Mehrabad International Airport

Civil Aviation Technology College is a college in Tehran, Iran, specializing in civil aviation. It is also called the Higher Education Center because it is a university candidate. Civil Aviation Technology College Established in 1949, Civil Aviation Technology College is the pioneering center in the field of civil aviation Training. The College conducts its training programs in line with rules & regulations of Iranian Ministry of Higher Education and also requirements of aviation industry.Founded in the 1949, it is the most accredited aviation college in Iran which also accepts students by UEE. Civil Aviation Technology College is located on Meraj Street at the Mehrabad International Airport.

Mehrabad Airport Terminal 1&2 Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 4's Mehrabad Branch, branching off from Bimeh Metro Station. It is located in Mehrabad Airport serving Terminals 1 and 2. Terminals 1 and 2 have the following function: Terminal 1 is only used for departures of Kish Air and Zagros Airlines. Terminal 2 handles all flights of Iran Air, Iran Air Tours, Meraj Airlines, Qeshm Air and Ata Airlines and for arrivals of Kish Airlines and Zagros Airlines, but all the Jet bridges are only being used for Meraj Airlines. It also used for all cargo operations.

On 15 March 1974, Sterling Airways Flight 901, a Sud Aviation Caravelle operated by Sterling Airways, experienced a landing gear failure as it was taxiing for take-off. The right main landing gear collapsed, which caused the right wing to contact the runway, rupturing a fuel tank and igniting the spilt fuel. The fire killed 15 passengers and injured 37 passengers and crew. The aircraft had been chartered by tour company Tjæreborg to take tourists around Asia, and was on the way back to Copenhagen when the accident happened. The accident came only two years after the crash of Sterling Airways Flight 296.

Bimeh Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 4. It is located on Lashgari Expressway next to Shahrak-e Bimeh. It is between Meydan-e Azadi Metro Station and Shahrak-e Ekbatan Metro Station. It is also the terminus of the Mehrabad Airport branch of the line, having a special distinct fleet of trains running along it.

Shahrak-e Shahid Arman Aliverdi Metro Station is a station of Tehran Metro Line 4. It is located in Shahrak-e Ekbatan. It is located between Bimeh Metro Station to the southeast and Eram-e Sabz Metro Station to the north.

Mehrabad Airport Terminal 4&6 Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 4's Mehrabad Branch, branching off from Bimeh Metro Station. It is located in Mehrabad Airport serving Terminal pairs 4 and 6. Terminals 4 and 6 have the following function: Terminals 4 and 6 handle departures (Terminal 4) and arrivals (Terminal 6) for airlines other than Iran Air, Iran Air Tours, Meraj Airlines, Qeshm Air, Ata Airlines, Kish Air, Chabahar Airlines and Zagros Airlines.

The Rah Ahan Stadium (Persian: استاديوم راه آهن) is a multi-purpose stadium in Tehran, Iran. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Rah Ahan F.C., who currently play in Iran's Premier Football League.The stadium holds 12,000 people.

Ekbatan Town (Persian: شهرک اکباتان, Šahrak-e Ekbātān) is a planned town in western Tehran, Iran. It is located approximately five kilometers west of central Tehran.

The Geological Survey and Mineral Exploration of Iran or in brief GSI is a government agency responsible for conducting geological and mineral surveys throughout the country, collecting the results of activities carried out in this field, establishing coordination, preparing and publishing geological maps of Iran. Shademan Metro Station is a station on Tehran Metro Line 2 and Line 4. It is located in the junction of Azadi Street and Azarbayjan Street. It is between Navvab Metro Station and Sharif University Metro Station. Its name was changed from Azadi Station to Shademan Station as it is located on Shademan Jct. on Azadi Street to avoid confusion with Meydan-e Azadi Metro Station located at the famous Azadi Square.

Apadana Residential Society (Persian: شهرک آپادانا) is a planned residential society in the northwest of well known Azadi square in Tehran, Iran. It is located between Azadi Square and Ekbatan Complex.

Azadi Square (Persian: میدان آزادی Meydāne Āzādi meaning "Freedom Square" or "Liberty Square"), formerly known as Shahyad Square (Persian: میدان شهیاد Meydāne Ŝahyād meaning "Remembrance of [the] Shah Square"), is a mainly green city square in Tehran, Iran. It hosts as its centerpiece the Azadi Tower. The tower and square were commissioned by Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the last Shah of Iran, to mark the 2,500th year of the foundation of the Imperial State of Iran.
