Val di Taro

The Ceno is a 63-kilometre (39 mi) tributary of the river Taro, flowing entirely within the Province of Parma, northern Italy. It joins the Taro on its left bank at Fornovo. Like the Taro, the Ceno has its source on Monte Penna, in the Ligurian Apennine, though it rises on the opposite side of the mountain to the Taro. The Ceno's average final volume is approximately half that of the Taro, but can vary substantially depending on the season. Its discharge occasionally exceeds 1,000 cubic metres per second (35,000 cu ft/s). The Ceno is near Bardi.

Santa Maria Assunta a Fornovo is a Romanesque-style, Roman Catholic parish church or pieve located in Fornovo di Taro in the region of Emilia Romagna, Italy.

Dallara Group S.r.l. is an Italian multinational manufacturer of racing cars. Founded in 1972 by Giampaolo Dallara, Dallara is the sole manufacturer of racing cars for the IndyCar Series, Indy NXT, FIA Formula 2, FIA Formula 3 and Super Formula Championships. The company also produces cars for endurance races such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 24 Hours of Daytona. Dallara has also been involved in the development and production of both Formula E cars and Haas F1 Team cars. It is headquartered in Varano, Italy, near the Varano race track.

Autodromo Riccardo Paletti is a race track for motorsports near Varano in the Province of Parma, Italy, about 30 km (19 mi) southwest of Parma. The track began as a small 0.550 km (0.342 mi) oval in 1969, and this was then expanded to a full 1.800 km (1.118 mi), 11-turn race track. This new layout was inaugurated officially on 26 March 1972. The track is named after Formula One driver Riccardo Paletti (1958–1982), who was killed at the 1982 Canadian Grand Prix. In 2001 the layout was extended to a length of 2.375 km (1.476 mi). However, the layout length was decreased to 2.360 km (1.466 mi) in 2010, then 2.350 km (1.460 mi) in 2011. Among the track's co-founders was engineer Giampaolo Dallara, who later established Dallara in Varano.

Terenzo (Parmigiano: Tréns) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Parma in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) west of Bologna and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southwest of Parma. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,250 and an area of 72.4 square kilometres (28.0 mi2). The municipality of Terenzo contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bardone, Boschi di Bardone, Case Castellani, Cassio, Castello, Castello di Casola, Cazzola, Corniana, Goiano, Lesignano Palmia, Lughero, Palmia, Puilio, Selva Grossa, Stazione Bocchetto, Villa, Casola, and Viola. At the foot of Monte Zirone, is the slender former church or Pieve di San Michele di Corniana, dedicate to St Michael Archangel. Also nearby is the Pieve di Bardone, completed prior to 13th-century. Terenzo borders the following municipalities: Berceto, Calestano, Fornovo di Taro, Sala Baganza, Solignano.

Varano de' Melegari (Parmigiano: Varàn di Melgär) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Parma in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 110 kilometres (68 mi) west of Bologna and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southwest of Parma. The town is home to a medieval castle (Castello Pallavicino), a motorsport circuit, the Autodromo Riccardo Paletti, and the headquarters of racecar manufacturer Dallara. Also notable is the 7th century octagonal baptistery in the frazione of Serravalle Ceno, located on the Ceno River. Near the town is located the Mount Prinzera, 724 meters high, it is a regional natural park along the Via Francigena, mainly formed by rocks of ophiolite origin.

Medesano (Parmigiano: Medzàn) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Parma in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) northwest of Bologna and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) southwest of Parma. As of 31 May 2007, it had a population of 10,221 and an area of 88.8 square kilometres (34.3 mi2). The municipality of Medesano contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Arduini, Ca'Bernini, Ca'Dordone, Ca'Rettori, Casa di Cura, Case Caselli, Case Faggi, Casa Matteo, Cavicchiolo, Divisione Julia, Felegara, Ferrari, Il Novellino, La Carnevala, Mezzadri, Pianezza, Ramiola, Roccalanzona, Sant'Andrea Bagni, Troilo, and Varano Marchesi. Medesano borders the following municipalities: Collecchio, Fidenza, Fornovo di Taro, Noceto, Pellegrino Parmense, Salsomaggiore Terme, Varano de' Melegari.

Calestano borders the following municipalities: Berceto, Corniglio, Felino, Langhirano, Sala Baganza, Terenzo.

The Museum of Pasta (in Italian Museo della pasta) is an Italian ethnographic museum dedicated to pasta. It is located in Corte di Giarola, between Collecchio and Ozzano Taro, in the Province of Parma, a region historically dedicated to the production and processing of pasta. The museum shares space with the Museum of Tomato (in Italian Museo del pomodoro).

San Vitale is a Roman Catholic parish church located in the San Vitale neighborhood of Sala Baganza, region of Emilia-Romagna, Italy. The Neoclassical church houses altarpieces by Giuseppe Peroni, including a Madonna between Santi Gregorio and Vitale. A small parish church at the site is first mentioned by the year 1005. By 1142, the church and the nearby castle and hamlet belonged to the Abbey of San Giovanni Evangelista of Parma. In the 18th century, a bell-tower was erected, but this and the church were partially ruined by an earthquake on 14 February 1834. The church was rebuilt using designs of Lorenzo Raschi, with work completed by 1841. The facade was designed by Luigi Bianchi, and completed in 1868. The facade statuary, attributed to Agostino Ferrarini, was added in 1885. On 23 December 2008, an earthquake again damaged the building, and restructuring and restoration was completed in 2012.

Tabiano Castle (Italian: Castello di Tabiano) is a medieval manor house in the small district of Tabiano Castello, belonging to the municipality of Salsomaggiore Terme, in the province of Parma.
