Toufic H. Kalil House

The Zimmerman House is a house museum in the North End neighborhood of Manchester, New Hampshire. Built in 1951, it is the first of two houses in New Hampshire designed by Frank Lloyd Wright (the other is the Toufic H. Kalil House, built in 1955 on the same street), and one of a modest number of Wright designs in the northeastern United States. The house was built for Dr. Isadore Zimmerman and his wife Lucille. The house is now owned by the Currier Museum of Art because of the Zimmermans' decision to donate the home to the public after their death. The museum provides tours of the building, which is the only legal access to the grounds. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The Sullivan House is a historic house at 1330 Union Street in Manchester, New Hampshire. Built in 1932–1933, it is an example of “Little House” architecture. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in July 2023.

Notre Dame College was a Roman Catholic college located in Manchester, New Hampshire, United States, and affiliated with the Sisters of Holy Cross of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. After more than 50 years of operation, it closed in May 2002, due to "difficult enrollment and financial issues."

Stark Park is a city park located on the north side of Manchester, New Hampshire. It is a 30-acre (12 ha) parcel of land between River Road and the Merrimack River, which was once part of the larger farm property of American Revolutionary War hero John Stark. It was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 2006, and the New Hampshire State Register of Historic Places in 2010.

Major-General John Stark (August 28, 1728 – May 8, 1822) was an American military officer who served during the French and Indian War and the Revolutionary War. He became known as the "Hero of Bennington" for his exemplary service at the Battle of Bennington in 1777.

The Gen. John Stark House is a historic house museum at 2000 Elm Street in Manchester, New Hampshire. The house, a single-story Cape style farmhouse, was built in 1736 by Archibald Stark. Stark's son John, a hero of the American Revolutionary War, lived in this house from 1736 to 1765; it is where he brought his new bride Molly, and where two of their children were born. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. It is now operated as a museum by the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

The William Parker Straw House is a historic house at 282 North River Road in Manchester, New Hampshire. It was built in 1923 for William Parker Straw, a leading executive of the Amoskeag Manufacturing Company and president of the Amoskeag Bank, and is the city's finest example of Tudor Revival architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

Black Brook is an 11.4-mile-long (18.3 km) stream located in southern New Hampshire in the United States. It is a tributary of the Merrimack River, which flows to the Gulf of Maine. Black Brook begins at the outlet of Kimball Pond in Dunbarton, New Hampshire. The brook travels southeast into Goffstown and then Manchester, joining the Merrimack just upstream from Amoskeag Falls.

WGIR (610 kHz "News Radio 610") is a commercial AM radio station in Manchester, New Hampshire with a news/talk radio format. The station is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc. WGIR's studios and offices are on Foundry Street in Manchester. Much of the programming and news, but not the commercials, can be heard on co-owned WQSO 96.7 MHz in Rochester, serving the New Hampshire Seacoast. The transmitter is on Stark Lane in Manchester, near Interstate 293 Exit 7. WGIR is powered at 5,000 watts by day. But to avoid interfering with other stations on AM 610, it reduces power at night to 1,000 watts. It uses a directional antenna at all times.

The Frank Pierce Carpenter House is a historic house at 1800 Elm Street on the north side of Manchester, New Hampshire. Built in 1891 for the president of the Amoskeag Paper Company, it is a fine local example of high-style Queen Anne architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994, and was home to the local chapter of the American Red Cross for approximately 71 years from the start of WWII. Today it is a privately owned office building protected by the Manchester Historic Association and known as the Carpenter Historic Building, LLC, which recently completed an award-winning historic renovation to the Carriage House onsite to bring back the stable and carriage entrance and former original living space for the caretaker now in use as office space. The building is a local point of interest to visitors of Manchester and part of the Manchester Historic Association's guided tours of Manchester historic homes and people. It is open to public viewing during working hours.
