The Beaver Street Historic District is a residential historic district in the Main South part of Worcester, Massachusetts. It encompasses a collection of five well preserved Colonial Revival triple-deckers located at 31-39 Beaver Street, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

St. Mark's Episcopal Church is an historic Episcopal church building at Zero Freeland Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. The Romanesque Revival stone building was designed by local architect Stephen C. Earle, and built in 1888 for a congregation established the preceding year. On March 5, 1980, the church building was added to the National Register of Historic Places as St. Marks. The current priest is the Rev. Robert Carroll Walters.

Clark University is a private research university in Worcester, Massachusetts. Founded in 1887 with a large endowment from its namesake Jonas Gilman Clark, a prominent businessman, Clark was one of the first modern research universities in the United States. Originally an all-graduate institution, Clark's first undergraduates entered in 1902 and women were first enrolled in 1942.The university now offers 46 majors, minors, and concentrations in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and engineering and allows students to design specialized majors and engage in pre-professional programs. It is noted for its programs in the fields of psychology, geography, physics, biology, and entrepreneurship and is a member of the Higher Education Consortium of Central Massachusetts which enables students to cross-register to attend courses at other area institutions including Worcester Polytechnic Institute and the College of the Holy Cross. As a liberal arts–based research university, Clark makes substantial research opportunities available to its students, notably at the undergraduate level through LEEP project funding, yet is also respected for its intimate environment as the second smallest university counted among the top 66 national universities by U.S. News & World Report and as one of 40 Colleges That Change Lives. It is classified among "R2: Doctoral Universities – High research activity". It was a founding member of the Association of American Universities, but departed in 1999. Graduate and professional programs are offered through the Graduate School, the Graduate School of Management, the Graduate School of Geography, the Frances L. Hiatt School of Psychology, the Gustaf H. Carlson School of Chemistry, the Adam Institute for Urban Teaching and School Practice, the International Development, Community and Environment (IDCE), and the School of Professional Studies, and the Strassler Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies.The university competes intercollegiately in 17 NCAA Division III varsity sports as the Clark Cougars and is a part of the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference. Intramural and club sports are also offered in a wide range of activities.Clark faculty and alumni have founded numerous companies and organizations, including Panera Bread, the American Psychological Association, and the American Physical Society, and have played leading roles in the development of modern rocketry, the wind chill factor, and the birth control pill. The university is also the alma mater of at least three living billionaires, in addition to its alumni having won three Pulitzer Prizes, multiple Suey Awards, and an Emmy Award.

The Robert H. Goddard Library is the primary library of Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, United States. The library was named after rocketeer Robert H. Goddard, who earned a M.A. and Ph.D. at Clark in the 1910s. The building was built in 1969 and remodeled in 2009. The brick and concrete building was designed by architect John M. Johansen in the Brutalist style.

The former Downing Street School, now the Traina Center for the Arts of Clark University, is a historic school building at 92 Downing Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. Built in 1891 to a design by Boston-based architect William Forbush, it is a high-quality local example of Romanesque Revival architecture. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The Freeland Street School, now the University Park Campus School, is a historic school at 12 Freeland Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. It is a 2+1⁄2-story brick building built in 1885 during a period of significant growth in the city. The front and back of the building have slightly projecting gabled sections that house the buildings entries and stairwells. The exterior of the building is trimmed in sandstone, with some decorative terracotta panels. The roof his hipped, and the projecting sections are flanked by small hip-roofed dormers.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. The school is now known as the University Park Campus School, and is still administered by the Worcester school district.

The University Park Campus School is a public school in the Main South neighborhood of Worcester, Massachusetts, United States. It educates 239 students in grades 7–12 as of 2017–18. Opened in 1997, the school is operated by a partnership between nearby Clark University and Worcester Public Schools. In March 2010, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick visited the school to promote educational reform.

The Harry B. Ingraham Three-Decker is a historic triple decker house in Worcester, Massachusetts. It was built c. 1892 for Harry B. Ingraham, an absentee owner based in Boston. When listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990, the building was specially noted for its fine Queen Anne styling, but much of this has been lost due to later exterior refinishing (see photo from 2012). The porches on the front were supported by narrow turned posts with decorative brackets, and third floor porch had a Stick Style frieze across its top. The house was sheathed in wood clapboard, although there were bands of cut shingles providing a decorative touch. The house has since been sided in synthetic sided, and its upper porch details have been replaced by simpler designs. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

The John B. McDermott Three-Decker is a historic triple decker in Worcester, Massachusetts. Built c. 1910, it is distinctive for its preservation, and the scale and profusion of its Colonial Revival details. It has a typical side hall plan with a side bay, and a hip roof that is unusual for the presence of pedimented gable sections. The cornice of the roofline is decorated with evenly spaced heavy brackets. The front entry is highlighted by a two-story gable-end pedimented porch, of which the first floor section wraps around to the right side of the building. The porch is supported by slender round columns, and its roof has bracketing similar to that of the main roof.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

The Crystal Street Historic District is a group of three triple deckers facing University Park in the Main South area of Worcester, Massachusetts. The houses appear to have been built for developer James Harrop, who lived at 30 Crystal Street and owned them for 35 years. At the time of their construction circa 1892, Harrop is described in city directories as a wool sorter, but, over the following years, he became a real estate developer. The houses were built at a time when the area was experiencing significant development due to the extensions of the electrified street cars to the area. Early residents of the buildings would have been skilled laborers and middle-class white collar workers.The three buildings are all well-preserved examples of Queen Anne triple deckers, and they are almost identical in their construction. They follow the standard side hall plan and have a jog on one side. The main facade is three bays wide, but asymmetrical: the bay on one side has the entry covered by a simple gable-roofed porch, and the bay at the opposite end is rounded with a conical roof. The porch on 30 Crystal Street has retained turned porch columns, while those of 32 and 34 have been replaced with square posts.All three buildings have similar exterior finishes. They are clad in clapboards, except for the rounded section, which is sheathed in decorative cut wood shingles. These shingles are also used in banding portions separating the second and third floors.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

St. Peter's Catholic Church is a historic church building at 935 Main Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. Built-in 1884, the church is one of the city's finest and most ornate examples of Gothic Revival architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It is home to an active parish in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Worcester.

University Park, also called Crystal Park, is a public park in the Main South neighborhood of Worcester, Massachusetts. The 13-acre (53,000 m2) park was acquired by the city from 1887 to 1889, costing nearly 62,000 dollars. It is located across Main Street from Clark University, thus the name. University Park Campus School, a local nearby public high school founded with help from Clark, is named after the park. On September 20, 2010, Clark University announced a "20-year voluntary Payment in Lieu of Taxes agreement" with the City of Worcester, with some of the funds going directly to improvements in University Park. On March 24, 2011, the $1.5 million park redevelopment project was formally announced, and residents were informed that there would be a several-month-long community engagement and participatory planning process.
