The New Preston Hill Historic District encompasses a small rural 19th-century village center in the New Preston area of the town of Washington, in Litchfield County, Connecticut. Settled in the late 18th century, it is distinctive for its examples of stone architecture, include a rare Federal period stone church. The district, located at the junction of New Preston Road with Gunn Hill and Findlay Roads, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

St. Andrew's is a historic Episcopal church at 247 New Milford Turnpike (United States Route 202), in the Marbledale village of Washington, Litchfield County, Connecticut. Built in 1822, it is believed to be one of the first Gothic Revival style churches to be built in rural Connecticut. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

Both run along New Milford Turnpike (U.S. Route 202), with the village area running southwest to the town line of New Milford, Connecticut, and the gateway district running northeast.

The Captain Philo Beardsley House is a historic house on Beardsley Road in Kent, Connecticut. Built about 1780, it is a well-preserved example of an 18th-century saltbox, with a remarkably well-preserved interior. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The Hunt Hill Farm is a historic farm property at Upland and Crossman Roads in New Milford, Connecticut. Also known as the Hine–Buckingham Farms, the 137-acre (55 ha) property encompasses two farm properties that remained family-run from the 18th to early 20th centuries. The property includes one 18th and several 19th-century farmhouses and other outbuildings. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004. The farmstead is now home to The Silo at Hunt Hill Farm, an arts and culinary organization, while much of the land is held as conservation land by the town.

Mount Bushnell State Park is an undeveloped public recreation area located south of Lake Waramaug in the New England town of Washington, Connecticut. The state park provides 214 acres (87 ha) for hiking. The park had its genesis in the state's purchase of 70 acres in 1916. It is managed by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.

Lake Waramaug State Park is a 95-acre (38 ha) public recreation area located on the northwest shore of Lake Waramaug in the town of Kent, Litchfield County, Connecticut. The state park's first 75 acres (30 ha) were purchased by the state in 1920. The park offers swimming, fishing, picnicking, camping, and a launch for car-top boating and canoeing.

The Merryall Union Evangelical Society Chapel (also known as Merryall Union Chapel) is a historic church building on Chapel Hill Road in the Lower Merryall section of New Milford, Connecticut. Built in 1890, it is the town's best example of Carpenter Gothic architecture. It is used in the summertime for services by visiting ministers of diverse denominations, and hosts weddings and other private functions. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Lake Waramaug is a 656-acre (265 ha) lake occupying parts of the towns of Kent, Warren and Washington in Litchfield County, Connecticut, approximately 24 miles (39 km) north of Danbury. The lake is named after Chief Waramaug, who wintered in the area surrounding Lake Waramaug.

Sarah Noble Intermediate School is an intermediate school located in the historic town of New Milford, Connecticut. The school was named after Anglo-American girl Sarah Noble. In 1707, John Noble Sr., previously of Westfield, Massachusetts and his eight-year-old daughter Sarah Noble were the first Anglo-American settlers.
