Patchogue River

Sandspit Park Beach & Marina is located on the Patchogue River in the Village of Patchogue in Suffolk County, New York. Sandspit is on Brightwood Street off Ceder Ave directly south of the Patchogue Long Island Rail Road Station. Sandspit is home to the Patchogue and Davis Park Ferry terminal to the Atlantic Ocean Beach and bayfront communities of Davis Park, Leja Beach/Ocean Ridge. The Park & Marina offer Long Island Bay and riverside views, with shaded park benches and restrooms. There is a large parking lot which is free for Brookhaven residents. Non-residents must pay a parking fee. In the summer season this park facility may reach full parking capacity;, however, many recreationalists and visitors alike can find ample parking on the village side streets. This Long Island Village park and marina has a small Bay beach area, and there is a private river-front restaurant at the corner of the Patchogue River and Brightwood Street called On the Waterfront. There is a fenced-in playground, a fishing pier on the southeast section of the park, a fairly large village Marina. Patchogue Bay is a lagoon on the south-central shores of Long Island in the U.S. state of New York. Part of the Great South Bay, Patchogue Bay is a cove between the points of land known as Blue Point and Howells Point, and across which ferries run south to Fire Island.

Mascot Dock & Marina are a village marina and dock stretching out into the waters of the Patchogue Bay at the end of South Ocean Avenue, in Patchogue, Suffolk County, NY.[1] The Patchogue Village marina serves many local village functions, in conjunction with Shorefront Park which is adjacent to the Mascot Dock. There have been numerous events that have used the dock's location, such as fireworks displays and boat races, as well as crabbing and fishing off the long L-shaped dock. They serve the south shore of the central Long Island area with waterfront seating overlooking Great South Bay.

Shorefront Park and the Patchogue Village Band Shell are located on Smith Street at the south end of Rider Avenue, Patchogue, New York.Since 2007, the Park has undergone updates by the village of Patchogue. There has been replacement of the older Band shell to a more contemporary style has been replaces. The new venue served as the geographical host for the Great South Bay music festival in 2010. 'Rider Avenue Park' is located directly opposite or north of Shorefront Park. This park has 3 baseball diamonds, basketball courts, hiking trails, bleacher stands, and serves local sports activities. The park is surrounded by tall beach grass with a natural lake.

Blue Point Brewing Company is a brewery that is a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch InBev located on Long Island, in Patchogue, New York. The brewery offers a variety of year-round beers, and several seasonal brews, as well as a 'tasting room' which is open to the public on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The brewery hosts an annual Cask Ale Festival, concerts and other events in the brew yard.

It is on Division Street between West Avenue (Suffolk County Road 19) and South Ocean Avenue. The station is located in the Patchogue-Medford Union Free School District. Patchogue United Methodist Church is a historic United Methodist church at the southwest corner of South Ocean Avenue and Church Street in Patchogue, New York. The official address is 10 Church Street. It was built in 1889, although the Methodists originally shared a church building with the Congregationalists between 1793 and 1832. The existing church building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The Patchogue-Medford Library is a public library located in Suffolk County, New York and serves the residents who live within the Patchogue-Medford School District. It is a school district library but also serves as the central library for all of Suffolk County. It is located at 54-60 East Main Street in Patchogue, New York.

The U.S. Post Office in Patchogue, New York is located at 170 East Main Street in the Suffolk County village. It serves the ZIP Code 11772, covering the entire Village of Patchogue, as well as the hamlets of North Patchogue and East Patchogue. Patchogue Post Office was built 1930 to the designs by architect John Vredenburgh Van Pelt of Van Pelt, Hardy & Goubert, and combines Art Deco & Classical Revival architecture. The front building facade is boldly scaled in limestone, and is highlighted with relief sculpture and large monumental windows with decorative aluminum grillage. A matching analog clock sites over the front entrance doors. The rest of the building is made primarily of brick. Long Island-based stamp collectors have often considered the Patchogue Post Office to be one of several sources for stamps with obscure denominations. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 11, 1989. Three other post office buildings in Suffolk County were listed on the NRHP on the same day, but neither of them were designed by the same architect, nor were they designed in the same style as the one in Patchogue. In 2005, the United States Congress enacted legislation renaming the building the Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy Post Office Building, commemorating the heroism of Medal of Honor recipient Michael P. Murphy.
