St. Andrew's College, Aurora

Aurora High School is one of five high schools in Aurora, Ontario, and is one of two under the jurisdiction of the York Region District School Board. It serves students from Grades 9 to 12. Aurora High School has a strong French immersion program, and used to serve as the feeder school for many local French immersion public schools, however as of the 2019-2020 school year, the only French immersion elementary school is Lester B. Pearson PS in Aurora. This includes Aurora, Whitchurch-Stouffville, Oak Ridges, and King City

Sir William Mulock Secondary School is a secondary school located at 705 Columbus Way, off Mulock Drive in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. It is one of four high schools in Newmarket under the jurisdiction of the York Region District School Board (a fifth school, Sacred Heart Catholic High School, is under the York Catholic District School Board) and currently educates students from Grades 9 to 12. It opened in December 2001. Prior to that, most of its students went to Newmarket High School. The founding students have demonstrated the initiative of character traits by creating original 'character feathers' which can be found in the main hall. The Newmarket Citizens' Band conducts rehearsals at Sir William Mulock Secondary School.

Aurora GO Station is a railway station and bus station in the GO Transit network located on Wellington Street East between Yonge Street and Bayview Avenue in Aurora, Ontario, Canada. It is a stop on the Barrie line train service, and connects with York Region Transit local bus routes, and the GO Express Bus between Newmarket Bus Terminal and Union Station Bus Terminal.

St. Maximillian Kolbe Catholic High School is a high school in Aurora, Ontario, Canada. The school opened in September 2009, and is administered by the York Catholic District School Board. St. Maximilian Kolbe CHS's patron saint is Saint Maximilian Kolbe, a Franciscan priest from Poland that was incarcerated and executed at the Auschwitz concentration camp as a political prisoner during World War II.When the school opened in September 2009, there were less than 800 students in grades 9 and 10. In the 2010/2011 school year, St. Max had students in grades 9, 10, and 11. By the following school year, the school was teaching curriculum for grades 9 to 12 and graduated its first senior class in June 2012. The following June, St. Max graduated its first class of students that attended the institution from grades 9 to 12. The school crest, logo, colour scheme, and mascot were chosen and during the 2008/2009 school year, before the school's completion.

Dr. G.W. Williams Secondary School is one of five high schools in Aurora, Ontario and is one of two under the jurisdiction of the York Region District School Board. In 2005, there were approximately 1350 students from Grades 9 to 12. However, the enrolled has drastically reduced to 663 students. As of the 2017–2018 school year, enrolment increased to approximately 750 students.

According to the 2006 census, the average family income is $118,060 which is higher than the national average. Unemployment in the riding is lower than the national average at 3.6%. The Aurora Radial Railway Bridge Abutment is all that remains of a bridge that was built across the Grand Trunk Railway line in 1899 as part of the Metropolitan Street Railway Company which built its radial line from Toronto along Yonge Street through Aurora, ending at Lake Simcoe. The bridge was removed in 1922 when radial tracks were relocated to share the Yonge Street underpass under the Grand Trunk Railway line. The radial line eventually closed in 1930 with the tracks removed the following year. The abutment is the last large remaining artefact of the radial railway in Aurora.The abutment is described as a "sturdy, tapered, limestone pillar" with the "stone of the pillar is expertly laid and is typical of the construction methods of the era".The abutment is a protected historical structure located in Aurora, Ontario. It is designated under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act. The structure was designated by the Town of Aurora in late 2006.

Mulock GO Station is a planned GO Transit train station to be built by Metrolinx in Newmarket, Ontario as a part of the approved GO Expansion program. It will be built on Mulock Drive, between Yonge Street and Bayview Avenue. The station is to have approximately 550 parking spaces. A kiss and ride and a bus loop will also be provided at the station. Metrolinx expects the daily ridership at the station to be 3,891 in 2031.The station was originally proposed in 2015, as part of a larger list of potential future station sites. On June 24, 2016, Minister of Transportation Steven Del Duca announced that three new stations on the Barrie line corridor would be added as part of the RER plan: Kirby station in Vaughan, Mulock station in Newmarket, and Innisfil station in Innisfil. Metrolinx later approved the plan for the new stations on June 28, 2016.The Town of Newmarket also plans to create the Mulock Station Area Secondary Plan, a plan to provide development to the area around the future station. The Secondary Plan will provide places of residence, places of work, convenient connections to transportation, social services, and parks and outdoor areas in an approximate 79 hectares (195 acres) of area around the station site, with an estimated cost of C$240,000.
