city's best preserved Second Empire style buildings.

Pilgrim Congregational Church is a historic Congregational church building at 909 Main Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. The brick Romanesque Revival building was constructed in 1887 to a design by local architect Stephen Earle. The buildings windows and other details are trimmed in sandstone, and a tower with projecting rounded corners rises from one corner. It features an open belfry with round-arch openings and is capped by a steeply pitched roof, with decorative finials at the corners.The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The John Legg House is a historic house at 5 Claremont Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. The Queen Anne style house was built in 1892 to a design by noted local architect Stephen Earle for John Legg, owner of the Worcester Woolens Company, one of the city's largest textile businesses. It is a 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame with an asymmetrical plan. One unusual feature is a first floor bay on the right side which is topped by a parapet. The center and left side of the house are sheltered by a porch, with a decorated gable end over the stairs.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. Since the listing, some of the exterior features have been lost due to a later residing of the house.

The Hammond Organ Reed Factory is a historic former factory building at 9 May Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. Built in 1868 and enlarged in 1886, it is one of the city's few surviving Second Empire factory buildings. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. In 2007–2009, the building was restored and converted for use as affordable housing.

St. Matthew's Episcopal Church is an historic stone Episcopal church building located at 693 Southbridge Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. Designed by Stephen Earle of Earle and Fisher in the Gothic Revival style of architecture with some Romanesque details, it was built in 1894 by the Norcross Brothers. Construction of the church was funded in part by Matthew Whittall, proprietor of the Whittall Mills. It was the first Episcopal church in Worcester.On March 5, 1980, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places as St. Matthews.
