Anna Paulowna railway station

Hollands Kroon is a municipality located in the Northwest Netherlands. It was created on 1 January 2012, as a merger of four municipalities: Anna Paulowna, Niedorp, Wieringen, and Wieringermeer.

Oudesluis is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Schagen, and lies about 21 km south of Den Helder. The village was first mentioned around 1660 as Duycker Sluys. The current name means "old sluice". Oude (old) has been added after the Wieringerwaard was poldered to distinguish from Nieuwesluis. Oude Sluis was located on the former Zuiderzee until 1845.The former Dutch Reformed church was built in 1861, because the old church had been damaged in a storm in 1859. In 1982, the church was sold for ƒ to a foundation and is nowadays used for cultural activities.In 1867, a railway station opened on the Amsterdam to Den Helder railway line. It closed in 1949.

The Anna Paulownapolder (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɑnaː pəˈloːnaːˌpɔldər]) is a polder in the municipality of Hollands Kroon in the province of North Holland in the Netherlands. The area of the polder is 50 square kilometres and it forms an important horticulture area, with among other things flower bulb cultivation. The Anna Paulownapolder was from the 7th century to the 12th centuries, the habitat of both the Frisian and Gelderlandish emigrants. The latter lived in the area where now the places Westeinde and Gelderse Buurt are. Afterwards the area became uninhabitable because of several storms and floods. After impoldering of the Zijpe in the 16th century, other areas were drained slowly. In 1846, the Anna Paulownapolder was drained at last, with private money. The polder is named after the wife of King Willem II, Anna Pavlovna of Russia. The new polder was then under the municipality of Zijpe; on August 1, 1870, the polder became its own municipality, Anna Paulowna (since 2012 part of Hollands Kroon).

Wieringerwaard is a polder and a village in the municipality of Hollands Kroon in the Dutch province of North Holland. Wieringerwaard was formerly a separate municipality, until it merged with Barsingerhorn in 1970.

't Zand is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Schagen and lies about 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) south of Den Helder.

Zijpe (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈzɛipə] (listen)) is a former municipality in the Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. In 2013, Zijpe and Harenkarspel merged into Schagen.

Schagerbrug is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is part of the municipality of Schagen, and was the main town of the former municipality of Zijpe. It lies about 2 km northwest of the town of Schagen.

Schagen railway station serves the town of Schagen, Netherlands. The station opened on 20 December 1865 and is located on the Den Helder–Amsterdam railway. The train services are operated by Nederlandse Spoorwegen. The train station has 3 platforms. The line between Schagen and Den Helder is single track and between Schagen and Alkmaar double track. The track between Schagen and Heerhugowaard was also single track until 1995. In 2009 the station was modernised; some roofs were replaced and two new lifts were built.

Schagen (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈsxaːɣə(n)] (listen)) is a city and municipality in the northwestern Netherlands. It is located between Alkmaar and Den Helder, in the region of West Friesland and the province of North Holland. It received city rights in 1415. In 2013, Schagen merged with Zijpe and Harenkarspel. Together they have formed a new municipality, which is also called Schagen. The townhall is located in the main town of Schagen. Before the merger in 2013 the municipality of Schagen only consisted of the town of Schagen. In 2013 the municipality was extended with neighbouring municipalities. It had a population of 46,532 in 2021 and covers an area of 187.28 km2 (72.31 sq mi).

Nieuwesluis is a hamlet in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Hollands Kroon, and lies about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) southeast of Den Helder. Nieuwesluis is considered part of Wieringerwaard. It has place name signs.

Kreil is a hamlet in the Dutch province North Holland, it is located on the Westfriese Omringdijk (West-Frisian Circular Dyke) in the municipality Hollands Kroon. Before the formation of the Hollands Kroon municipality, half of the village was in the municipality of Anna Paulowna and the other half was in the municipality of Wieringermeer

Barsingerhorn (West Frisian: Barregórre) is a small city in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Hollands Kroon, and lies about 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) north of Heerhugowaard. It received city rights in 1415.
