Bethlehem Church, also known as Bethlehem United Church of Christ, is a historic United Church of Christ church located at Broadway, Rockingham County, Virginia. It was built in 1844–1845, and is a small, one-story, gable-roofed limestone structure. It measures 42 feet, 6 inches, by 32 feet, 6 inches. The original vaulted ceiling and gable roof were destroyed during the American Civil War. The present gable roof was built in 1914. It was used as the primary church until a new church was constructed in 1952.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Endless Caverns is a commercial show cave located three miles (4.8 km) south of New Market, Virginia, United States. The cavern is located in the pet-friendly, Endless Caverns Resort, featuring RV sites, vacation rental cottages and a number of amenities, including an outdoor pool, playground, hiking trails, catch-and-release fishing pond, mining sluice, and more.

The David and Catherine Driver Farm is a historic farmstead in rural Rockingham County, Virginia, near Timberville. The main house, a 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure, was built c. 1845 and has Greek Revival styling. It was extended in the 1880s, giving it a T-shape and adding Victorian details such as bull's eye window in the front gable. The farm's most notable building is a c. 1839 barn, a rare survivor of the Valley Campaigns of 1864 through the area, in which the Union Army under General Philip Sheridan destroyed most barns.The farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

Smith Creek (also known as Smith's Creek) is a 35.5-mile-long (57.1 km) tributary stream of the North Fork of the Shenandoah River in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Its watershed comprises 106 square miles (270 km2) within Shenandoah and Rockingham counties on the western slope of the Massanutten Mountain ridge. Its headwaters lie in Rockingham County just north of Harrisonburg, and its confluence with the North Fork of the Shenandoah River is located just south of Mount Jackson.Smith Creek's major tributaries include: Mountain Run, which runs from the west slope of the Massanutten Mountain Fridley Run, a tributary of Mountain Run Dry Fork, which rises just east of Harrisonburg, joining Smith Creek just before Lacey Spring Lacey Spring Branch, a short branch which runs from the limestone springs at Lacey Spring War Branch, which rises at the base of the Massanutten Mountain southwest of the community of Athlone and continues past the community of Arkton before joining Smith Creek near Moores Mill Road Gap Branch, which rises at the base of the Massanutten near New Market Gap and joins Smith Creak just prior to the North Fork of the Shenandoah River.

Plains Mill is a historic mill complex at 14767 Plains Mill Road near the town of Timberville in rural Rockingham County, Virginia, USA. The mill building is a two-story wood-frame construction, built between 1847 and 1849, on the banks of the North Fork Shenandoah River, where a stream falls over the bank into the river, providing the mill's power. The building has been sheathed in metal siding, although its original weatherboard siding remains underneath. A set of grain bins were added to the south side of the building in 1923, and a two-story wing was added to the north after World War II. The mill was in continuous use from its construction until 1994, encapsulating the evolutionary history of mill development in that time.The mill and a c. 1959 office building were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

Mauzy is an unincorporated community located in Rockingham County, in the U.S. state of Virginia. It is located south of Timberville, just north of Lacey Spring along Route 259, just off Interstate 81.

Shenandoah Valley Academy (SVA) is a private, co-educational, boarding, high school in New Market, Virginia, United States. It has both boarding and day school programs serving approximately 250 students in grades 9 through 12. The campus is located in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, approximately 90 minutes west of Washington, DC. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the Accrediting Association of Seventh-day Adventist Schools. It is a member of the Virginia Council for Private Education. The school was founded in 1908, with its first students enrolling that fall and graduated its first senior class in the spring of 1911.

New Market is a town in Shenandoah County, Virginia, United States. Founded as a small crossroads trading town in the Shenandoah Valley, it has a population of 2,146 as of the most recent 2010 U.S. census. The north–south U.S. 11 and the east–west U.S. 211 pass near it and cross Massanutten Mountain at the town's titular gap. It is home to the New Market Shockers of the Rockingham County Baseball League, the New Market Rebels of the Valley Baseball League, the Schultz Theatre and School of Performing Arts, and the Shenvalee Golf Course. The town is known for having been the site in 1864 of the last major Confederate victory in the American Civil War.

Mayland is an unincorporated community located in Rockingham County, in the U.S. state of Virginia. It is located southeast of Broadway, along Route 259. Mayland used to have its own post office, but now the post office has been moved to Broadway. Broadway is near Harrisonburg, Harrisonburg is in the Shenandoah Valley.

Mount Clinton is an unincorporated community located in Rockingham County, in the U.S. state of Virginia. It is located northeast of Clover Hill. There are several Mennonite churches in the vicinity, one of which is located along the access road to the west. It is two miles north of Hinton.

New Market Historic District is a national historic district located at New Market, Shenandoah County, Virginia. The district encompasses 11 contributing buildings in the crossroads town of New Market. It includes a variety of commercial, residential, and institutional buildings dating primarily from 19th century. They are in a variety of popular architectural styles including Victorian, Federal, and Georgian. Notable buildings include the Henkel house (c. 1800), Lee-Jackson Hotel (c. 1810), Solon Henkel House (c. 1800), Salyard House, Rupp House, and Emmanuel Lutheran Church.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
