Bishop Hartley High School is a private, Catholic high school located in Columbus, Ohio. The school is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Columbus, and serves the East side of Columbus. It is a coeducational high school and typically has an enrollment between 600 and 700 students. The school bases itself upon 6 pillars: faith, service, preparation, spirit, community, and leadership. Bishop Hartley High School has been noted for its technology program, as students are provided with an array of devices to facilitate learning. Also, each classroom is equipped with a SMART board and most homework is transferred online.

Alum Crest High School was a public high school located in Columbus, Ohio. It was part of Columbus City Schools. Designed to meet the needs of emotionally disturbed students, Alum Crest High School prepared young men and women to successfully achieve the goal of graduating from Columbus Public Schools. However, the school was sold in March 2015 and merged with Clearbrook Middle School, and together are now Columbus Scioto 6–12.

Bernlohr Stadium is the home stadium to the Capital University Comets. The stadium is located on Capital University's campus in Bexley, Ohio. Capital University is a member of the Ohio Athletic Conference. Bernlohr Stadium is mainly used for football, men's and women's soccer, and men's and women's lacrosse.

Capital University (Capital, Cap, or CU) is a private university in Bexley, Ohio. Capital was founded as the Theological Seminary of the Evangelical Lutheran Synod of Ohio in 1830, and later was associated with that synod's successor, the American Lutheran Church. The university has undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as a law school. Capital University is the oldest university in Central Ohio and is one of the oldest and largest Lutheran-affiliated universities in North America.

The Hanford Village George Washington Carver Addition Historic District is a historic district in the Hanford Village neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013. At the time of nomination, the site consisted of 95 buildings, sites, or structures, 76 of which are contributing. Most are one-and-a-half-story gabled Cape Cod houses with simplified Colonial Revival features.The George Washington Carver Addition is significant as part of a historic suburban municipality built for African American World War II veterans. The district illustrates the struggles and limits that Black citizens had in a segregated society. The district is also notable as the home of many of the Tuskegee Airmen while they operated out of the nearby Lockbourne Army Airport.

The Farm Crest Bakeries building, also known as the Hoffman Container Factory, is a historic building in the Driving Park neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. The Streamline Moderne building was constructed from 1947 to 1949, and was lauded at its opening as a modern and innovative facility. It is one of the few buildings constructed in an Art Deco style that remain in Columbus. It was proposed for demolition in 2022, and was listed as an endangered property in Columbus following news of the proposal.

Driving Park is an urban residential area on the Near East Side of Columbus, Ohio just south of Interstate 70. Mainly a middle-class, predominantly African American neighborhood, Driving Park and its surrounding neighborhoods consist of an area of 17,730 residents. Driving Park received its name from its historic past as a large racing complex, first for horses and later for automobiles.

Eastmoor Academy is a public high school located on the east side of Columbus, Ohio. It is part of Columbus City Schools. Eastmoor Academy was formerly known as Eastmoor High School. The school's colors are red, white and blue, and its mascot is a warrior. Eastmoor is the high school alma mater of two-time Heisman Trophy winner Archie Griffin, after whom their football stadium is now named; it is also the alma mater of former Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer Artimus Pyle (class of 1966), and jazz musician Michael Feinstein. Gary Ballen aka today as the Human Jukebox" was a 1970 graduate of EHS. Gary has lived an exceptional life in the music entertainment industry including touring with many well-known performers, including Straight Outta Compton Gansta Rap group, "NWA". Robert "Tico Bob" Street (Class of 1969), became a Columbus radio personality in the 1970s now residing in Arizona, Robert is a successful transportation business executive and founder of the Robert Street Band, performing throughout the Southwestern United States. Internationally published and cited author David M Baker, GG was a 1971 graduate of Eastmoor High School. Another Eastmoor High School alumni was birding artist Charles "Buddy" Gambill (1968). Detroit Lyons Linebacker, Paul Naumoff is a graduate (1964), as was Doug Van Horn, Offensive Lineman for the Detroit Lyons and later the New York Giants. Ronald G. Shafer, a member of the first graduating class in 1957, was a reporter and Washington political features editor at the Wall Street Journal over a 38-year-career. Shafer still writes for the Washington Post. In the 1960s, frequent performers at Eastmoor included Mexican virtuoso solo trumpeter, Rafael Méndez, and the incomparable American Jazz trumpeter, Doc Severinsen. During the eighties, the school was a frequent stop for high-profile speakers in the civil rights movement such as Coretta Scott King. The movie Speak starring Kristen Stewart was filmed at Eastmoor in 2003. In 2008, the Eastmoor football team went 13–2, eventually losing in the Division 3 State Championship Game to the Aurora Greenmen, 21–10.

Agudas Achim is a Conservative synagogue located in Bexley, Ohio, in the United States. It was established in Columbus in 1881, and by 1897 was no longer the only Orthodox synagogue in the city. Presently, Agudas shares Broad Street with three other synagogues - Ahavat Shalom, Temple Israel, and Tifereth Israel.

Columbus School for Girls (CSG) is a private, all-girls college-preparatory day school located in Bexley, Ohio, United States, an enclave of Columbus. It serves students from 3 years old to 12th grade and it is the only all-girls high school in Franklin County.

The Frederick A. Miller House, or Broad Gables, is a historic house in the Wolfe Park neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio, United States. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. It is a well-preserved example of early 20th century Tudor Revival houses. It was built in 1915 and designed by Columbus firm Richards, McCarty & Bulford in the Tudor Revival style.The house was built for Frederick A. Miller, president of the H.C. Godman Co., the city's first and largest shoe manufacturer. At the time of its construction, he was the vice president and general manager of that company, co-founded by his father. Miller died in 1945, and his wife remarried, rarely used the house while living in New York, and sold it in 1950. From that year until 1983, the Monastery of Discalced Carmelite Nuns owned and occupied the building; afterward it became a private residence once again.
