North Hall (Gainesville, Florida)

Riker Hall built in 1950 is a historic building on the campus of the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, in the United States. It was designed by Guy Fulton in a modified Collegiate Gothic style to provide housing for the student body. Known as South Hall for the first five decades of existence, it was named for Harold C. Riker in 2000.

General James A. Van Fleet Hall is an historic building on the campus of the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, and completed in 1952. It was designed by Guy Fulton in a mild Mid-Century modern style as a Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) classroom and training facility for University of Florida students seeking commissions in the Air Force, Army, Marines and Navy. The building is named for U.S. Army General James Van Fleet, who served as an ROTC instructor at the university and as the head coach of the Florida Gators football team from 1923 to 1924.

The Stephen C. O'Connell Center, also known as the O'Dome, is a 10,500-seat multi-purpose arena located on the University of Florida campus in Gainesville, Florida. The facility is named for the sixth president of the university, Stephen C. O'Connell, who served from 1967 to 1973. The facility is located on the northern side of the university's campus, between its football field, Ben Hill Griffin Stadium at Florida Field, and the James W. "Bill" Heavener Complex athletic training center. The entire facility was known as the O'Connell Center from 1980 until 2016. The building underwent a major $64.5 million renovation / reconstruction during that year, and Exactech, a Gainesville medical firm, signed a $5.9 million, 10-year naming rights deal for the main arena, which was officially renamed the Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.

The Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering is the largest professional school, the second largest college, and one of the top three research units at the University of Florida. The college was founded in 1910, and in 2015 was named in honor of Herbert Wertheim – a serial inventor, philanthropist and UF Distinguished Alumnus. Weil Hall (formerly the Engineering Industries Building) is a historic building at Stadium Road and Gale Lemerand Drive (North-South Drive) on the University of Florida campus in Gainesville, Florida, United States. On June 24, 2008, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.Built in sections between 1947 and 1949, it was designed by the Florida Board of Control's third architect Guy Fulton in the Collegiate Gothic architectural style begun by William Augustus Edwards the first BOC architect in 1905 and continued by his successor Rudolph Weaver, the second BOC architect. It was to be, however, one of the last buildings on campus to remain true to that style. It was named for Joseph Weil, dean of the College of Engineering.Weil Hall houses the College of engineering deans and also various departments. Civil Engineering and Industrial Engineering are the two predominant colleges that occupy the building. Every year the college's students host an event called "Pig Fest" were the two department's students celebrate the school year's end and compete in various games for dominance and kingdom of Weil Hall.

Alfred A. McKethan Stadium at Perry Field was the college baseball stadium of the University of Florida, serving as the home field for the Florida Gators baseball team until being replaced by Condron Ballpark in 2020. McKethan Stadium was located on the university's Gainesville, Florida campus, in close proximity to the university's indoor sports arena, the Stephen C. O'Connell Center, and its football stadium, Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

It was originally known as Florida Field when it opened as a 22,000-seat facility in 1930, and it has been expanded and renovated many times over the ensuing decades. Most of the university's athletic administrative offices, along with most football-related offices and training areas, have been located in the stadium since the 1960s. Most of the football program's facilities are slated to move to a nearby $60 million building that began construction in 2020. Ben Hill Griffin Stadium is the largest stadium in Florida, the 12th largest stadium in the United States, and the 21st largest stadium in the world, as measured by its official seating capacity of 88,548 – though, it has often held over 90,000 for Florida's home football games.

The College of Journalism and Communications (CJC) is an academic college of the University of Florida. The centerpiece of the journalism programs at UF is WUFT, which consists of both a WUFT (TV) Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) Public television and WUFT-FM NPR public radio station. The commercial broadcasting radio station, WRUF, is also one of the oldest stations in the state.

Hume Hall, built in 2002, is the Honors Residential College of the University of Florida, located on the western side of the university's Gainesville, Florida campus.The current structure is the second at the university to bear the name. The original Hume Hall was designed by Guy Fulton and built on the same site in 1958 as a conventional dormitory. It was demolished in 2000 to allow for construction of the current facility. The University of Florida Honors Program offers housing for freshmen at Hume Hall. This residentially-based academic community consists of two residence halls that integrate the housing needs of Honors residents with facilities, staff, and programs in support of the Honors Program. Hume Hall can be accommodate 608 residents, and is located in the heart of the University of Florida campus. The facility has a commons building, a number of multimedia-capable classrooms, faculty offices with an on-site academic advisors, a large activity room, and an information desk.Hume Hall is named for Harold Hume, dean of the College of Agriculture, provost, and interim president of the university.

The J. Wayne Reitz Union is the student union of the University of Florida, located on Museum Road on the university campus in Gainesville, Florida, United States. The union was named in honor of J. Wayne Reitz, the fifth president of the university, who served from 1955 to 1967. The building, which was originally completed in 1967, contains dining facilities, meeting rooms, offices, a computer lab, a game room, an outdoor amphitheater, retail stores, a movie theater and a hotel. East of the Reitz Union is the Constans Theatre, a performing arts venue. Although the two buildings are connected, the Constans Theatre is not managed by the union.

The Florida Gymnasium (commonly known as the "Florida Gym" and formerly nicknamed "Alligator Alley") is a historic building located on the campus of the University of Florida (UF) in Gainesville. It opened in 1949 as a 7,000-seat multi-purpose arena and served as the home court of the Florida Gators men's basketball team and other UF indoor sports programs for over thirty years, acquiring the nickname of "Alligator Alley" during that time.The Stephen C. O'Connell Center replaced the Florida Gym as the university's main indoor facility for intercollegiate sports upon its opening in 1980. The old gym was gradually repurposed for use by the University of Florida College of Health and Human Performance (HHP) in the following years, with a series of renovations and rebuilding projects converting most of the interior space into modern classrooms, laboratories, offices, and other educational facilities by the mid-1990s. The center of the gym still features a basketball court which is used for small assemblies and HHP classes and activities.

The University of Florida College of Health and Human Performance is an academic college of the University of Florida. The College of Health and Human Performance was founded in 1946 and is located on the university's Gainesville, Florida campus. The college has four departments and four research centers. The college is unique in that the majors that are offered are inter-disciplinary in nature. As of 2021, there were more than 2,900 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the college. In 2022 the College of Health and Human Performance generated $10 million in research expenditures.
