Jarocin County (Polish: powiat jarociński) is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Greater Poland Voivodeship, west-central Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and largest town is Jarocin, which lies 63 kilometres (39 mi) south-east of the regional capital Poznań. The only other town in the county is Żerków, lying 12 km (7 mi) north of Jarocin. The county covers an area of 587.7 square kilometres (226.9 sq mi). As of 2006 its total population is 70,390, out of which the population of Jarocin is 25,834, that of Żerków is 2,058, and the rural population is 42,498.

Gmina Jarocin is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Jarocin County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. Its seat is the town of Jarocin, which lies approximately 63 kilometres (39 mi) south-east of the regional capital Poznań. The gmina covers an area of 200.23 square kilometres (77.3 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 44,430 (out of which the population of Jarocin amounts to 25,834, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 18,596).

Jarocin (Polish pronunciation: [jaˈrɔt͡ɕin] ) is a town in west-central Poland with 26,253 inhabitants (2024), the administrative capital of Jarocin County in Greater Poland Voivodeship. Jarocin is a historical town, having been founded and granted city rights in the 13th century. The marketplace features a Ratusz town hall built between 1799 and 1804, which is now home to the Jarocin Regional Museum. The town also became famous in the 1980s thanks to the Jarocin Festival, one of the first rock-punk music festivals of the former Warsaw Pact and in Europe. The first event was organised in 1980.

Wilkowyja [vilkɔˈvɨja] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Jarocin, within Jarocin County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-east of Jarocin and 62 km (39 mi) south-east of the regional capital Poznań.
