Tram Inn railway station was a station to the east of Thruxton, Herefordshire, England. It was named after a local public house, itself named after a tramway that carried coal into Hereford before the modern railway.The station was opened in 1854, closed to passengers in 1958 and closed completely in 1964.

It opened in September 2008 based at the earlier Hereford Waldorf School and is the first publicly funded Steiner-Waldorf school in the UK. Much Dewchurch is a village and civil parish in Herefordshire, England. The village lies about 6 miles (10 km) south of Hereford. The parish includes the hamlet of Kivernoll and part of the village of Wormelow. The Old Vicarage has stood since the 17th century, and includes a plaque of the number of vicars that served the parish in 1665. Other buildings of note are the pub which still has civil war musket damage on the wooden walls inside. The Grade I listed Norman square-towered church, dedicated to St David, dates to the 12th century. A Victorian extension to the north transept was built in the high neo-gothic revival period. Inside is a memorial bas-relief to the Biddulph family, lords of the manor.The Steiner Academy Hereford is at the centre of the village, close to and south of the church. Large estates in the area include Bryngwyn Manor (grid reference SO484301) and The Mynde (SO470297), both lying south of the village. Bryngwyn Manor is a Victorian Gothic manor house constructed in 1868 by F. R. Kempson for Sir James Rankin, later MP for Leominster. The Mynde, a Grade I-listed building, was an ancestral home of the Pye family. Walter Pye was Attorney General in the reign of Charles I. The house was acquired by the Duke of Chandos, who sold the estate to the Symons family in 1729.

The Mynde is a country house in Much Dewchurch, Herefordshire. Originally built in the 15th and 16th centuries, it was remodelled in the 18th century and refronted in the 19th century by William Atkinson. Built of sandstone rubble and brick, it is stuccoed on three sides. It has a rectangular floor plan with rear projecting wings to the west and an east facing frontage and is built in 3 storeys with a hipped Welsh slate roof. The main front elevation has 9 bays, with the central five bays slightly projecting, with a porch flanked by Doric columns supporting an entablature. It stands in a 1,180-acre estate and is approached along a mile-long private 'carriage drive' with views of the gardens, lake and the surrounding Herefordshire countryside. The house is a Grade I listed building.

The nearest market town is Ross-on-Wye 9 miles (14 km) to the south-east. Within Dewsall is the Grade II* listed Church of St Michael, and the birthplace of James Brydges, 1st Duke of Chandos.

Kilpeck Priory was a Benedictine priory in Kilpeck, Herefordshire, England, at grid reference SO448303.In 1134, William, son of Norman, gave the church of St David, Kilpeck, and the Chapel of St Mary to Gloucester Abbey, and a Priory cell was established about 400 yards South East of the church, to house some monks displaced from Llanthony Priory by attacks of the Welsh. In 1428 the church was united to Gloucester. In 1320, there was a chantry chapel in the forest of Treville, Herefordshire, and its control was later disputed between Sir Baldwill of Trevville and the Prior of Kilpeck Priory.Members of the archaeology section of the Woolhope Naturalists' Field Club visited the site on 18 March 1979. Earthworks lie about seventy yards to the SSW of Priory Farm and are a slight platform and banks, so maybe the remains of the priory. The ground slopes away to the SW of the farmhouse and there appears to be a fishpond towards the lower part of the slope, now dry.

Pevsner describes Kilpeck as "one of the most perfect Norman churches in England". Famous for its stone carvings, the church is a Grade I listed building.

Kilpeck (Welsh: Llanddewi Cil Peddeg) is a village and civil parish in the county of Herefordshire, England. It is about nine miles (14 km) southwest of Hereford, just south of the A465 road and Welsh Marches Line to Abergavenny, and about five miles (8 km) from the border with Wales. On 1 April 2019 the parishes of Kenderchurch, St Devereux, Treville and Wormbridge were merged with Kilpeck.The village is renowned for its small but outstanding Norman (Romanesque) church, SS Mary and David's, but also has the earthworks of a Norman motte-and-bailey castle that is no longer standing. The church is a Grade I listed building. There is a public house called the Kilpeck Inn, formerly the Red Lion, situated in the centre of the village opposite the village green. Other amenities include a village hall and post office.

Wormelow Tump is a village in Herefordshire, England, 6 miles (10 km) south of Hereford and 6+1⁄2 mi (10 km) north-west of Ross-on-Wye. Most of the village lies in the parish of Much Birch, but it extends west across the parish boundary – which here follows the A466 – into Much Dewchurch parish. The tump itself was a mound which local tradition holds was the burial place of King Arthur's son Amr. The tump was flattened to widen the road in 1896.Wormelow gave its name to a hundred. The Domesday Book mentions the custom that all citizens of Herefordshire who owned a horse were required to attend the meeting of all the hundreds, which took place every three years at Wormelow Tump.The village is the site of the Violette Szabo GC Museum, commemorating the life of World War II secret agent Violette Szabo. Szabo (nee Bushell) stayed occasionally in the village from childhood until just before her final mission, at a house then called The Old Kennels, which was the home of her cousins the Lucas family.The local manor house, Bryngwyn Manor, has been converted into apartments.

Haywood is a civil parish in Herefordshire, England, and south-west of Hereford. Parish population at the 2011 census was 216. There are no substantial settlements, however, it is home to one of the largest poultry farms in Great Britain. The Hay of Hereford was a Royal forest in the early Middle Ages. It was granted by Empress Matilda to Milo of Gloucester when she created him Earl of Hereford. The woodlands can be seen on Saxton's 1577 map of Herefordshire.Haywood was officially outside of any parish in the mid-1800s.
