In 2007, ClubLink was purchased by Tri-White Corporation, an investment firm run by K. Rai Sahi, an Indo-Canadian real estate entrepreneur.One of the major properties owned by the company (since 2005) is the Glen Abbey Golf Course. It is home to the Golf Canada and the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame and has hosted 25 Canadian Open Championships, more than any other course, with the first having been 1977. ClubLink Corp filed an application in October 2015 to redevelop the property into a residential community, with offices and retail stores. There was no provision for a golf course in the plan. The Town of Oakville Council responded in August 2017 by declaring the golf course a heritage site under the Ontario Heritage Act. This would make it more difficult for ClubLink to develop the area as it had planned, with 3,222 housing units and 122,000 square feet of retail and commercial space. Golf Canada was also concerned since it could not predict whether it could get the necessary permit to hold the Canadian Open at Glen Abbey in 2018.The company's plan to demolish the golf course was proceeding slowly in 2018 so the Canadian Open was held at this location. On 25 October 2018, Superior Court Justice Edward Morgan ruled that Clublink had a right to take its demolition application to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT), in spite of the town's previous denial of this step. City council subsequently voted to take the issue to the Ontario Court of Appeal. A report at that time clarified the owner's plan: building "3,222 residential units, including nine apartment buildings between nine and 12 storeys in height". The properties sold were port, railroad and retail operations in Skagway, Alaska.

St. Andrew's College (SAC) is an independent boarding and day school founded in 1899 and located in Aurora, Ontario, Canada. It is a university-preparatory school for boys in grades 5 to 12, with a focus on academic achievement, athletics, and leadership development. It is accredited by the Canadian Educational Standards Institute and is affiliated with other associations, including CAIS, CASE, NAIS and the International Boys' Schools Coalition (IBSC). The school's coat of arms was registered with the Canadian Heraldic Authority on August 15, 2006.St. Andrew's College was first situated at the northeast corner of Yonge Street and Roxborough Avenue in the Toronto neighbourhood of Rosedale, in a house named Chestnut Park that was previously owned by Sir David Macpherson. In 1905, the school moved within Rosedale to an area west of MacLennan Avenue, from Summerhill Avenue to Douglas Drive just north of Rosedale Field, in a large Collegiate Gothic structure. The school made its final move in 1926 to Aurora, where the current campus occupies a 126-acre (0.51 km2) site in a suburban environment. Its Georgian Revival architecture is built around the traditional quadrangle form. There are four boarding houses on campus, which is home to approximately half of the 651 boys. Many teaching faculty also live on campus.

The Glenville Hills Kames is a 345 hectare provincially significant Earth Science Area of Natural and Scientific Interest in Ontario, Canada. Located in the northeastern part of the township of King, it contains most of the eastern portion of Jokers Hill, site of the Koffler Scientific Reserve which conducts ecological research in the area. It consists of Late Wisconsinan deposits of Newmarket Till, from the Port Bruce Stadial, and Kettleby Till, from the Port Huron Stadial. These are overlain by kames and kame slopes, which are the dominant topographical features in the area, on the northern slopes of the Oak Ridges Moraine. It is an "excellent representation of kame moraine features", which are uncommon in the region. It is in the East Holland River subwatershed.The site also demarcates the southernmost advance of the Lake Simcoe sublobe during the Port Bruce Stadial, though most sediments were deposited by the Lake Ontario lobe.

Sir William Mulock Secondary School is a secondary school located at 705 Columbus Way, off Mulock Drive in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. It is one of four high schools in Newmarket under the jurisdiction of the York Region District School Board (a fifth school, Sacred Heart Catholic High School, is under the York Catholic District School Board) and currently educates students from Grades 9 to 12. It opened in December 2001. Prior to that, most of its students went to Newmarket High School. The founding students have demonstrated the initiative of character traits by creating original 'character feathers' which can be found in the main hall. The Newmarket Citizens' Band conducts rehearsals at Sir William Mulock Secondary School.

Dr. G.W. Williams Secondary School is one of five high schools in Aurora, Ontario and is one of two under the jurisdiction of the York Region District School Board. In 2005, there were approximately 1350 students from Grades 9 to 12. However, the enrolled has drastically reduced to 663 students. As of the 2017–2018 school year, enrolment increased to approximately 750 students.

Aurora GO Station is a railway station and bus station in the GO Transit network located on Wellington Street East between Yonge Street and Bayview Avenue in Aurora, Ontario, Canada. It is a stop on the Barrie line train service, and connects with York Region Transit local bus routes, and the GO Express Bus between Newmarket Bus Terminal and Union Station Bus Terminal.

The Koffler Scientific Reserve at Jokers Hill, is a biological field station belonging to and managed by the University of Toronto. It occupies roughly 348 hectares of old fields, wetlands, grasslands, and forest lands in King Township, on the western portion of the Oak Ridges Moraine and close to the town of Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. The site's ecosystems are home to many species of plants and animals.
