Geldrop railway station

't Nupke is a windmill located on Molenakker 3 in Geldrop, North Brabant, Netherlands. Built in 1843 on a hill, the windmill functioned as a gristmill. The mill was built as a tower mill, and its sails have a span of 25.20 metres (82.7 ft). The mill has been a national monument (nr 16032) since 15 May 1968. The name of the mill comes from the piece of land it is located on.

Geldrop is a town in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is in the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo, around 5 km east of Eindhoven city centre. Geldrop was a separate municipality until 2004, when it merged with Mierlo.Geldrop is noted for having a neighbourhood with streets named after characters and elements from the works of J. R. R. Tolkien.The spoken language is "Geldrops", a distinct dialect within the East Brabantian dialect group and very similar to colloquial Dutch.

Zesgehuchten was a municipality in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It existed until 1921, when it became part of Geldrop. In 1972, part of its former territory was transferred to Eindhoven. The name Zesgehuchten means "six hamlets", referring to Gijzenrooi, Genoenhuis, Hulst, Hoog Geldrop, Hout, and Riel. Only Riel and Gijzenrooi exist as separate hamlets today; the other four have been incorporated into Geldrop's town limits.

Geldrop-Mierlo (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌɣɛldrɔp ˈmiːrloː] (listen)) is a municipality in the southern Netherlands, in the province of North Brabant. The municipality was created from the two former municipalities of Geldrop and Mierlo on 1 January 2004.

The Watermill at Kollen (Dutch: Collse Watermolen) is a watermill along the river Kleine Dommel, located on the Collseweg 1 in 't Coll, Eindhoven, in the province of North Brabant, Netherlands. First mentioned in the 14th century, the watermill burned down and was rebuilt in 1681. The watermill complex was made up out of two buildings, operating two undershot water wheels. One building was a gristmill, while another functioned as oil mill. The gristmill and oil mill are both still in functioning order and are used on a small scale. Vincent van Gogh lived nearby and made several paintings while in the area, including a painting of the mill in 1884. The watermill was listed as a national monument in 1972.

Heeze is a railway station in Heeze, Netherlands. The station opened on 1 May 1977 and is on the Eindhoven–Weert railway. The services are operated by Nederlandse Spoorwegen. The first station was 1 km away from its current location and was called Heeze-Leende. This station opened on 1 November 1913 and closed on 1 May 1977, although was closed for 2 months in 1945.

Heeze is a town in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Heeze-Leende, about 9 km southeast of Eindhoven. The Heeze Castle is located east of the town. Further east and to the north lies the Strabrechtse Heide.

First mentioned in the 11th century, the watermill burned down and was rebuilt in 1764. There have been several buildings in the watermill complex. One building was a gristmill and sawmill, while another functioned as oil mill and fulling mill. The mill operated two undershot water wheels, including the largest water wheel in the Netherlands. The gristmill is still in functioning order and is used on a small scale, the building of the former oil and fulling mill now houses a restaurant. A tannery was located in a building in the back and up to 1910 an inn was located in the miller's house. Vincent van Gogh lived nearby and made several paintings while in the area, including a painting of the mill in 1884. The watermill was listed as a national monument in 1972.

Tongelre is a borough of Eindhoven. It used to be a separate village to the east of Eindhoven. Waterways comprise most of its borders. It is bordered to the south by a canal, the "Eindhovensch Kanaal" to the borough of Stratum and Geldrop municipality. In the northwest the border with Woensel borough is formed by the river "Dommel" and to the east by the river "Kleine Dommel" (little Dommel) towards Nuenen municipality. Tongelre was a separate municipality until 1920, when it became part of the municipality of Eindhoven. Today it has nearly 20.000 inhabitants. It is the least urbanised part of Eindhoven.

It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in 1980 and retained that rating until 1990.Frans Gerrits was head chef in the time the restaurant had its Michelin star. Hans Huisman took over, but could not retain the Michelin star.Hostellerie du Château is succeeded by Hostellerie Vangaelen.

Tribeca is a restaurant in Heeze, Netherlands. It is a fine dining restaurant that is awarded two Michelin stars for 2017.Head chef of the restaurant is Jan Sobecki.The restaurant is housed in a building founded in 1916. Before Sobecki moved in, the building housed the restaurant Boreas, ran by head chef Nico Boreas. Sobecki, who used to work at the two starred Chapeau! that closed on 1 August 2016, could take over the restaurant smoothly. The restaurant was opened on 15 August 2016.
