Kildimo-Pallaskenry GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Pallaskenry, County Limerick, Ireland. It was founded in 1906 and the following are some significant dates from its history:

Pallaskenry (Irish: Pailís Chaonraí) is a village in County Limerick, Ireland. Pallaskenry derives its name from Kenry Castle (the palisaded castle at Kenry), nowadays known as Shanpallas Castle.[Topographical Dictionary of Ireland, p455, Lewis]. It was one of the principal ancient castles of County Limerick. [The Journal of The Royal Society of Antiquaries of Ireland, Volume 37, p25]. Kenry Castle was the original property of Russells as part of the territories or Ardcanny and Chapelrussell (incl. Pallas itself) which was acquired by the first Knight of Glin, Sir John fitz John. It was later in the possession of Henry Fitzgerald, grandson of the first Knight in 1330 and served as an important sub-manor of the Earls of Desmond right through to 1652. The village is located about 24 km (15 mi) west of Limerick city close to the River Shannon estuary. The town is reached by travelling about five kilometres (~3 miles) north off the N69 National Route that runs west from the city. Pallaskenry is a satellite town of Limerick city, many of its inhabitants work in the city but many also work in Shannon Town, County Clare (north across the estuary), and Askeaton, a town further west of Pallaskenry. A pier on the Shannon Estuary is located a couple of kilometers further north of the town, at Ringmoylan. This point is almost directly across the estuary from Shannon Town, and offers a good view of airplanes landing and taking off at Shannon Airport.

Killulta Church is a medieval church and a National Monument in County Limerick, Ireland.

Kilcornan (Irish: Cill Churnáin) is a civil parish in County Limerick. It is about seventeen kilometres west of Limerick city on the N69 road. According to the 2011 census of Ireland the population of the Kilcornan Electoral Division was 749, an increase of 11.6% since 2006. There is a Catholic church and a National School on the main road as well as a public house. Apart from Curraghchase, the ancestral home of the Victorian Poet Aubrey de Vere, the next most visited tourism site in Kilcornan is the Stonehall Visitor Park. There is also a go kart track. It is located across the River Shannon from Shannon Airport, County Clare.

Killeen Cowpark is a medieval church and a National Monument in County Limerick, Ireland.

Curraghchase is a 774-acre (3 km2) forest park located in County Limerick. It is 20 km from the city of Limerick, between the towns of Adare and Askeaton. The land was the Hunt/de Vere family estate for 300 years (1657–1957), including the period of the de Vere baronets, also serving as the home of renowned poet and critic Aubrey Thomas De Vere.

Kildimo (Irish: Cill Díoma) is a village in County Limerick, Ireland. The village is located on the N69 National Route about 13 km west of Limerick city close to the River Shannon estuary. The population was 417 at the 2016 census.

Wolfe Tones is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Shannon in County Clare, Ireland.

The River Maigue ( Irish: An Mháigh, meaning 'river of the plain') rises in the Milford area of north County Cork, Ireland. The River Maigue is 38.75 miles long. It drains an area of 1,000 km2It is joined by the small River Glen and the larger River Loobagh in south County Limerick. It then flows north through Bruree, after which it augmented by the River Morning Star. It flows through Croom and Adare before entering the Shannon Estuary (Irish: An tSionainn) just north of Ferry Bridge (Between) Kildimo and Clarina, County Limerick, just west of Limerick city. The River Maigue is tidal up to Adare on the N21 Road Bridge.

Shannon, officially - but largely unused - St. Senan's Parish, is a parish in County Clare and part of the Tradaree grouping of parishes within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Killaloe. It is a split off of the parish of Newmarket-on-Fergus: 205 As of 2021, the co-parish priest is Arnold Rosney.The main church of the parish is the Church of the Immaculate Mother of God, built in 1966.: 205 The second church of the parish is the Church of St. John and St. Paul. This church was built in 1980. The bell was a donation of the Kilnasoolagh Church of Ireland parish and was used in the defunct church of Sixmilebridge. The bell had an engraving from 1771. The third church is the Adoration Chapel for Eucharistic Adoration, named as such in 1996. It began its career as an oratory dedicated to Our Lady of the Wayside.: 206 The first church in the parish was an oratory on Shannon Airport, that served travellers, airport staff and later inhabitants of Shannon Town. It was demolished when the old terminal was replaced by a new terminal building. The original oratory was serviced by the clergy of Newmarket-on-Fergus.: 205 

Shannon (Irish: Sionainn) or Shannon Town (Baile na Sionnainne), named after the river near which it stands, is a town in County Clare, Ireland. It was given town status on 1 January 1982. The town is located just off the N19 road, a spur of the N18/M18 road between Limerick and Ennis. It is the location of Shannon Airport, an international airport serving the Clare/Limerick region in the west of Ireland.

Bunratty Castle (Irish: Caisleán Bhun Raithe, meaning 'Castle at the Mouth of the Ratty') is a large 15th-century tower house in County Clare, Ireland. It is located in the centre of Bunratty village (Irish: Bun Ráite), by the N18 road between Limerick and Ennis, near Shannon Town and its airport. The castle and the adjoining folk park are run by Shannon Heritage as tourist attractions.
