Bridges Street

Man Mo Temple or Man Mo Miu is a temple for the worship of the Civil or Literature God Man Tai (文帝) / Man Cheong (文昌) and the Martial God Mo Tai (武帝) / Kwan Tai (關帝). The two Deities were popularly patronized by scholars and students seeking progress in their study or ranking in the civil examinations in the Ming and Qing dynasties. There are several Man Mo temples in Hong Kong, the best known of which is the temple in Sheung Wan.

Ladder Street is a street in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, consisting entirely of stone steps. One of the most visited temples in Hong Kong, the Man Mo Temple, is on Hollywood Road at the corner of Ladder Street. There is also the oldest western hospital, the Tung Wah Hospital, and some funeral homes in the area. It is said that more than 100 years ago, when coolies died, their bodies were rested here for funeral services before they were carried back to their home villages back in China. Euphemistically, people call these shops as "long-living shops". Another old-fashioned slang is "four-and-a-half-piece", possibly referring to the number of pieces of wood used to make a coffin.

Hollywood Road is a street in Central and Sheung Wan, on Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. The street runs between Central and Sheung Wan, with Wyndham Street, Arbuthnot Road, Ladder Street, Upper Lascar Row, and Old Bailey Street in the vicinity. Hollywood Road was the second road to be built when the colony of Hong Kong was founded, after Queen's Road Central. It was the first to be completed. The Man Mo Temple was a place for trial in very early years.

Wing Lee Street (Chinese: 永利街) is a street in Hong Kong. It is located in Sheung Wan near Shing Wong Street, Bridges Street, Ladder Street and the Former Hollywood Road Police Married Quarters.

Bridges Street Market (Chinese: 必列啫士街街市) is located at No. 2 Bridges Street, at the corner of Shing Wong Street, in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. It is a Bauhaus style market building, originally opened in 1953, and scheduled to be renovated and open in 2018 as a news museum.

The Hong Kong Museum of Medical Sciences was established in 1996. It is in a renovated three-story Edwardian-style building, at 2 Caine Lane at the Sheung Wan, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. It is also referred to as Old Pathological Institute. The aim of the museum is to promote the collection and preservation of materials of historical interest relating to the development of the medical industry in Hong Kong. On occasion, exhibitions are held by the museum to present basic and advanced medical information and news. One of its major goals is to help raise public interest in the medical history of Hong Kong and teach them more about health and diseases.

Liang Yi Museum (Chinese: 兩依藏博物館) is a private museum of design, craftsmanship, and heritage. It is located in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. Started in the 1980s,three decades later, the collection has grown to over 400 pieces, Selected pieces have been exhibited in other museums, including the National Museum of History in Taiwan and the Palace Museum in Beijing. In addition to permanent galleries devoted to furniture, the museum presents a changing array of exhibitions, publications, education and public programmes.

Lascar Row is the combined name of two streets between Hollywood Road and Queen's Road Central in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, Upper Lascar Row (摩羅上街) and Lok Ku Road (Historically Lower Lascar Row). The immediate area is notable for its antique stalls.

Azura, stylised as AZURA, is a 177-metre-tall residential skyscraper in the Mid-Levels West area of Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. There are 50 floors with 126 apartments in total. Each floor consists of three units, ranging in size from 153 m2 (1,650 sq ft) to 195 m2 (2,100 sq ft), containing three or four bedrooms. The building was completed and occupied in the fourth quarter of 2012.

The Jervois is a 35-storey tower designed by Florent Nédélec and located on 89 Jervois Street in Sheung Wan, Victoria, Hong Kong.

Shing Wong Street (Chinese: 城皇街) is a street on the hill slope of Sheung Wan and Mid-Levels, Hong Kong. The street extends from Gough Street at its lowest to Caine Road highest. The street is one of ladder streets in Hong Kong, made of stone steps, in the section between Hollywood Road and Caine Road. Between Hollywood Road and Staunton Street, a large terrace at the street east erects two former staff quarters of Hong Kong Police Force built in 1950s, which have been converted into PMQ. The terrace was constructed for the old campus of Queen's College earlier, the largest building in Hong Kong at the time. The Staunton Street ends at Shing Wong Street and Bridges Street extends it west. Bridges Street Market is located their junction. Walking upstair are mixture of modern and pre-World War II buildings till the end of the Shing Wong Street at Caine Road.

Tai Ping Shan Street is a street marking the early colonial history in Hong Kong. Located at the north slope of Victoria Peak in Sheung Wan, the street starts east from a ladder street at the junction with Bridges Street and end west in Po Yan Street near Tung Wah Hospital. The street runs parallel to Hollywood Road. Today, Tai Ping Shan Street is well known for its contemporary art, with plenty of pop-up galleries and other specialty retailers offering their wares to shoppers passing by.
