Lake Weatherford is a lake located in Weatherford, Texas. The lake stands to the north-east of the city, north of Hudson Oaks and Willow Park. The Clear Fork of the Trinity River flows into the lake.

Willow Park is a city in Parker County, Texas, United States. The population was 4,936 in 2020.Willow Park was the location of Trinity Meadows Race Track, one of the first horse racing tracks opened once Texas legalized parimutuel betting. However, it was never seriously considered for upgrade to first-class status, and once Lone Star Park opened, Trinity Meadows Race Track closed. It is home to Squaw Creek golf course, located just off Ranch House Road. KTVT, Channel 11 in Fort Worth operates a 1 million watt doppler radar in Willow Park.

Trinity Meadows Race Track was a large American horse racing track located in Willow Park, Parker County, Texas. The track operated in the 1960s without gambling as Clear Fork Downs, and was later named Squaw Creek Downs. The new owner renamed the track Trinity Meadows and was one of the first horse racing tracks opened once Texas legalized parimutuel betting. The track opened in May 1991 with first year profit of $1.8 million and $1.3 the following year. Once nearby Lone Star Park opened, attendance plummeted and Trinity Meadows closed on August 6, 1996. The property was sold in 1997 at a bankruptcy auction. The structures have since been demolished.

Annetta North is a town in eastern Parker County, Texas, United States, on FM 5. The population was 554 in 2020.The Town of Annetta North split from Annetta and was incorporated on August 11, 1979. Phyllis M. Studer was elected as its first mayor. As of April 2018 the mayor is Robert Schmidt.Annetta North is a small town that is mostly residential and farmland. There is only one church building, and the only other public places in the town are a car repair shop and riding arena. Both the Clear Fork and the South Fork of the Trinity River pass through the town, as well as Burgess Creek and the Dixon Branch. O'Neal Cemetery is located within the town limits as well.

Carter is an unincorporated area and census-designated place (CDP) in Parker County, Texas, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.It is in the northern part of the county, spread over several low ridges and valleys draining south to the Clear Fork of the Trinity River and north to Walnut Creek, a tributary of the West Fork of the Trinity River. Texas State Highway 51 passes through the east side of the CDP, leading northeast 5 miles (8 km) to Springtown and southwest 10 miles (16 km) to Weatherford, the Parker county seat. Fort Worth is 29 miles (47 km) to the southeast.

Aledo High School is a public high school located in Aledo, Texas, United States and classified as a 5A school by the UIL. It is part of the Aledo Independent School District located in south central Parker County. Along with Aledo, students attend from the towns of Annetta and Annetta South as well as portions of Annetta North, Hudson Oaks, and Willow Park. In 2018, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency with a two star distinction in Mathematics and Social Studies.

Annetta is a town in Parker County, Texas, United States. The population was 3,041 in 2020.The town is named after the daughter of the founder of the town, a Mr. Fraser who built a station and general store in the area in the mid-1870s.

KZEE (1220 kHz Radio Hot Pepper 1220 AM) is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Weatherford, Texas, and serving the western section of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. It is owned by Tarrant Radio Broadcasters and airs a South Asian radio format featuring Bollywood music and talk. Most of the schedule is brokered programming, where hosts buys time on the station and may use it to advertise their clients while doing their shows. KZEE broadcasts by day at 1,600 watts. But at night, to protect other stations on 1220 AM, it reduces power to 200 watts. A directional antenna is used at all times. The transmitter is on Lucas Street at Eden Road in Weatherford.
