Cloughmills or Cloghmills ( klokh-MILZ) is a village in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Ballymoney is 9 miles to the north-west and Ballymena is 10 miles to the south. It had a population of 1,309 people in the 2011 Census. It is in Causeway Coast and Glens District Council.

Loughguile ( lokh-GEEL; from Irish Loch gCaol, meaning 'lake of the narrow'), also spelt Loughgiel, is a village and civil parish in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Situated 8 miles east of Ballymoney it is within the Causeway Coast and Glens Council area, and is at the edge of the Glens of Antrim. It had a population of 396 people (128 households) in the 2011 Census.

Corkey or Corky is a small village in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Located 11 miles east of Ballymoney, it is within the Ballymoney Borough Council area, and is at the edge of the Glens of Antrim. The villages of Loughguile and Cloughmills are nearby. It had a population of 202 people (59 households) in the 2011 Census. The Scottish renewable energy company Scottish Power Renewables operate a ten-windmill wind farm in Corkey. The wind farm is on Slievenahanagh mountain. Local company W & J Taggart own and run Corkey quarry, supplying stones to local building contractors. Altnahinch Dam and Slieveanorra Forest are outside Corkey. The local school is St Anne's Primary School.

Newtowncrommelin (Irish: Baile Nua Chromlain) is a small village and civil parish in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It lies 8 miles north-northeast of Ballymena and is in the Mid and East Antrim Borough Council area. The village of Newtowncrommelin was founded in the townland of Skerry (from Irish An Sceire, meaning 'rocky hill') (now the townlands of Skerry West and Skerry East). Ballymena, Cargan and Martinstown can be viewed from atop Skerry Rock, which is accessible through private land, alongside the back of the Skerry Inn. Most of the housing developments are situated along the Skerry East, Skerry West, Windy Gap, Tullykittagh and Old Cushendun Roads.

Cross Roads railway station was on the Ballymena, Cushendall and Red Bay Railway which ran from Ballymena to Retreat in County Antrim, Northern Ireland.

Cargan (from Irish an Carraigín, meaning 'the small rock') is a hamlet and townland in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It lies at the foot of Slievenanee in Glenravel – locally known as "The Tenth Glen" along with the more widely known nine Glens of Antrim. It is part of Mid and East Antrim district. It had a population of 588 people (223 households) in the 2011 Census. (2001 Census: 411 people)

Martinstown (Irish: Baile Uí Mháirtín) is a small village in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Located 6 miles from Ballymena, it is situated in Glenravel, locally known as "The Tenth Glen", alongside the widely known nine Glens of Antrim. It lies within the Mid and East Antrim Borough Council area. It had a population of 345 people (108 households) in the 2011 Census. (2001 Census: 285 people) On 19 May 1922, the Irish Republican Army attacked Martinstown Royal Irish Constabulary barracks with gunfire and grenades, sparking a battle. They also ambushed a group of reinforcements, killing a Special Constable.

Knockanally railway station, later known as Martinstown railway station was on the Ballymena, Cushendall and Red Bay Railway which ran from Ballymena to Retreat in County Antrim, Northern Ireland.

Clogh, also spelt as Clough (from Irish An Chloch 'the stone'), is a small village in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, 9 miles from Ballymena. It is situated within the Glenravel ward of the Braid electoral area of Mid and East Antrim District Council. It had a population of 220 people (90 households) in the 2011 Census. (2001 Census: 105 people) Dunaghy Old Rectory, on the main street, is one of the village's most striking buildings. There are three churches in the vicinity. St. James Dunaghy Parish Church of Ireland is situated at the fork junction at the bottom of the main street. The Gospel Hall is located on main street. While the large Presbyterian Church is situated just outside the village. The village's community centre is housed in a building that was originally Clough Baptist Church at the top of the Main Street. The Church closed in the early 1990s, the building was not reopened as the community centre until 2005. It has since host numerous functions and is widely used by the whole community.

The Springmount Bog Tablets are a set of six wooden wax tablets dating to the late 7th or early 8th century that were discovered in 1914 in the Springmount bog near Ballyhutherland, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The tablets form a booklet with text from the Book of Psalms inscribed on the wax surface of the wooden pages. The tablets are considered to be the earliest surviving example of Irish writing in the Latin script, and were included as no. 25 in a set of 100 items representing A History of Ireland in 100 Objects compiled by The Irish Times, the National Museum of Ireland, and the Royal Irish Academy.

Antrim was a county constituency of the Parliament of Northern Ireland from 1921 to 1929. It returned seven MPs, using proportional representation by means of the single transferable vote.
