James Owens Farm is a historic home and farm at Bristol, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. The home was built by successful tobacco farmer James Owens and is a large mid-19th century, two-story brick cross-gable late Greek Revival/Italianate dwelling. Outbuildings are all of frame construction and include an early 19th-century cornhouse, an early 19th-century tobacco barn, a mid-19th-century board-and-batten kitchen, carriage house, and smokehouse, and a late 19th-century chicken house.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

Bristol is an unincorporated community in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States. Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary (a stop on the Patuxent Water Trail) and the colonial town of Pig Point (alternately referred to as Bristol Landing and Leon at times) are on the Patuxent River waterfront portion of Bristol. Pig Point saw War of 1812 action and was the county's largest steamboat port on the Patuxent in the mid-19th century. Pig Point is a very significant Native American Early Archaic Period archaeological site.The Chesapeake Beach Railway was completed in 1899 through the southern part of Bristol or "Pindell"; ruins of the Pindell Station and its general store remain. The James Owens Farm, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and the southern terminus of the Stephanie Roper Highway portion of Maryland Route 4 are also located in Bristol. In the mid-twentieth century, the segregated Bristol Elementary School was located in the northern part of town, three-quarter mile southeast of Waysons Corner and a half mile south of the crossroad village of Drury. The school in 1953 published a history of Bristol (largely reprinting a 1927 Bristol town history from the Annapolis Capital newspaper). The following year it was enlarged and renovated, growing to 200 students (and four teachers and a heating and rodent problem) by 1969 after the county was ordered to desegregate schools in 1966.

Quarter Place is a historic home located at Lothian in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States. It was built in 1860 and is a 2+1⁄2-story Gothic Revival–style frame dwelling. It consists of a main block with a 2-story rear wing. The main block is three bays wide with a central entrance and features a central cross-gable roof.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

St. James' Parish is a historic church located on Solomons Island Road in the hamlet of Tracys Landing, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States.

Burrages End is a historic home near Lothian, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States. It is a small 1+1⁄2-story frame house with gambrel roof. The site is noteworthy for containing a number of buildings from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The house was constructed c. 1780, replacing an earlier house on the site, according to a 1982 study by the Architectural Research Department of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, presumably by Col. John Weems who purchased the property in 1764. Weems was the construction contractor for the 1762-65 St. James' Church 3/4 mile to the south. At Weems' death in 1794, Burrages End was sold to Thomas Sellman and remained in that family's hands until 1946. A Weems-Sellman cemetery is on site. Historic outbuildings include a slave quarter and a tobacco barn. In the late 1700s, Major John Welsh built a hall-and-parlor plan house with a "new hall" addition, both replaced c. 1780. "Although often assigned a late 17th century date, the present dwelling is a later house, built c. 1780." The property was patented in 1665 to John Burrage, who sold it to Welsh in 1668.Burrages End was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

Tracy's Landing Tobacco House No. 2 is a historic tobacco barn at Tracy's Landing, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. It is a 24’3" by 45’2" heavy timber framed tobacco barn with a construction date of 1805. It is the earliest identified tobacco house extant in Anne Arundel County, and is one of the earliest recorded examples of this type of agricultural building in Tidewater Maryland.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Wilson is a ghost town in Calvert County, Maryland, United States. Wilson was located in northern Calvert County along what is now Maryland Route 260, 2.15 miles (3.46 km) northeast of Dunkirk. Wilson appeared on USGS maps as late as 1901.

Maidstone is an old southern Maryland plantation located in Owings, Calvert County, Maryland. The oldest extant part of the house was built in 1751 by a yeoman planter, Lewis Lewin on or near the site of an earlier wood structure., though a brick in one of the chimneys is dated 1678.
