The Scots Kirk, Lausanne, is a protestant, presbyterian church situated in Lausanne, avenue de Rumine 24. It is part of the Church of Scotland's Presbytery of Europe and one of two congregations of the Church of Scotland in Switzerland, the other being the Scots Kirk in Geneva. Sunday services are in English.

The Parc de Mon Repos is a public park of the city of Lausanne, Switzerland. The villa located in the centre of the park hosted the headquarters of the International Olympic Committee from 1922 to 1967.

Once known as a municipal theater, it has transformed into a world renowned opera house that produces and co-produces their own productions. The Federal Supreme Court of Switzerland (German: Bundesgericht, French: Tribunal fédéral, Italian: Tribunale federale, Romansh: Tribunal federal ) is the supreme court of the Swiss Confederation and at the head of the Swiss judiciary. The Federal Supreme Court is headquartered in the Federal Courthouse in Lausanne in the canton of Vaud. The two social security divisions of the Federal Supreme Court (formerly Federal Insurance Court, as an organizationally independent unit of the Federal Supreme Court), are located in Lucerne. The Federal Assembly elects 38 justices to the Federal Supreme Court. The current president of the court is Ulrich Meyer.

Ours is a Lausanne Métro station on M2 line. It was opened on 27 October 2008 as part of the inaugural section of the line, from Croisettes to Ouchy–Olympique. The station is located between CHUV and Bessières.

The Capitole is a cinema in Lausanne, Switzerland, built in 1928. It is the oldest cinema in Lausanne and, with 718 seats, the largest cinema in operation in Switzerland. Since 2024, it has been operated by the Swiss Film Archive.

The World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS) is the international umbrella organization encompassing the major cue sports (billiards-type games), including carom billiards, pool games of several varieties, and snooker.The confederation was formed in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland, on January 25, 1992. Its headquarters were previously located in Sint-Martens-Latem, Belgium. Jean-Claude Dupont, of Belgium, served as WCBS' president from 2010 to 2015, followed by England's Jason Elliott Ferguson for 2015–2017. Australia's Ian Anderson became the confederation's ninth president in 2017.The World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS) has 135 member national federations, as well as continental bodies for Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania. WCBS, in turn, is affiliated with many international sports organizations, such as the International Olympic Committee (IOC), General Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF), International World Games Association (IWGA) and Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF). Its statutes, practices and activities all conform to the Olympic Charter.

Collège Champittet is a Swiss school in the canton de Vaud operated by Nord Anglia Education, a group of 82 schools around the world. The school offers an academic education for students ages 3–19 and has two campuses: the main one is located in the vicinity of Lausanne in Pully, and the other one in Nyon. The Nyon campus offers Kindergarten and primary school education services, while the Pully campus offers a Kindergarten, primary and a secondary education. The school offers a full boarding service for students who are willing to live in the Pully campus. The school has a 950-student capacity. The school was established in 1903 by a group of Dominican fathers as a Catholic school for boys. They were in charge of the establishment until 1951, when they passed on the leadership of the school to capitular fathers of the Great Saint-Bernard order, who left the school in the care of a group of professional educators in 1998. During this time, in 1984, the school became mixed and accepted girls. Collège Champittet offers a bilingual program French/English for all students. A bilingual or Francophone curriculum and a program for non-francophone students (French as Foreign Language (FLE)) is also available. For the upper secondary students (age 14 to 19), students can choose between the French Baccalaureate, the FLE program, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Champittet calls for a technological approach of education. In fact it is accredited by Intersection, an independent company that evaluates the degree and quality of technology integration within the educational environment of private schools at primary and secondary level. Champittet hosts over 30 different nationalities (50% of which are Swiss), nearly all students are either French native speakers, bilingual or plurilingual (20% are native English speakers). Many choices of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are available for students: Global Citizenship, Model UN, Debate Club, music, sports etc. Variety of educational and humanitarian events are possible because of the involvement of Champittet in several charitable projects through Foundation Collège Champittet which collaborates with: Foundation Avotra in Madagascar, Foundation Jan & Oscar in Thailand, Nordstar of Nord Anglia Education in Tanzania and 1001 Fontaines in Cambodia. Champittet recently absorbed the students from L'Institut Mont-Olivet, a neighbouring school which closed in 2016.

The Lausanne Underground Film and Music Festival (LUFF) is a film festival and music festival devoted to underground film and music. It is held each year in Lausanne, Switzerland. The festival is organized by a non-profit organization (APCI – Association pour la Promotion de la Culture Indépendante). The organization's goals are to promote independent artistic projects and creations and to make those projects accessible to a large public. The primary goal of the Lausanne Underground Film & Music Festival is to present films and music that largely exist outside the mainstream and profit driven production and distribution circuits. The cinematic section presents mainly films with an experimental character and/or films that challenge the spectator's viewing habits. Films are screened during the day and evening, followed by live music events featuring underground artists at night. Money prizes are awarded by the festival for the films selected in the international competition, in order to support the filmmakers in creating their art. The musical program of the festival proposes sonar experimentations of all kind. During the four concert nights of the festival week, an average of twenty international and Swiss musicians and groups play in the Salle des Fêtes of the Casino de Montbenon, the neuralgic center of the festival. In 2012 the festival has considerably enlarged its "off" program (a wide artistic offer free of charge, evolving in parallel to the official program) which continues to grow ever since and participates largely to the festive and open character of the event.During the five days of the festival, its activities also expand to local venues such as the rock club Le Romandie, the independent movie theater Le Zinéma, the cultural venue La Datcha, the auditorium of the local music school EJMA as well as the book store and art gallery La Librairie Humus, the art gallery Standard Deluxe, the associative photo&cine laboratory "on fait du l'art !", the independent movie theater Bellevaux and use to work with the café-théâtre le Bourg and the center for contemporary art Arsenic.The annual budget of the festival is of total value about 300.000 Swiss francs (270,000 euros).
