The Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (FASFC) is an authority tasked with ensuring the quality and safety of foodstuffs in Belgium, and safeguarding plant, animal and human health this way. It controls and inspects all processes in the food industry "from farm to fork", meaning all food production, food processing, food distribution and food service. With food safety in mind, the agency is also responsible for combating animal and plant diseases.

The Belgian Health Care Knowledge Centre (abbreviated to KCE) is an independent federal research institute in Belgium that provides multidisciplinary scientific advice to relevant persons and authorities on topics related to health care. More specifically, the KCE carries out research on the organisation and financing of the health system (health services research), assesses health technologies and drugs (health technology assessment), establishes guidelines for clinical practice and updates them according to the latest scientific evidence (good clinical practices), and establishes validated methods for research in the field of health care and public health. Aside from producing scientific reports on these topics, the KCE also maintains a clinical research programme in which it selects and funds non-commercial clinical trials. Lastly, the KCE critically reviews, analyses and summarizes publications from foreign research institutes and peer reviewed journals that could be of interest to Belgian clinicians and authorities.

The Toy Museum (French:Musée du jouet) is a museum of toys and games in Brussels, Belgium. The museum opened on 14 November 1990. The core collection was amassed by a family of amateur toy enthusiasts and has grown through donations by the public as well as purchases.The museum is housed in a former grand mansion with 1,000 square metres (11,000 sq ft) of exhibition space on three floors. The museum is home to over 25,000 historic toys and games, mostly from the 1950s to 1980s with oldest dating back to 1830.The Toy Museum is located at 1000 Rue de l'Association, 24 1000 Brussels.

Botanique (French) or Kruidtuin (Dutch) is a Brussels metro station on the northern segment of lines 2 and 6. It is located under the small ring at Rue Royale/Koningsstraat in the municipality of the Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, north of the City of Brussels (Belgium). It opened as a premetro (underground tram) station on 18 August 1974 and became a full metro station on 2 October 1988. The National Botanic Garden of Belgium, for which the area and station is named, was moved in the 1930s to the Flemish municipality of Meise, but the name Le Botanique and the building complex located nearby is still used as a concert venue and cultural centre.

The Corinthia Grand Hotel Astoria, formerly the Hotel Astoria, is a five-star luxury hotel in the Freedom Quarter of Brussels, Belgium. Built in 1909 for the Brussels International Exposition of 1910, in a true Parisian spirit, the hotel's Louis XVI facade and majestic interior lend it a distinctly aristocratic appearance. It is considered among the finest luxury hotels in the world, and has served as a famous meeting place for kings and other great statesmen and world personalities. The hotel is located at 101–103, rue Royale/Koningsstraat, not far from the Congress Column and Brussels Park. This area is served by Brussels-Congress railway station, the metro stations Parc/Park (on lines 1 and 5) and Botanique/Kruidtuin (on lines 2 and 6), as well as the tram stop Congrès/Congres on lines 92 and 93.

Le Botanique (French) or Kruidtuin (Dutch) is a cultural complex and music venue in Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, Brussels. The building was previously the main orangery of the National Botanic Garden of Belgium and even as part of the garden had hosted cultural events. In 1958, the National Botanic Garden of Belgium moved to Meise, outside of Brussels. Le Botanique opened in 1984, and the gardens in front are now the Botanical Garden of Brussels.

The Botanical Garden of Brussels (French: Jardin botanique de Bruxelles, Dutch: Kruidtuin van Brussel) stood on the Rue Royale/Koningsstraat in Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, near Brussels’ Northern Quarter financial district. The main building is now a cultural complex and music venue known as Le Botanique. It can be accessed from Botanique/Kruidtuin metro station on lines 2 and 6 of the Brussels Metro.

The Rue Royale (French, "Royal Street") or Koningsstraat (Dutch, "King's Street") is a street in Brussels, Belgium, running through the municipalities of Schaerbeek, Saint-Josse-ten-Noode and the City of Brussels. It is limited to the south by the Place Royale/Koningsplein in the city centre and to the north by the Place de la Reine/Koninginplein in Schaerbeek. Several places of interest lie along the Rue Royale, for instance the Royal Palace, the Centre for Fine Arts, Brussels Park, the Congress Column, the Botanical Garden of Brussels, Le Botanique concert hall and Saint Mary's Royal Church. In addition, many companies have offices on the street, for instance Accenture and BNP Paribas Fortis as well as the French-speaking Community of Belgium. Two metro stations can be accessed from the Rue Royale: Parc/Park metro station and Botanique/Kruidtuin metro station. The street is continued to the north by the Rue Royale Sainte-Marie/Koninklijke Sinte-Mariastraat and to the south by the Rue de la Régence/Regentschapsstraat. It also crosses the Small Ring at the Botanique crossroad.

Brussels-Congress railway station (French: Gare de Bruxelles-Congrès, Dutch: Station Brussel-Congres), officially Brussels-Congress (French: Bruxelles-Congrès, Dutch: Brussel-Congres) is a train stop on the North–South connection in the City of Brussels, Belgium. It is located at 25, Boulevard Pacheco/Pachecolaan, near the State Administrative City. Opened in 1952, it served as a railway station for 50 years. In 2002, the ticket offices closed and it was downgraded to a train stop. With only few passengers a day using Brussels-Congress, plans were being made to close it completely. However, up to now, none has been executed.

The Congress Column (French: Colonne du Congrès, Dutch: Congreskolom) is a monumental column in Brussels, Belgium, which commemorates the creation of the Belgian Constitution by the National Congress of 1830–31. Inspired by Trajan's Column in Rome, it was erected between 1850 and 1859, on the initiative of Charles Rogier according to a design by Joseph Poelaert. At the top of the column is a statue of Belgium's first monarch; King Leopold I, and at its base, the pedestal is surrounded by statues personifying the four freedoms guaranteed under the Constitution. The Belgian Tomb of the Unknown Soldier with an eternal flame lies at its foot.The column is located on the Place du Congrès/Congresplein; a small square adjacent to the Rue Royale/Koningsstraat in the Freedom Quarter of Brussels. This area is served by Brussels-Congress railway station, the metro stations Parc/Park (on lines 1 and 5) and Botanique/Kruidtuin (on lines 2 and 6), as well as the tram stop Congrès/Congres on lines 92 and 93.

Saint-Louis University, Brussels or UCLouvain Saint-Louis Brussels (officially, in French Université Saint-Louis – Bruxelles) is a public university in Brussels, belonging to the French Community of Belgium and specialized in social and human sciences. Prior to 2012 it was known as the Facultés universitaires Saint-Louis (abbreviated FUSL). From September 2018 on, the university uses the name UCLouvain, together with the University of Louvain, in the context of a merger between both universities.
