Chalk Hills

Omid-e-Iran OITN (English: Hope of Iran) is an American television network, inaugurated in 1995. The original mission was to broadcast television content and news to the Iranian American community of Southern California, however the scope broadened to the international Iranian community. The network was founded by Nader Rafiee, who started their journalist career on IRTV. Omid-e-Iran has programming in English and Persian languages.

William Howard Taft Charter High School is a public school located on the corner of Ventura Boulevard and Winnetka Avenue in the Woodland Hills district of the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, California, within the Los Angeles Unified School District. The school gained affiliated charter status beginning with the 2013–2014 school year.

St. Mel is a Catholic church and elementary school located on Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California. St. Mel's parish was established in 1955. As of February 2020, Father Steve Davoren was the pastor, and Mary Beth Lutz was the principal of the school.

Los Angeles Pierce College, shortened to Pierce College or simply Pierce, is a public community college in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California. It is part of the Los Angeles Community College District and is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges. It serves 22,000 students each semester.The college began with 70 students and 18 faculty members on September 15, 1947. Originally known as the Clarence W. Pierce School of Agriculture, the institution's initial focus was crop cultivation and animal husbandry. Nine years later, in 1956, the school was renamed to Los Angeles Pierce Junior College, retaining the name of its founder, Dr. Pierce, as well as his commitment to agricultural and veterinary study. (Pierce still maintains a 225-acre (91 ha) working farm for hands-on training.)

The Old Trapper's Lodge is a California Folk Art display started in 1951 in the United States. It was designated a California Historic Landmark (No. 939.5) on March 25, 1985. The Old Trapper's Lodge art work is located in Los Angeles Pierce College's Cleveland Park at 6201 Winnetka Avenue in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles in Los Angeles County. The folk art is a life-size sculpture made by John Ehn (1897-1981), a self-taught artist who loved Old West culture. Ehn used his family as models and turned them into life-size outsider art Old West characters.

Pierce College station, signed as Pierce College/Winnetka, is a station on the G Line of the Los Angeles Metro Busway system. It is named after the adjacent community college of the same name, which is located on Winnetka Avenue, immediately across Victory Boulevard from the station. The station is located in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Winnetka.

De Soto station is a station on the G Line of the Los Angeles Metro Busway system. The station is next to Victory Boulevard, which parallels that section of the Orange Line. It is located in the western San Fernando Valley near the meeting of three largely residential municipal communities of the City of Los Angeles: Canoga Park, Winnetka, and Woodland Hills. It is named after the adjacent De Soto Avenue, which travels north-south and crosses the east-west busway route. Counting from the western terminus in Chatsworth, it is the sixth station on the Orange Line.

Warner Center is a master-planned neighborhood and business district development in the Canoga Park and Woodland Hills neighborhoods of the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, California.Warner Center, which began as a master-planned area, is designated as a Regional Center within the City's Canoga Park-West Hills-Winnetka-Woodland Hills Community Plan. Historically, Warner Center is generally bounded by Vanowen Street to the north, the Ventura Freeway to the south, De Soto Avenue to the east, and Topanga Canyon Boulevard on the west. The Warner Center 2035 Plan (adopted in December 2013) added the area between Vanowen and the LA River to the plan area, which comprises approximately 1,100 acres or 1.7 square miles.The area was originally planned to relieve traffic to and from downtown Los Angeles, as well as generate jobs in the San Fernando Valley. It was first envisioned in the late 1960s.

Warner Center station is an intercity bus station and former bus rapid transit station in the eponymous commercial development in the Woodland Hills neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, California, United States. When service began on the Orange Line (now the G Line) in 2005, Warner Center was the western terminus, and the only stop not on the dedicated busway. In 2012 an extension of the Orange Line opened to Chatsworth station, leaving Warner Center on a one-stop stub served by alternate buses. Service to Warner Center station on the Orange Line ended on June 24, 2018, replaced by a shuttle that stopped in several locations around the Warner Center area before offering passengers a transfer to the Orange Line at Canoga station, running every 10 minutes.The station remains standing as a transit hub for the area and is now served by several other bus lines.

Browns Canyon Wash, also known as Browns Canyon Creek, is a 10.3-mile-long (16.6 km) tributary of the Los Angeles River in the Santa Susana Mountains of Los Angeles County and across the western San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, California.

The Kroenke Warner Center complex in the Woodland Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, United States is a mixed-use complex consisting of an open-air shopping center with a proposed expansion to include restaurants, hotels and residences, along with a training facility for the Los Angeles Rams, an NFL football team. The 100-acre complex (40 ha) was assembled from a vacant shopping mall, an abandoned corporate office building, and The Village, an open-air lifestyle and retail destination (which continues to operate).
