Duplica (pronounced [duˈpliːtsa], German: Duplitza) is a former settlement in the Municipality of Kamnik in central Slovenia. It is now part of the town of Kamnik. The area is part of the traditional region of Upper Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.

Nožice (pronounced [ˈnoːʒitsɛ]) is a settlement on the right bank of the Kamnik Bistrica River south of Kamnik in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia. Administratively it belongs to the Municipality of Domžale.

Bakovnik (pronounced [ˈbaːkɔu̯nik], German: Bakounik) is a former settlement in the Municipality of Kamnik in central Slovenia. It is now part of the town of Kamnik. The Volčji Potok Arboretum was opened to the public in 1952. It originally formed part of the Souvan family estate in 1885, which was taken over by the University of Ljubljana in 1952 and legally declared a place of cultural and natural heritage of national importance. Now independent of the university, it is the most visited botanical garden in Slovenia and in recent years has become well known for its spring flower shows. The arboretum is primarily a botanical garden for woody plants, the only one in Slovenia.

Homec (pronounced [ˈxɔːməts]; German: Homez) is a settlement north of Domžale in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia.The parish church in the settlement is dedicated to the Nativity of Mary.

The Municipality of Nazarje (pronounced [ˈnaːzaɾjɛ]; Slovene: Občina Nazarje) is a municipality in Slovenia. It lies along the Dreta River. The seat of the municipality is the town of Nazarje. The area belongs to the traditional region of Styria and it is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region. The municipality was established on 3 October 1994, when the former larger Municipality of Mozirje was subdivided into the municipalities of Gornji Grad, Ljubno, Luče, Mozirje, and Nazarje. On 6 August 1998 the settlement of Prihova was transferred from the Municipality of Mozirje to the Municipality of Nazarje.

Zaprice Castle (Slovene: grad Zaprice, German: Schloss Steinbüchel) is a castle in Zaprice, now part of the town of Kamnik, Slovenia. The castle was first indirectly mentioned in 1306 and was originally built in the 14th century by the Dienger von Apecz family. It was rebuilt in the early 16th century by Jurij Lamberg, who gave it corner oriel windows and surrounded it with a wall with two towers, and gave it a German name: Steinbüchel. The castle is subsequently remembered as a meeting place for Kamnik's Lutherans. During the 17th and 18th century the castle was rebuilt in the Baroque style and enlarged into a more comfortable residential building. Today, the castle serves as a museum and a venue for cultural and educational events.
