Velké Chvojno (until 1948 České Chvojno; German: Böhmisch Kahn, 1940–1945 Kahn über Bodenbach) is a municipality and village in Ústí nad Labem District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 900 inhabitants.

Jílové (until 1945 Jílové u Podmokel; German: Eulau) is a town in Děčín District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 5,000 inhabitants.

Chuderov (German: Groß Kaudern) is a municipality and village in Ústí nad Labem District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,200 inhabitants. Chuderov lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north of Ústí nad Labem and 73 km (45 mi) north of Prague.

The Elbe Sandstone Mountains, also called the Elbe Sandstone Highlands (German: Elbsandsteingebirge, pronounced [ɛlpˈz̥antʃtaɪnɡəˌbɪʁɡə]; Czech: Děčinská vrchovina, pronounced [ˈɟɛtʃɪnskaː ˈvr̩xovɪna]), are a mountain range straddling the border between the state of Saxony in southeastern Germany and the North Bohemian region of the Czech Republic, with about three-quarters of the area lying on the German side. In both countries, core parts of the mountain range have been declared a national park. The name derives from the sandstone which was carved by erosion. The river Elbe breaks through the mountain range in a steep and narrow valley. The Saxon Switzerland and Bohemian Switzerland national parks, known also as Saxon-Bohemian Switzerland, are located within the territory of Elbe Sandstone Mountains.

Ústí nad Labem District (Czech: okres Ústí nad Labem) is a district in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. Its capital is the city of Ústí nad Labem.

The Děčínský Sněžník (German: Hoher Schneeberg) is a mountain in the Czech Republic. At 723.5 m (2,374 ft) above sea level, it is the highest peak of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains.

Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem (Czech: Univerzita Jana Evangelisty Purkyně v Ústí nad Labem, abbreviated as UJEP) is a public university in Ústí nad Labem in the Czech Republic. The institution was established on 28 September 1991. It bears the name of famous Czech scientist Jan Evangelista Purkyně who was born in nearby Libochovice. About 8,500 students are studying at the university. UJEP has around 900 employees.

Zimní stadion Ústí nad Labem is an indoor sporting arena located in Ústí nad Labem, Czech Republic. The capacity of the arena is 6,500 people and was renovated in 2004. It is currently home to the HC Slovan Ústečtí Lvi ice hockey team.

Městský stadion is a multi-purpose stadium in Ústí nad Labem, Czech Republic. It is mainly used for football matches and is the home ground of FK Ústí nad Labem. The stadium had a capacity of 3,000 people (555 seated) before reconstruction. When Ústí were promoted to the Czech First League in 2010, it was ruled that the stadium did not meet the league criteria required by the football association. Therefore, FK Ústí nad Labem's 2010–11 Czech First League matches were played at Na Stínadlech. The ground was upgraded to be available the next season, although the club was subsequently relegated. The reconstructed stadium was reopened in 2014 with a capacity of 4,000 seats.

Telnice (German: Tellnitz) is a municipality and village in Ústí nad Labem District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 700 inhabitants. Telnice lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) north-west of Ústí nad Labem and 80 km (50 mi) north-west of Prague.

Ryjice (German: Reindlitz) is a municipality and village in Ústí nad Labem District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 200 inhabitants. Ryjice lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-east of Ústí nad Labem and 71 km (44 mi) north of Prague.

Ústí nad Labem Zoological Gardens is a zoo located on the edge of Krásné Březno, close to the centre of the city of Ústí nad Labem in the Czech Republic. The gardens cover an area of 26 ha (64 acres), and lets visitors view rare and endangered species of animals such as orangutans, Somali donkeys, rhinoceroses, and Malaysian sun bears. Open throughout the year, the gardens host regular displays—the training of sea lions, a parade of elephants through the gardens, flying display of birds of prey, rides on ponies, and a range of other activities. The zoo is a member of the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA), the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA), and the Union of Czech and Slovak Zoological Gardens (UCSZ). Both the upper gate (Dobětice) and the lower main gate (Krásné Březno) include ticket offices, but during the winter season the upper ticket office is closed.
