Middlesex University, known primarily for its medical and veterinary schools, operated from 1914 until 1947, first in Cambridge, Massachusetts, later in Waltham, Massachusetts.

The Central Park Medical Unit (CPMU) is an all-volunteer ambulance service that provides completely free emergency medical service to patrons of Central Park and the surrounding streets, in Manhattan, New York City, United States.

The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS) at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts, United States was established in 1953 on a 235-acre suburban campus, located 9 miles outside of Boston, and is one of four graduate schools on campus.Brandeis University, founded in 1948, is named for the late U.S. Supreme Court Justice Louis Dembitz Brandeis. WBRS is a student-run community and college radio station in Waltham, Massachusetts, west of Boston. The broadcast license is held by the Trustees of Brandeis University and the studio and transmitter are located on the Brandeis campus. The Heller School for Social Policy and Management is one of the four graduate schools of Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. It is consistently ranked as one of the top ten schools of social policy and one of the top 50 graduate schools of public affairs in America since 2013 by the U.S. News & World Report.It is an AACSB and APSIA certified school. The school provides seven academic programs conferring both masters and doctoral degrees. It is also a leading research institution and is the home to 10 institutes and centers focused on both global and domestic social policy issues. Founded in 1959 as the university's first professional school, Heller is located on the Brandeis University main campus along with the Brandeis University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Brandeis International Business School, and the Rabb School of Continuing Studies.Prominent current faculty members at the Heller School include Stuart Altman, Peter Conrad, Anita Hill, Robert Kuttner, and Thomas Shapiro. Former U.S. Secretary of Labor Robert Reich previously taught at the Heller School. World Bank lists the Heller School as one of eight training institutions in the United States approved to host World Bank scholars pursuing graduate degrees. Heller School has strong links with AmeriCorps, Peace Corps, Tufts University and Northeastern University. The school has a cross-registration consortium with Boston College, Boston University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Tufts University. The school currently houses Our Generation Speaks, a fellowship program and startup incubator whose mission is to bring together young Israeli and Palestinian leaders through entrepreneurship.

The Frederick Flagg House is a historic house at 65 Fairmont Avenue in Waltham, Massachusetts. It is a 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure, four bays wide, with a rear roof sloping down to the first floor in a classic New England saltbox profile. The house was built in 1930 by Frederick Flagg, as a copy of the c. 1710 "Home Sweet Home" house in East Hampton, New York. The principal difference is that Flagg's replica has a more elaborate entry, framed by Doric pilasters and topped by a four-light transom and pediment. Its interior also replicates historic woodwork that was on display in New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Samuel Harrington House is a historic house on Old South Street in Waltham, Massachusetts. Now on the campus of Brandeis University, it houses the Rabb School of Continuing Studies. It was built in middle of the 18th century, and is one of the city's few houses to survive from that period. It remained in the Harrington family into the 20th century. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989, where it is listed at 475 South Street.

The Mercer Family Foundation is a private grant-making foundation in the United States. As of 2013, it had $37 million in assets. The foundation is run by Rebekah Mercer, the daughter of computer scientist and hedge fund manager Robert Mercer.Under Rebekah’s leadership, the family foundation invested about $70 million into conservative causes between 2009 and 2014. The foundation has also donated to groups that reject the scientific consensus on climate change.

Brandeis/Roberts station is an MBTA Commuter Rail station in Waltham, Massachusetts. It serves the Fitchburg Line and is located on the edge of the campus of Brandeis University. The station is fully accessible, with mini-high platforms serving both tracks.

The Nelson F. Libby House is a historic house at 147–149 Weston Street in Waltham, Massachusetts. This 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame house was built in 1891 by Nelson Libby, who owned a woodworking firm that probably manufactured the architectural parts used in its construction. It is an imposing Queen Anne Victorian, with the characteristic array of projecting gables and porches, as well as a turret. One projecting gable section in front has small round-headed windows in the gable, and there is a recessed porch on the third level under another gable.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Rose Art Museum, founded in 1961, is a part of Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts, US. Named after benefactors Edward and Bertha Rose, it offers temporary exhibitions, and it displays and houses works of art from the permanent collection of 9,000 objects. The museum has one of the largest collections of modern and contemporary art in New England. Since its inauguration, the Rose Art Museum has been recognized for its avant-garde and forward-thinking approach to modern and contemporary art.
