Bova's Bakery is a bakery in the North End of Boston, United States.

The Vermont Building is a historic building at 10 Thacher Street in the North End neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. The six-story brick and marble building was designed by Arthur Bowdith and Edward Stratton and built in 1904. Its construction was funded by Redfield Proctor, a United States Senator from Vermont, and one of the owners of the Vermont Marble Company. It originally housed retail establishments on the ground floor, and commercial, warehousing, and light manufacturing facilities on the upper floors, including facilities of the Vermont Marble Company. It now contains loft apartments. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Civic Service House was an American social settlement and a school for citizenship, located at 110-112 Salem Street, Boston, Massachusetts. Established October, 1901, by Pauline Agassiz Shaw as a center for civic education, recreation, and organization for the common good. The house set out to do specialized settlement work along civic lines, and purposed to reach a constituency approaching or within the privileges of citizenship. The character of work was that with adult immigrants, in clubs, classes, lectures and civic committees. The constituency included Jews, Italians, Poles and Irish. Improvement clubs, educational classes for men and women, occasional concerts and recreational features were available, but these were subordinate to the effort for civic betterment. Children's work was not included, and social features were made incidental to a program of study and service.

The Skinny House at 44 Hull Street in the North End of Boston, Massachusetts, US, is an extremely narrow four-story house reported by the Boston Globe as having the "uncontested distinction of being the narrowest house in Boston." According to the executive director of the Boston Landmarks Commission, "In a city where there are many narrow lots, this far exceeds the norm. ... As far as we know, it is the narrowest house in Boston." According to local legend, it was built as a spite house.

The North End is a neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, United States. It has the distinction of being the city's oldest residential community, where Europeans have continuously inhabited since it was colonized in the 1630s. Though small, only 0.36 square miles (0.93 km2), the neighborhood has nearly one hundred establishments and a variety of tourist attractions. It is known for its Italian American population and Italian-themed restaurants. The district is a pending Boston Landmark.

Copp's Hill Burying Ground is a historic cemetery in the North End of Boston, Massachusetts. Established in 1659, it was originally named "North Burying Ground", and was the city's second cemetery.

Old North Church (officially, Christ Church in the City of Boston), at 193 Salem Street, in the North End, Boston, is the location from which the famous "One if by land, two if by sea" signal is said to have been sent. This phrase is related to Paul Revere's midnight ride of April 18, 1775, which preceded the Battles of Lexington and Concord during the American Revolution. The church is a mission of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts. It was built in 1723 and is the oldest standing church building in Boston and a National Historic Landmark. Inside the church is a bust of George Washington, which Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette, reportedly remarked was the best likeness of the first president he had ever seen.

St. Leonard of Port Maurice, or more simply St. Leonard's, is a parish of the Roman Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Boston. It is noted for its historic parish church located at the corner of Hanover and Prince Streets in the North End of Boston, one of the oldest churches built by Italian immigrants in the United States. The church is a pending Boston Landmark.

The Great Brink's Robbery was an armed robbery of the Brink's Building at the east corner of Prince St. and Commercial St. in the North End of Boston, Massachusetts, on January 17, 1950. Today the building is a parking garage located at 600 Commercial Street.The $2.775 million ($31.3 million today) theft consisted of $1,218,211.29 in cash and $1,557,183.83 in checks, money orders, and other securities. It was then the largest robbery in the history of the United States and remained so until 1984. The robbery, skillfully executed with few clues left at the crime scene, was billed as "the crime of the century". It was the work of an eleven-member gang, ten of whom were later arrested.

The North Terminal Garage is a historic parking garage on 600 Commercial Street in the North End of Boston, Massachusetts. The three-story concrete garage was built in 1925 to a design by Little & Russell. It is a rare surviving parking facility from such an early date, and is further notable as the site of the Great Brink's Robbery on January 17, 1950. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. A plaque on the front of the building identifies it as the site on which "illuminating gas was first commercially manufactured in New England in 1828."
