Mont Chauffé (French pronunciation: [mɔ̃ ʃofe]; 2,093 m) is a mountain in the Chablais Alps in Haute-Savoie, France.

The Cornettes de Bise (French pronunciation: [kɔʁnɛt də biz]) is a mountain in the Chablais Alps, overlooking Lake Geneva. At 2,432 metres (7,979 feet) above sea level, it is the highest summit of the subrange running from Pas de Morgins to Lake Geneva. The mountain is located on the border between France (west) and Switzerland (east). Nearest localities are Miex (Valais) and La Chapelle-d'Abondance (Haute Savoie). Various trails lead to the summit from both sides.

The Dent du Vélan is a peak in the Chablais Alps, located north of the Cornettes de Bise. At 2,059 metres (6,755 ft) above sea level, its summit straddles the border between Switzerland and France. The Dent du Vélan is the westernmost summit rising above 2,000 m (6,560 ft) in Switzerland.

Lac de Darbon is a lake in Haute-Savoie, France. Located at an elevation of 1813 m, its surface area is 2 ha. This is a remote area, reachable only by 4WD. The 'chalets' near the lake were burned down by German forces during WW2 as they were used by the resistance as the remote area was perfect for arms and ammunition dropped by the Allied forces. These chalets were rebuilt / repaired by a group of local friends from a nearby village, in the 1980s and 1990s. They upkeep, maintain and uses them for Eco-conservation with great respect for the surrounding pristine nature, fauna and vistas. The lake area is the home of numerous ibex, Alpine marmots, and snakes.

La Chapelle-d'Abondance (French pronunciation: [la ʃapɛl dabɔ̃dɑ̃s]) is a commune in the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. Located in the northern French Alps, the village lies at the heart of a farming valley in Haute-Savoie. Nestling below the peaks of the "Cornettes de Bise" and the "Mont de Grange" which rise to almost 2,400 metres (7,900 ft), the Abondance Valley is a verdant mountain pasture amongst the Alpine Peaks of the Chablais Massif. The waters of the River Dranse run through the valley, enriching the fertile pasture land before flowing out into Lac Leman (Lake Geneva) near Evian. There are opportunities for rafting lower down the Dranse, where the sluice gates are opened each day to let a torrent of water down the river, In the winter, La Chapelle d'Abondance is a winter sports playground. On the edge of the massive Portes du Soleil with access via the Panthiaz telecabine. La Chapelle d'Abondance has accommodation ranging from Gites to Chambre d'Hotes. Several independently run, fully catered ski chalets offering accommodation and meals. La Chapelle d'Abondance has its own ski areas and ESF ski school for all levels: Cret Beni ski area – height of top lift 1536 m: In the shadow of the Mont de Grange (2432 m) is the Cret Beni ski area. The pistes are north facing so ensure good snow conditions for skiing and boarding. There are mountain restaurants offering local cuisine. Braitaz ski area – height of top lift 1792 m: A cable car gives access to the south facing ski area. It is possible to ski to Torgon in Switzerland or ski towards the Super Chatel domain and the vast Portes du Soleil ski area. Nordic Skiing is also a popular pastime in the area. The valley has 35 km of Nordic Skiing linking Chatel, La Chapelle and Abondance. Equipment can be hired from the ski hire shops in the village. There are also horse-drawn sleigh rides, sledging and husky dog sleds. In summer, the network of more than 720 km (450 mi) of marked paths provides walkers the opportunity to explore easy riverside paths, or find tranquility and solitude high in the mountains above, where local ski lifts allow easy access to paths which cross the border between France and Switzerland. Other activities include river fishing and riding the Portes du Soleil mountain bike trails. Wildlife abounds in the valley from deer, wild boar and stags roaming the hills, to marmots sleeping on sun warmed mountain banks. There is a deer sanctuary tucked behind the old mill above the town center.

The Dent d'Oche (French pronunciation: [dɑ̃ dɔʃ]) is a mountain in the Haute-Savoie region of France, in the Chablais massif, near the Swiss-French border, that rises to 2,221 m (7,287 ft) in altitude. It towers above Évian, Thonon, and Lake Geneva. It offers a view of the French and Swiss Alps and the Swiss prealps. It is the northernmost summit above 2,000 m (6,600 ft) in France. About 100 m (330 ft) below the summit is a refuge of the French Alpine Club, the refuge de la Dent d'Oche. In summer, the refuge and the summit can be reached by a hike that is doable without special equipment, but significantly more difficult than the usual routes to nearby peaks such as Cornettes de Bise and Le Grammont. Reaching the refuge involves some short climbing sections for which chains are provided. The hike from the refuge up to the summit involves some unsecured sections along a cliff, where a misstep would be fatal. There is an alternative hiking route to the summit, from the east, that is even more delicate. Finally, the north face route, with a rise of 350 m (1,150 ft), is one of the most difficult climbs of the Chablais Alps. Certain sections require extensive technical skill. The first ascent of the north face was achieved by Joseph Ravanel, his siblings Arthur and Camille and François Jacquier on 6 June 1925.

The Sex du Coeur (also known as Pointe d'Arvouin) is a mountain of the Chablais Alps, located on the border between Switzerland and France. It lies south of the Cornettes de Bise, between the alp of Le Coeur and the lake of Arvouin.

Lac d'Arvouin is a lake south of Cornettes de Bise in the Haute-Savoie region of France. The lake is surrounded by several summits, including Pointe d'Arvouin (2,019 m) and Le Linleu (2,093 m). It covers an area of 1.8 hectares and its deepest point is 6.3 metres. It is located at an altitude of 1,663 metres.
