Nowy Świat (Polish pronunciation: [ˈnɔvɨ ˈɕfjat] ) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Rydzyna, within Leszno County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north of Rydzyna, 6 km (4 mi) east of Leszno, and 65 km (40 mi) south of the regional capital Poznań.

Rydzyna (pronounced RI-DZI-NA [rɨˈd͡zɨna]) is a historic town in western Poland, located in the southern part of the Greater Poland Voivodeship, 10 km south of Leszno, in the Leszno County, close to the main Poznań - Wrocław highway S5. The town's population is 2,446 (2006). It was the seat of King Stanisław Leszczyński during his first short reign from 1704 to 1709. Rydzyna is commonly referred to as "the pearl of the Polish Baroque" due to its preserved Old Town core and a high abundance of historical monuments.

Its seat is the town of Rydzyna, which lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south-east of Leszno and 69 km (43 mi) south of the regional capital Poznań. The gmina covers an area of 135.56 square kilometres (52.3 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 8,076 (out of which the population of Rydzyna amounts to 2,539, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 5,537).

The Rydzyna Castle [rɨˈd͡zɨna] is a Baroque castle in Rydzyna, Poland. It was built in the beginning of the 15th century by Jan of Czernina. At the end of the 17th century, Italian architects Joseph Simon Bellotti and Pompeo Ferrari erected the present Baroque castle on its ancient foundations. The first owners of the castle were the Leszczyński family. Together with a park and surrounding areas, it was one of the most splendid palaces in Great Poland.

It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) south of Osieczna, 10 km (6 mi) east of Leszno, and 61 km (38 mi) south of the regional capital Poznań. It was formerly in Leszno Voivodeship (1975–1998).

Gronówko [ɡrɔˈnufkɔ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Lipno, within Leszno County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) south-east of Lipno, 5 km (3 mi) north-east of Leszno, and 62 km (39 mi) south of the regional capital Poznań.
