Zárate, Buenos Aires

The Zárate–Brazo Largo Bridges are two cable-stayed road and railway bridges in Argentina, crossing the Paraná River (Paraná Guazú and Paraná de las Palmas) between the cities of Zárate, Buenos Aires Province, and Brazo Largo, Entre Ríos Province. The bridges have a suspended length of 550 m (1,804 ft), with a main span of 330 m (1,083 ft). Its pylons are 110 m (361 ft) high, and its deck depth is 2.6 m (8.5 ft). They were built between 1972 and 1977 on a design by Italian engineer Fabrizio de Miranda, and refurbished in 1998. Zárate–Brazo Largo links the north of Buenos Aires with the southern part of the Argentine Mesopotamia, and also, by extension, Argentina with Uruguay and Brazil. The road link has four lanes. The main span is 50 m (164 ft) over the water level of the Paraná, which allows the passage of very large ships. The bridge over the Parana de las Palmas is called "Bartolomé Mitre", while bridge over the Parana Guazú is called "Justo José de Urquiza".

Campana is a city in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is the seat of the Campana Partido. It is located about 75 km (47 mi) from the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, on the right-hand margin of the Paraná River. Its population is 94,333 inhabitants as per the 2010 census [INDEC]. Campana and Zárate make up an important industrial region. The city is linked to Zárate and the Zárate-Brazo Largo Bridge (and from there to Mesopotamia) by Provincial Route 6. The Pan-American Highway (Route 9) links Campana to Buenos Aires, Rosario, Córdoba and the north of Argentina. The village of Campana was officially created in 1875. It was on July 6, 1885 that Campana Partido was created as an offshoot of the Exaltación de la Cruz Partido. Campana has been since late 19th century and to a lesser degree today an important shipyard and port for passengers traveling to the remote Ibicuy Islands of the Paraná Delta. Japanese automobile manufacturer Honda opened a factory in 2011, where it has built the Honda City and Honda HR-V.

Capilla del Señor (Chapel of the Lord), is a city located 82 kilometres (51 mi) in the northern part of Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. It is the administrative seat of Exaltación de la Cruz Partido; which is bounded by the Zárate, Campana, Pilar, Luján, San Antonio de Areco, San Andrés de Giles partidos. It has been designated by the former president Carlos Saúl Menem as the "First National Historical Town" in Argentina. It is located 82 km from Buenos Aires, 24 km from Zárate, 27 km from Pilar, 30 km from Campana and Luján, 47 km from San Antonio de Areco, and 49 km from San Andrés de Giles.

Los Cardales is a village in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina, belonging to Exaltación de la Cruz Partido, of which capital is Capilla del Señor. Exaltación de la Cruz Partido is located between the Zárate, Campana, San Antonio de Areco, San Andrés de Giles, Luján, and Pilar partidos.

El Ojo (lit. 'The Eye') is an uninhabited circular rotating floating island located within a slightly larger circular lake in the Paraná Delta in the Buenos Aires Province, Argentina.

Belén de Escobar (or Escobar) is a city in the urban conurbation of Greater Buenos Aires in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. It is the administrative seat for Escobar Partido. The city has an important Japanese Argentine population.
