South Florida Fair

The Expo Center at the South Florida Fairgrounds (also known as the South Florida Fair), formerly the Americraft Expo Center, is a 5,000-seat multi-purpose venue in West Palm Beach, Florida, located at 9067 Southern Boulevard, within a few miles of Royal Palm Beach, Wellington and Loxahatchee. With over 150,000 square feet (14,000 m2), it hosts public and consumer oriented events and shows, as well as special functions, including the South Florida Fair, many craft shows, and meetings. It has also hosted several WWE house shows. It was originally built in 1990 as a 70,000-square-foot (6,500 m2) facility and was expanded to its current size in 2002. 650,000 people attend various events at the Expo Center on an annual basis. Besides the 150,000 ft (46,000 m). Expo east an Expo West buildings, there are 10 other smaller exhibit buildings that range in size from 3,625 to 11,490 square feet (1,067 m2), along with the Perfect Vodka Amphitheater, the Agriplex, and Yesteryear Village. These events constitute 250 event days.

Palm Beach Speedway was a motor sports racing venue located in West Palm Beach, Florida. The speedway hosted a total of 7 NASCAR races between January 20, 1952 and December 11, 1956. Dick Rathman had the most poles at 3, and Herb Thomas captured the most wins with 4. The half mile dirt oval was built in 1949, paved in 1955 and torn down in 1984. Palm Beach Speedway's inaugural NASCAR race was also the season opener for the Grand National 1952 season. Six Thousand fans gathered for the 100 mile event, and looked on as Tim Flock started on the pole, and reached the checkered flag ahead of 26 other drivers. Flock captured his 9th career win driving a Hudson Hornet owned by Ted Chester. Lee Petty finished second and Tim's brother Fonty Flock finished third. Pancho Alverez was driving a 1951 Olds 88, but was catapulted into the air landing on the roof to flatten the car. Fans cheered when Alverez crawled out uninjured. The final NASCAR race at the track came on March 4, 1956 as Billy Meyer taking the final checkered flag. The 100 mile event was marked by a disqualification which would play a part in final finishing order. Al Keller beat Billy Meyer to the checkered flag, but was found to running with modified pistons, and Meyer was awarded the victory. Buck Baker and Herb Thomas grabbed the second and third spots respectively. The iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre is a 20,000-seat open-air (Approx. 8,000 seats under cover and approx. 12,000 lawn seats) music venue in West Palm Beach, Florida. The facility, owned by the South Florida Fairgrounds, is a modern amphitheatre used primarily for concerts and other performances. The loading dock and backstage area is sometimes used for concerts that are general admission standing room only (mostly heavy metal concerts), while the amphitheatre stage is used as the backstage area in these situations.

The King's Academy is a private, Christian, coeducational, pre-kindergarten through grade twelve, college-preparatory school located in West Palm Beach, Florida. Established in 1970, it is run by an independent board of governors.

Berean Christian School is a private school in West Palm Beach, Florida. Berean Christian School is a ministry of Grace Fellowship, a local independent church. It was established in 1964. Berean Christian School also offers numerous sports such as volleyball, swimming, cross-country, track, soccer, girls basketball, boys basketball, cheerleading, and most of all football. Their home mascot is the Bulldog. Berean Christian School exists in partnership with parents and the local church to submerse students into a Biblically-based Christian world view. The grades range from preschool to 12th.

Golden Lakes was a census-designated place (CDP) in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. The population was 6,694 at the 2000 census.

Royal Palm Beach High School (RPBHS) also known as Royal Palm is a public high school in Royal Palm Beach, Florida with an enrollment of over 2,000 students. The school is a part of the School District of Palm Beach County.

Palm Beach Central High School is a high school located in Wellington, Florida in the Palm Beach County School District. Opened in 2003, Palm Beach Central currently has over 3,000 students (2,966 in the 2019-20 school year) enrolled in grades nine through twelve. The school offers a wide variety of athletics, arts programs, and extracurricular activities, as well as four distinct tracks which students must apply for. The school's mascot is the bronco, or bucking horse.

Okeeheelee Park is located in West Palm Beach, Florida, United States. It is managed by the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department. The original site for the park was purchased in 1973, and at the time only about 10% (90 acres) of the area was in its natural state. After 23 years of reclamation, the park was completed in June 1996. Covering over 1,700 acres (690 ha), the park encompasses two lakes; with access for boating, fishing, water skiing, and radio controlled boating. Okeeheelee's construction was split into 6 phases, however some did not make it, such as phase 5 which was to be a water park. The park has amenities for many types of sports, including a 27-hole golf course, with pro shop and clubhouse, baseball fields, tennis courts, and a BMX biking area. There is both a fitness trail and bike trail that snakes between the lakes, with many pavilions and picnic areas along the way. At the north end of the park, situated on 90 acres (36 ha) of original natural habitat, is the Okeeheelee Nature Center. Finished in 1996, it consists of more than 2 miles (3.2 km) of trails, which travel through the pine flatwoods habitat. The trail includes interpretive signs, trailside benches, and an elevated blind. There is also a Butterfly Garden, and marsh viewing blinds. Inside are live animal exhibits, interactive displays, and a gift shop. There are also educational programs for both adults and children. There is a dog park in Okeeheelee Park called Pooch Pines. There are three areas, two for large dogs, and one for small dogs. The hours are the same as the rest of the park, except it is closed from noon to 3 p.m on Wednesdays for maintenance.

The Riddle House is an old Edwardian house located in Palm Beach County, Florida. The house was built in West Palm Beach, Florida in 1905 by some of Henry Flagler's hotel construction workers. Originally known as "Gatekeeper's Cottage", the house was home to the groundskeeper of Woodlawn Cemetery. By 1920, the house became privately owned by Karl Riddle, a city manager and superintendent of West Palm Beach. He is the namesake of the house. The house was eventually dismantled and moved to Yesteryear Village in 1995, a historical park within the South Florida Fairgrounds. The building was featured in an episode of Ghost Adventures in 2008.

Royal Palm Beach is a village in southeast Florida, located within Palm Beach County. The population was measured at 34,140 in the 2010 census. It is part of the Miami Metropolitan Area. Despite its name, the village is located approximately fifteen miles inland from the Atlantic Ocean. Royal Palm Beach is known for its many parks and general mission to protect green space, as evidenced by the recent acquisition of 190 acres (0.77 km2) to create a master central park and the development of 25 acres (100,000 m2) preserved into a passive bird watching and nature park. The village offers a variety of activities for the outdoor and sports enthusiast including soccer, basketball, tennis, Pop Warner youth football and cheerleading, senior activities, and year-round golf programs. The public schools within the Village consist of "A"-rated elementary and middle schools and there are numerous private schools offering classes from pre-kindergarten through high school.

The Mall at Wellington Green is a two level super-regional shopping mall in Wellington, Florida. The mall features Dillard's, JCPenney, Macy's, City Furniture, Ashley Furniture, CMX Theaters and over 170 stores and eateries. As one of the last malls built in both Palm Beach County and all of South Florida, it opened in 2001 by Taubman Centers, and was sold to Starwood Retail Partners in 2014.
