The Jami Masjid and Islamic Centre is located in Birmingham, England. It includes a two-hall mosque, with a capacity of 2,000, and a separate building for the Darul Uloom, an Islamic school. Jami Mosque & Islamic Centre Birmingham (JMIC) was established in 1973 by a number of leading members of the Community with the purchase of 523 Coventry Road. Since then, the Mosque has grown significantly over the years through the purchase of adjacent properties. The centre houses 2 large prayer halls which can hold up to a thousand people and a separate prayer facility for sisters. They have an established tradition for providing Islamic education for children. Their evening maktab started in 1975, followed by our Hifz madrasa in 1983 and the full time Darul Uloom boys secondary school began in 1985. They have also been providing Islamic education for adults since 1992. They have a dedicated funeral services which has been operational from 1995.

Muntz Street is the popular name of a former association football stadium situated in the Small Heath district of Birmingham, England, taken from the street on which it stood. During its lifetime the ground was known as Coventry Road; the name "Muntz Street" is a more recent adoption. It was the ground at which the teams of Birmingham City F.C. – under the club's former names of Small Heath Alliance, Small Heath and Birmingham – played their home games for nearly 30 years. It also served as the headquarters of the Small Heath Athletic Club. The Muntz Street ground, then situated on Birmingham's eastern edge and bordered on two sides by farmland, opened in 1877. It was a field with terracing round it which provided standing accommodation for roughly 10,000 spectators. A wooden stand was built and the terracing raised to expand the capacity to around 30,000, but eventually it proved too small for the football club's needs. They built a new stadium nearer the city centre, St Andrew's, which hosted its first game in December 1906. Muntz Street, by then in a heavily built-up area, was demolished in 1907 and the land used for housing. The street of the same name remains.

The As-Salafi Mosque, also known as "The Salafi Mosque" or "Wright Street", is a Salafi mosque founded in 2002 and located in the Small Heath area of Birmingham, metres from the intersection of Muntz and Wright Streets and just behind Coventry Road. The mosque is contained within the same building and connected to the registered charity and Islamic materials publisher Salafi Publications and the "SalafiBookstore"[1] (an extensive online multimedia platform in relation to this exists, such as SalafiSounds.com and Sunnah.TV).According to the mosque director, Abu Khadeejah Abdul-Wahid, more than a thousand men, women, and children pray the Friday 'jum'ah' Prayers there, and the mosque also contains a primary school and an evening Qur'an memorization school. According to mosque flyers, there are usually Islamic-based lessons every day of the week as well as seasonal conferences which can attract around 3000 attendees from the UK and around Europe.During a 2002 season conference, the international media spotlight was set upon Masjid As-Salafi when a Swedish ex-criminal Kerim Chatty, who was due to attend the conference, was arrested in Sweden for carrying a firearm, presumably forgotten in his luggage and later charged with a firearms offence (not attempted hijacking). Abu Khadeejah Abdul-Wahid issued a public statement, stating that the individual was unknown to the organizers of the conference, and he then relayed the positions of Salafism in regard to terrorism based on the rulings (fatwa) of Islamic scholars like Saudi Arabia's Grand Mufti Abdul-Aziz ibn Abdullah Al Shaykh, Muhammad Nasiruddin al-Albani, Abd al-Aziz ibn Baz, Muhammad ibn al Uthaymeen, and Muqbil bin Hadi al-Wadi'i.Dawud Burbank (Abu Talhah) was a former senior lecturer at Masjid Salafi.Masjid Salafi is one of one-hundred and sixty-three mosques in the city of Birmingham, England. It is also one of six mosques in the area of Small Heath Park.

Central Jamia Mosque Ghamkol Sharif is a Sunni mosque in Small Heath area of Birmingham, England. The website Muslims in Britain classifies the Ghamkol Shariff Masjid as Sufi – Bareilvi.Construction began on 15 March 1992, during Ramadan. Each night throughout its construction, a hafiz recited the Quran on the construction site. Building work ended in 1996. It can fit up to 5,000 people at one time.The Masjid is named after a Sufi saint's place of residence, Ghamkol Sharif near Kohat, in northern Pakistan. Sufi saint Zinda Peer Sahib has followers in several countries, especially in the UK.

Small Heath railway station serves the areas of Small Heath and Sparkbrook in Birmingham, West Midlands, England. The station is managed by West Midlands Trains, which runs all the services. The former Great Western Railway station building, opened in 1863 as Small Heath and Sparkbrook on the main line from London Paddington to Birkenhead Woodside, is on a bridge over the tracks shared with Golden Hillock Road (the B4145). The A45 Small Heath Highway runs alongside. To the other side is the site of the former BSA factory. Nearby are the largely disused sidings which served local industry in the area. The station once had four platforms (both in an island configuration) in use, following the quadrupling of the line by the Great Western Railway in 1906, but only the western pair are now operational (as these are the only ones that trains can use to reach Moor Street & Snow Hill).

Holy Trinity Catholic School is a coeducational secondary school located in the Small Heath area of Birmingham, in the West Midlands of England.The school is named after the Trinity, the Christian doctrine that defines God as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. As a Catholic school it is under the jurisdiction of Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Birmingham. Previously a voluntary aided school administered by Birmingham City Council, in May 2019 Holy Trinity Catholic School converted to academy status. The school is now sponsored by the St Teresa of Calcutta Multi-Academy Company.Holy Trinity Catholic School offers GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for pupils.

Green Lane Masjid & Community Centre (GLMCC), is a mosque in Birmingham. It has been a registered charity in England since 2008. The Masjid occupies a prominent corner site in Green Lane, Small Heath, Birmingham. The complex includes prayer halls for men and women, a community hall, madrasah, library, shop, and some accommodation. It also provides funeral services to the local Muslim community. In a 2007 national competition to find the country's 'Model Mosque' run by the British Islam Channel, the mosque came second, behind the Madni Jamia Masjid.

Bordesley Green Girls' School is a secondary school and sixth form located in the Bordesley Green area of Birmingham, in the West Midlands of England.The school was previously "Arden Upper School" and before that it was "Bordesley Green Grammar Technical School for Boys" which had a long history having started as a Boys' Technical School in 1936. Much of the original building still exists, having a central quadrangle surrounded by three classroom corridors and one admin corridor. Separate Metalwork and Art workshops have been demolished. Today, it is a community school administered by Birmingham City Council. Bordesley Green Girls' School offers GCSEs, BTECs and OCR Nationals as programmes of study for pupils, while girls in the sixth form have the option to study from a range of A-levels and further BTECs.
