Log Čezsoški

Boka is a waterfall in the western part of Slovenia, near the Soča River. It begins at a karst spring and has two stages, of which the first is 106 meters (348 ft) high and 18 meters (59 ft) wide, and the second is 33 meters (108 ft) high.

Žaga (pronounced [ˈʒaːɡa]; Italian: Saga) is a settlement on the right bank of the Soča River in the Municipality of Bovec in the Littoral region of Slovenia. The turn for the road to Resia in Italy is in the middle of the settlement.

Srpenica (pronounced [səɾpɛˈniːtsa]; Italian: Serpenizza) is a village on the right bank of the Soča River in the Municipality of Bovec in the Littoral region of Slovenia. It includes the hamlet of Brezovo, which was abandoned after the Second World War.

Mount Prestreljenik (Italian: Monte Forato) is a 2,499-meter (8,199 ft) mountain in the western range of the Julian Alps, in the Tolmin region of Slovenia on the Italian–Slovenian border. It is the second-highest peak in the central part of the Kanin group. Prestreljenik is known for the Window (Okno), an erosion-arch feature located on its western ridge. This aperture is the source of both of the mountain's local endonyms; Prestreljenik means 'shot-through' in Slovene, and Forato is Italian for 'pierced' The peak is accessible via the eastern ridge from the Petar Skalar Lodge, or by a different route via either Bovec or (crossing the Italian border) Sella Nevea and the Celso Gilberti Chalet. In winter the peak is a popular destination for alpine skiers.

Vrtiglavica, also Vrtoglavica (both from Slovene vrtoglavica 'vertigo'), is a karst shaft on the Kanin Plateau, part of the Kanin Mountains, Western Julian Alps, on the Slovene side of the border between Slovenia and Italy. It has the deepest known pitch in the world, at 603 metres (1,978 ft). The cave formed in a glaciokarst landscape; that is, a karst landscape that was subjected to Pleistocene glacial activity.The total depth of the cave is 643 m (2,110 ft). It contains one of the tallest cave waterfalls in the world; the estimated height of the falls is 400–440 m (1,310–1,440 ft). It was discovered in the summer of 1996 by Italian speleologists and the bottom was reached on October 12, 1996, by a joint Slovene–Italian expedition.

Borjana (pronounced [bɔˈɾjaːna]) is a village in the Municipality of Kobarid in the Littoral region of Slovenia. It is located in the Breginj Combe.

Potoki (pronounced [pɔˈtoːki]) is a small village in the Upper Nadiža Valley in the Municipality of Kobarid in the Littoral region of Slovenia. It is located in the Breginj Combe.

The Municipality of Bovec (pronounced [ˈbɔːʋəts] or [ˈboːʋəts]; Slovene: Občina Bovec) is a municipality in northwestern Slovenia. Its center is the town of Bovec. As of June 2016, its mayor is Valter Mlekuž.

Čezsoča (pronounced [tʃɛˈsoːtʃa]; Italian: Oltresonzia) is a settlement in the Municipality of Bovec in the Littoral region of Slovenia. It includes the hamlets of Gorenja Vas (Slovene: Gorenja vas), Dolenja Vas (Dolenja vas), Jablanica, Kršovec, and Na Glavi.

Bovec (pronounced [ˈbɔːʋəts] or [ˈboːʋəts]; Italian: Plezzo, German: Flitsch, Friulian: Plèz) is a town in the Littoral region in northwestern Slovenia, close to the border with Italy. It is the central settlement of the Municipality of Bovec.
