Hickory is an unincorporated community in Harford County, Maryland, United States. Hickory is located at the junction of Maryland Route 543 and U.S. Route 1 Business 3 miles (4.8 km) north of Bel Air.

The Vineyard is a historic home and farm complex located at Bel Air, Harford County, Maryland, United States. It consists of a cluster of buildings on a knoll in the center of a 310-acre (130 ha) working grain and livestock farm. The main house is a large stone structure, the oldest section of which comprises a two-story side stairhall / double parlor dwelling built about 1804. Two bays were added to the old house around 1870. Historically significant outbuildings, include two structures (a dairy/smokehouse, and an ice house.The Vineyard was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

The school was founded in 1957 by three women: Sara Brumfield, Sidney Tynan, and Mignon Cameron. The school initially occupied a rented building on Hays Street in Bel Air before moving to its current location on Moores Mill Road in 1962. Harford Day School enrolls boys and girls from 3 year olds through eighth grade on a 12-acre (49,000 m2) campus in Bel Air, MD. C. Milton Wright High School is a public secondary school located in Bel Air, Maryland, United States. It was founded in 1980 with Robert Garbacik as its first principal. The school is named after Charles Milton Wright, a former superintendent of the Harford County Public Schools system.

Heighe House is a historic home complex and national historic district at Bel Air, Harford County, Maryland, United States. The complex consists of a Colonial Revival, 2+1⁄2-story stone main house built on and incorporating the stone foundations of the Moores Mill, built in 1745; a 1+1⁄2-story frame chauffeur's cottage; garage; and a 1+1⁄2-story stone and frame guest house. They are all located on a steeply sloping 17-acre (69,000 m2) site along Bynum Run. The property was developed in 1928 as a country estate for Anne McElderry Heighe (d. 1953), a woman widely regarded as the "first lady of Maryland racing."It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Proctor House, also known as the Cassandra Gilbert House, is an historic home located at Bel Air, Harford County, Maryland, United States. It is a two-story detached Carpenter Gothic style cottage with board and batten siding, constructed between 1860 and 1873 and enlarged about 1884. The interior features an arched slate mantel painted to resemble several colors of inlaid marble.Proctor House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Forest Hill is an unincorporated community in Harford County, Maryland, United States, located north of the county seat of Bel Air. The main part of town is located at the intersection of Maryland Route 24 and Jarrettsville Road (former Maryland Route 23). Until 1958, this community was served by the Maryland and Pennsylvania Railroad at milepost 30.3. Forest Hill's ZIP code area covers a relatively large area, with rural land on one side and suburban neighborhoods on the other. The latter is part of the Bel Air suburbs. St. Ignatius Church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

Bel Air Armory is a historic National Guard armory located at Bel Air, Harford County, Maryland. It was constructed in 1915 of Port Deposit granite. The building consists of the main block, five bays by three, two stories over a raised basement, and the "drill hall" to the rear of the main block. The front elevation is detailed to recall Medieval fortifications and features two projecting hexagonal towers which rise to three stories and are topped by crenelated battlements finished in stone coping.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Bel Forest Christian Academy is located in Bel Air, Maryland, United States. It is a relatively small school, with an enrollment of approximately 100 students. The school goes from pre-kindergarten to eighth grade. The school was built in 1980, and Bel Forest celebrated its twenty-fifth anniversary in 2005. The Governor at the time, Robert Ehrlich, was there and met with school representatives. The school closed at the end of the 2013–2014 school year.

Odd Fellows Lodge, also known as Old First Presbyterian Church, is a historic building in Bel Air, Maryland, United States. It was built in 1852, and is a one-story, temple-form, Greek Revival style brick building above a high basement. The front facade features a projecting portico supported by four Doric order columns. It was originally built for the First Presbyterian Church, who moved to a new church in 1881 and leased it to the Odd Fellows Lodge.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

The Graham-Crocker House is a historic home located at 30 North Main Street, Bel Air, Harford County, Maryland, United States. It is a 2+1⁄2-story frame dwelling with a shed addition to the south and an ell to the west, and dating to about 1825.The Graham-Crocker House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
