Tony Gwynn Stadium is the home field of the San Diego State University Aztecs college baseball team. In addition, the San Diego Surf Dawgs of the independent Golden Baseball League used the park as their home field.

Peterson Gymnasium is a 3,668 seat multi-purpose arena in San Diego, California on the campus of San Diego State University. The gym opened in 1961. It was home to the San Diego State University Aztecs basketball teams until Cox Arena (now known as the Viejas Arena) opened in 1997. The facility is named after C.E. Peterson, who during his 37-year career at San Diego State University served as athletic director, football coach, track coach, basketball coach, Dean of Men and alumni executive secretary. Peterson Gym is currently the home of the San Diego State Aztecs women's volleyball team. In 1972–73, Peterson Gym was home of the American Basketball Association (ABA)'s San Diego Conquistadors. The Conquistadors were coached by Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame inductee and Boston Celtics great K.C. Jones. The team finished with a 30–54 record. Following the season, the team switched its home arena to the San Diego Sports Arena.The gym hosted the 1973 NCAA Men's Volleyball Tournament, where the San Diego State Aztecs men's volleyball team won the university's first (and to-date only) NCAA Division I National Championship in any sport. Today, Peterson Gym also contains multiple classrooms for lectures.

The facility also hosts SDSU's commencement ceremonies.

The Aztecs compete in NCAA Division I (FBS for football). The program's primary conference is the Mountain West Conference, though the men's soccer team competes in the Pac-12 Conference, women's water polo competes in the Golden Coast Conference, and women's lacrosse competes as an independent. The San Diego State University College of Arts & Letters provides liberal arts education at SDSU. Its programs in the humanities and social sciences are offered through nineteen academic departments and a number of interdisciplinary programs, each of which is designed to help students understand their role in society and to develop aesthetic sensibilities. With 300 permanent faculty and many associated lecturers, this is the largest of the seven colleges, and is responsible for over one-third of the instruction at SDSU. Because the college occupies an important role in general education, virtually all SDSU students take courses offered here.

The Fowler College of Business is one of seven academic colleges at San Diego State University (SDSU), located in San Diego, California, United States. On October 26, 2016 the university announced that the college was named the Fowler College of Business in honor of Ron Fowler, co-owner and executive chairman of the San Diego Padres, and his wife Alexis, who is a graduate of the college's Charles W.
