Bredäng metro station

Bredäng is a district of Söderort, Stockholm, Sweden. In the southwest section of the city, it is a part of the Skärholmen borough and is named after a former farm in the area. Bredäng has an 18th-century mansion (Jakobsbergs gård) named after its first owner, Jacob Graver. Bredäng consists predominantly of 1960s apartment blocks and has a camping site by the lake Mälaren. The population of Bredäng is 9,266. 60.4% of the population had a foreign background.

Sätra metro station is a station on the red line of Stockholm metro, located in the district of Sätra. The station was opened on 16 May 1965 as the southwest terminus of the extension from Örnsberg. On 1 March 1967, the line was extended to Skärholmen. The distance to Slussen is 10.3 km (6.4 mi).

Skärholmen is the closest metro station to the Kungens Kurva area and its adjacent retail park. It is also expected to become an interchange station with the future Spårväg syd light rail line from 2031.

The station was opened on 5 April 1964 as the south terminus of the first stretch of the Red line, from T-Centralen. The distance to Slussen is 8.1 km (5.0 mi). With the station platform at 47 metres (154 ft) above sea level, it is the highest situated in the Stockholm subway network.

Fruängen (English: Wife Meadow) is a district of the Hägersten-Liljeholmen borough in Söderort, the southern suburban part of Stockholm. It was built in the early 1950s. All the streets are named after famous Swedish women like Agnes Lagerstedt, Anna Sandström, Karolina Widerström, Ellen Fries, Ellen Key, Elsa Beskow, Elin Wägner, Elsa Borg, Elsa Brändström, Eva Bonnier, Fredrika Bremer, Hanna Pauli, Hanna Rydh, Jenny Nyström, Karin Boye, Kata Dalström, Kerstin Hesselgren, Lina Sandell and Jenny Lind. A number of famous Swedes come from Fruängen. Examples include Gunnel Fred, Rolf Ridderwall, Fredde Granberg, Tomas Andersson Wij, Pontus Enhörning, Susanne Ljung and script writer Lars Lundström. The name Fruängen translates as lady's or ladies' meadow or possibly Our Lady's meadow. According to one source, Fruängen was the name of a torp (croft), while another source states the name is constructed as an analogy to the city borough Härrängen (master's meadow or lord's meadow) which is named after another croft.

Skärholmen Centrum, also known and contracted as SKHLM, is a shopping center located in the Skärholmen borough of Stockholm in Sweden. The mall has a total gross leasable area of 98,000 m2 (1,050,000 sq ft), including of public services, and is anchored by ICA, Systembolaget, H&M and Åhléns. It was inaugurated in 1968 by Prince Bertil, Duke of Halland and has been refurbished a number of times, most notably in 2008, when it was reopened by King Carl XVI Gustav. It's one of five malls owned by the Grosvenor Group in Sweden, and attracts approximately 14 million visitors annually, with an annual turnover of SEK 2 billion.
