Goor railway station

Goor (pronounced [ɣoːr]) is a city about 20 km west of Enschede in the Dutch province of Overijssel. It received city rights in 1263. Goor was a separate municipality until 2001, when it became a part of Hof van Twente. Goor was the site of a statue of the republican leader Joan Derk van der Capellen tot den Pol, but the statue was destroyed by royalists Orangists after the republican movement was crushed in 1787.

Hof van Twente (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɦɔfɑn ˈtʋɛntə] (listen)) is a municipality in the eastern Netherlands, province Overijssel. The municipality was established 1 January 2001 as the result of the merger of the municipalities of Diepenheim, Goor, Markelo, Ambt Delden, and Stad Delden.

Diepenheim is a small city in the Dutch province of Overijssel. It is located in the municipality of Hof van Twente, about 5 km southwest of Goor. Diepenheim was a separate municipality until 2001, when it became a part of Hof van Twente.

Markvelde is a hamlet in the eastern Netherlands. It is located in the municipality Hof van Twente, Overijssel. Until 2001, Markvelde was in the former municipality of Diepenheim. A part of the hamlet is in Berkelland, Gelderland.Markvelde is a statistical entity, but the postal authorities have placed it under Diepenheim. It was first mentioned in 1225 as Marcvelthe, and means "field near communal ground".In 1840, it was home to 190 people.Markvelde includes a community center, and a number of hog and cattle farms. The school closed in 2018.

Enter (Low German: Eanter) is a village in the eastern Netherlands. Enter is located in the municipality of Wierden, Overijssel, between Almelo, Goor, Bornerbroek and Rijssen. In 2021, it was home to 5,515 inhabitants.

Achterveld is a rural area located in the eastern Netherlands, in the municipality of Berkelland, Gelderland. It is the site of one of the few remaining wet heaths in the Netherlands, which is protected as a nature reserve.

Noordijk is a village northwest of Neede. It is part of the municipality of Berkelland (province of Gelderland, the Netherlands). It was first mentioned in 1188 as Nortwic, and means "northern neighbourhood". The postal authorities have placed it under Neede. In 1840, it was home to 821 people. Between 1910 and 1933, it had a railway station on the line Neede–Hellendoorn.

Rijssen-Holten (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌrɛisə(n) ˈhɔltə(n)] (listen); Sallaans: Riesn-Hooltn) is a municipality (Dutch: gemeente) in the eastern Netherlands, in the province of Overijssel. The municipality was formed in 2001 by the joining of the municipalities of Holten and Rijssen. The area of Holten belongs to the region of Salland and the area of Rijssen to the region of Twente.

Rectum is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Overijssel. It is part of the municipality of Wierden. The hamlet is located about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) north of Enter.
