Ramamangalam

Pampakuda is a village and Panchayath part of Muvattupuzha Taluk. It lies between Muvattupuzha and Piravom towns. The village is on Highlands and consists of Rubber Plantations. Pampakuda is 10 km from Muvattupuzha. The Areekkal Waterfalls is situated here. Pampakuda is known for two famous churches of the Malankara Orthodox Church, Pampakuda Valiyapally (St. John of Ephesus Orthodox Church) and Pampakuda Cheriyapally (St. Thomas Orthodox Church). Tomb of the First Catholicose (Murimattathil Bava) of Malankara Orthodox Church was in Pampakuda Cheriyapally. Within the town, there are also 4 chapels and 3 kurisupallis (crosses) belonging to the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. There are also other churches including CSI, Pentecostal(AG, IPC etc), marthoma etc. The village is famous for contributing the Malankara Malpans of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church from Konattu Family, with the current being Malankara Malpan Konattu Dr. Johns Abraham Arch Chor-Episcopa.

Baselios Poulose Second (BPS) College Piramadom (Malayalam : ബസേലിയോസ് പൗലോസ്‌ സെക്കന്റ്‌ കോളേജ്, പിറമാടം) is located at Piramadom near Muvattupuzha, Ernakulam district of Kerala State, Republic of India. Kadamattom Church is an ancient Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, located in Kadamattom near Kolenchery, in Ernakulam district, Kerala, India.

Kottoor Church or Kottoor St. George Orthodox Syrian Church is an ancient chapel of Kolenchery Church. It is situated 0.5 km south of Kolenchery town, towards Karukappilly road and Muvattupuzha river. This Church is considered as the oldest of all structures founded in Kerala, India after Saint George. Kottoor church is believed to be the second oldest Christian structure constructed in Ernakulam District after Kottakavu Church at Paravoor. The Kottoor Church is believed to be founded in 5th century AD as a chapel of Pallippuram Church near Cherthala in the initial periods. From there, it was transferred as a chapel of Piravom Church at its establishment. In the 9th century AD, when the famous Kadamattom Church was established nearby, Kottoor Church became its chapel. At last, when the Kolenchery Church was constructed in the 6th century AD, Kottoor Church became its part as a chapel. The church is governed according to the 1934 constitution of Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, and is part of the Kandanad West diocese of the church. A metropolitan conducted Holy mass in the Kottoor church after a long gap of 90 years on 23 July 2017, after a recent (3 July 2017) verdict of Honourable Supreme court of India, ending the dispute that lasted past 100 years in the parent Kolenchery church.

Valakam, also known as Valakom is a village in the Ernakulam district of Kerala, India. It is located in the Muvattupuzha taluk, 8 kilometres (5 mi) west of the Muvattupuzha town. The National Highway 85 passes through Valakom.

Pazhoor Padippura, is situated 33 km towards the southeast of Kochi, near Piravom, Kerala. It is an astrology center linked to Pazhoor Perumthrikkovil temple. The temple is believed to be nearly 1,800 years old. A unique phenomenon observed here is that the Muvattupuzha river flowing west from east changes direction on reaching the temple. It retraces its path and flows east for a certain distance before diverting again to north and west. Had the river not changed its course, the temple would have been washed away.

The Marady Grama Panchayath consists of thirteen wards and the present panchayath president is Sheri O.P. Baby udf .

Aikaranad South is a village in Ernakulam district in the Indian state of Kerala. Aikaranad South is also known as Poothrikka. It is situated near to Kolenchery town and is part of a minor eastern suburb of Cochin.

Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College is a private medical college at Kolenchery near Kochi in the state of Kerala. It is a Christian minority institution established and administered by Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church (MOSC).
