Harrison is a town in Cumberland County, Maine, United States. Harrison is included in the Lewiston-Auburn, Maine metropolitan New England city and town area. The population was 2,447 at the 2020 census. A historic resort area, Harrison straddles Long Lake and Crystal Lake. It is part of the Portland–South Portland–Biddeford, Maine metropolitan statistical area.

The Former Caswell Public Library is an historic building at 42 Main Street in Harrison, Maine. Built in 1908-09, it is one of the small community's most architecturally distinctive buildings, designed in the Romanesque Revival style by a local architect. It is named for Daniel Caswell, a generous benefactor to the library, and housed the local public library until 2004. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. The building is presently vacant.

The Lakeside Grange No. 63 is a historic Grange hall on Main Street in Harrison, Maine. Built in 1905, it has served as a major community meeting space since then, notably surviving a 1907 fire that destroyed part of the town's center. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

The Bear River is a 2.7-mile-long (4.3 km) tributary of Long Lake in the U.S. state of Maine. It originates at the outlet of Bear Pond in the town of Waterford in Oxford County, then flows southeast into the town of Bridgton in Cumberland County and finally the town of Harrison, where it reaches Long Lake. Via Long Lake, the Songo River, and Sebago Lake, the Bear River is part of the Presumpscot River watershed, flowing to Casco Bay on the Atlantic Ocean.

North Bridgton is a village in the town of Bridgton in Cumberland County, Maine, United States. It is located just west of Long Lake, and just south of the town of Harrison. In 1768, the undeveloped land was granted by the Massachusetts General Court to a group of proprietors led by a man named Moody Bridges. Settlement began in 1770, when a tavern was built.It is home to Bridgton Academy, an all-boys college-preparatory school. It was salvaged by a private collector and is undergoing restoration by the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum in Portland.

Bridgton Academy is an all-male college preparatory in Bridgton, Maine. Founded in 1808, the school sits at the northern tip of Long Lake in North Bridgton, Maine. The school has been NEASC accredited since 1934, making it one of the oldest accredited schools in the country. The school is also a member of the National Association of Independent Schools. The 55-acre (22 ha) campus hosts twenty four different buildings. The majority of classes are held in the new Humanities Center. There are seven dormitories on campus ranging in capacity from 18-40 students. In recent history, the school has expanded its number of two-year students, allowing for students to complete their high school diploma at Bridgton, as well as spending their second, prep, year at the Academy.

The Farnsworth House is a historic house on Maine State Route 117 in North Bridgton, Maine. Built in 1825 for a local doctor, it is a particularly sophisticated example of Federal period architecture for a remote inland setting, featuring well-preserved interior woodwork. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The McWain-Hall House is a historic house on McWain Hill Road in Waterford, Maine. It is a typical vernacular Federal-style farmhouse, which is not only one of the oldest houses in the area, but is also locally significant as the home of David McWain (1752-1825), one of the town's first settlers. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987

Walker Memorial Hall is a historic community meeting hall on Highland Road in Bridgton, Maine. Built in 1892 to a design by Frederick A. Tompson, it is a well-preserved local example of eclectic Queen Anne architecture, and continues to be a significant community meeting center, hosting social events and meetings of local organizations. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Built in 1882, it is a fine example of late Italianate architecture, and one of the town's most architecturally sophisticated commercial buildings. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Ryefield Bridge is a historic bridge connecting Ryefield Bridge Road in Harrison, Maine to West Andrew Hill Road in Otisfield, Maine, across the Crooked River. Built in 1912, it is one of the oldest surviving Warren truss bridges in the state, and is a rare example with double-intersection diagonals, added for increased rigidity. The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.
