Martinstown (Irish: Baile Uí Mháirtín) is a small village in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Located 6 miles from Ballymena, it is situated in Glenravel, locally known as "The Tenth Glen", alongside the widely known nine Glens of Antrim. It lies within the Mid and East Antrim Borough Council area. It had a population of 345 people (108 households) in the 2011 Census. (2001 Census: 285 people) On 19 May 1922, the Irish Republican Army attacked Martinstown Royal Irish Constabulary barracks with gunfire and grenades, sparking a battle. They also ambushed a group of reinforcements, killing a Special Constable.

Antrim was a county constituency of the Parliament of Northern Ireland from 1921 to 1929. It returned seven MPs, using proportional representation by means of the single transferable vote.

Newtowncrommelin (Irish: Baile Nua Chromlain) is a small village and civil parish in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It lies 8 miles north-northeast of Ballymena and is in the Mid and East Antrim Borough Council area. The village of Newtowncrommelin was founded in the townland of Skerry (from Irish An Sceire, meaning 'rocky hill') (now the townlands of Skerry West and Skerry East). Ballymena, Cargan and Martinstown can be viewed from atop Skerry Rock, which is accessible through private land, alongside the back of the Skerry Inn. Most of the housing developments are situated along the Skerry East, Skerry West, Windy Gap, Tullykittagh and Old Cushendun Roads.

North Antrim (Irish: Aontroim Thuaidh, Ulster Scots: North Anthrim) is a constituency in the Northern Ireland Assembly. The seat was first used for a Northern Ireland-only election for the Northern Ireland Assembly, 1973. It usually shares boundaries with the North Antrim UK Parliament constituency, however the boundaries of the two constituencies were slightly different from 1983 to 1986 as the Assembly boundaries had not caught up with Parliamentary boundary changes. In 1996 members of the Northern Ireland Forum were elected from the newly drawn Parliamentary constituencies but the 51st Parliament of the United Kingdom, elected in 1992 under the 1983–95 constituency boundaries, was still in session. However the boundaries of North Antrim were not changed in the 1996–1997 redistribution. Members were elected from the constituency to the 1975 Constitutional Convention, the 1982 Assembly, the 1996 Forum and then to the current Assembly from 1998. Cargan (from Irish an Carraigín, meaning 'the small rock') is a hamlet and townland in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It lies at the foot of Slievenanee in Glenravel – locally known as "The Tenth Glen" along with the more widely known nine Glens of Antrim. It is part of Mid and East Antrim district. It had a population of 588 people (223 households) in the 2011 Census. (2001 Census: 411 people)

Clogh, also spelt as Clough (from Irish An Chloch 'the stone'), is a small village in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, 9 miles from Ballymena. It is situated within the Glenravel ward of the Braid electoral area of Mid and East Antrim District Council. It had a population of 220 people (90 households) in the 2011 Census. (2001 Census: 105 people) Dunaghy Old Rectory, on the main street, is one of the village's most striking buildings. There are three churches in the vicinity. St. James Dunaghy Parish Church of Ireland is situated at the fork junction at the bottom of the main street. The Gospel Hall is located on main street. While the large Presbyterian Church is situated just outside the village. The village's community centre is housed in a building that was originally Clough Baptist Church at the top of the Main Street. The Church closed in the early 1990s, the building was not reopened as the community centre until 2005. It has since host numerous functions and is widely used by the whole community.
