Bethany Congregational Church (Quincy, Massachusetts)

The Thomas Crane Public Library (TCPL) is a city library in Quincy, Massachusetts. It is noted for its architecture. It was funded by the Crane family as a memorial to Thomas Crane, a wealthy stone contractor who got his start in the Quincy quarries. The Thomas Crane Library has the second largest municipal collection in Massachusetts after the Boston Public Library.

Quincy High School (QHS) is a public secondary school located on Coddington Street in Quincy, Massachusetts, United States. It doubles as one of two high schools in the city of Quincy and as the vocational center. Quincy's mascot is known as the 'Presidents' and their school colors are Blue & White.

The Coddington School is a historic school building at 26-44 Coddington Street in Quincy, Massachusetts. Built in 1909, this three-story brick building is the finest Colonial Revival school building in the city. It was designed in late 1907 by Charles A. Brigham, who is not to be confused with the better known and similarly-named Charles Brigham. It was used from the 1960s to the 2000s as part of Quincy Junior College (now Quincy College), and is now the headquarters of the Quincy School Department, as well as other municipal departments. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The US Post Office-Quincy Main is a historic post office at 47 Washington Street in Quincy, Massachusetts. It is a Classical Revival structure, two stories tall, built in 1909 out of limestone. It has corner pilasters, and a central entry section that projects slightly, also with articulating pilasters, and three recessed entryways. The building was originally built to house a variety of federal government offices, as well as providing the first purpose-built home for Quincy's main post office.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

The Seth Spear Homestead is a historic house at 47-49 Spear Street in Quincy, Massachusetts. The 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame house was built c. 1850 by either Thomas Drake or Seth Spear, who purchased Drake's property. Spear was one of the largest landowners in the immediate area. The house is a fairly typical Greek Revival structure, although it has had a large ell added to the rear (sometime before 1876), and its front portico dates to the 1890s. It now has 5 units rented out.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Quincy College (QC) is a public community college in Quincy, Massachusetts. It is an open admission commuter school that offers associate degrees, bachelor degrees, and certificate programs. It was founded in 1958 and enrolls approximately 4,500 students at campuses in Quincy and Plymouth, Massachusetts.

United First Parish Church is a Unitarian Universalist congregation in Quincy, Massachusetts, established as the parish church of Quincy in 1639. The current building was constructed in 1828 by noted Boston stonecutter Abner Joy to designs by Alexander Parris. The building was designated a National Historic Landmark on December 30, 1970, for its association with the Adams family, who funded its construction and whose most significant members are interred here. It is called the Church of the Presidents because two American Presidents, John Adams and John Quincy Adams, attended the church along with their wives, Abigail Adams and Louisa Catherine Adams. All four are interred beneath the church in a family crypt. The pew in which they sat is marked with a plaque and ribbon on the side.

The Adams Building is a historic commercial building at 1342–1368 Hancock Street in downtown Quincy, Massachusetts. Built in stages between 1880 and 1890, it is a distinctive example of Jacobethan architecture, and is one of city's oldest commercial buildings. It was owned for many years by members of the politically prominent Adams family. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Hardwick House is a historic house at 59–61 Spear Street in Quincy, Massachusetts. The 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame house was built in 1850s, and is one of the city's largest Greek Revival houses. Its massing, with side-gable roof, is more typical of the Federal period, but it has corner pilasters, a full entablature, and pedimented gables. The main entry has full-length side lights and is topped by an entablature. The house was built by Franklin Hardwick, owner of a local granite business.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Quincy Savings Bank building is a historic bank building at 1372 Hancock Street in Quincy, Massachusetts. Built in 1897, this four-story brick Classical Revival building is one of only two surviving 19th century commercial buildings in Quincy Center. Distinctive features include the granite quoining at the corners, and entrance portico with doubled Doric columns and a granite pediment. It was the fourth home for the bank, which was founded in 1845. Quincy Savings Bank was acquired by Citizens Bank in 1995. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Quincy ( KWIN-zee) is a coastal U.S. city in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, United States. It is the largest city in the county and a part of Metropolitan Boston as one of Boston's immediate southern suburbs. Its population in 2020 was 101,636, making it the seventh-largest city in the state. Known as the "City of Presidents", Quincy is the birthplace of two U.S. presidents—John Adams and his son John Quincy Adams—as well as John Hancock (a President of the Continental Congress and the first signer of the Declaration of Independence) and the first and third Governor of Massachusetts. First settled in 1625, Quincy was briefly part of Dorchester before becoming the north precinct of Braintree in 1640. In 1792, Quincy was split off from Braintree; the new town was named after Colonel John Quincy, maternal grandfather of Abigail Adams and after whom John Quincy Adams was also named. Quincy became a city in 1888. For more than a century, Quincy was home to a thriving granite industry; the city was also the site of the Granite Railway, the United States' first commercial railroad. Shipbuilding at the Fore River Shipyard was another key part of the city's economy. In the 20th century, both Howard Johnson's and Dunkin' Donuts were founded in the city.

Quincy Center is an area of Quincy, Massachusetts, centered along Hancock Street and covering the downtown area of the city. The area is a retail shopping locale and also includes the City Hall, the Thomas Crane Public Library, several churches, including the United First Parish Church, where John Adams and John Quincy Adams were buried, and numerous office buildings, including the headquarters of Stop & Shop. A memorial to the soldiers of World War I along with various statues of other great figures can be found in the vicinity. It is served by a large Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) station which includes subway access, bus service and a large parking garage.
