The Weissfluh is a mountain of the Plessur Alps, located above Davos in the canton of Graubünden. It is part of a ski area and the summit is served by a cable car from the Weissfluhjoch.

The Chistenstein (2,473 m) is a mountain of the Plessur Alps, overlooking Küblis in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It lies just west of the Durannapass (2,117 m).

The Weissfluhjoch (2,693 m (8,835 ft)) is a summit southeast of the Weissfluh (2,843 m (9,327 ft)) situated in the Plessur Range in Graubünden, Switzerland. Since 1932, a funicular railway (the Parsennbahn) leads to its summit from Davos. On the Weissflujoch are located several laboratories of the Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research, a division of the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research (WSL).

The Schiahorn is a mountain of the Plessur Alps, overlooking Davos in the canton of Graubünden. The Schiahorn is located just east of the Strela Pass, where the summit normal route starts.

Parsenn is a ski area near Davos, Switzerland, offering 35 ski runs. The Parsenn area is the largest and most modern of Davos' five mountains. The recently updated Parsenn "red railway" funicular covers the difference of 1,100 metres (3,609 ft) up to the Weissfluhjoch ridge. One can also get from Klosters to Gotschna/Parsenn with a large cable car which runs from here run up to 17 kilometres (10.6 mi) into the Prättigau valley.

Langwies is a former municipality in the district of Plessur in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. On 1 January 2013 the former municipalities of Langwies, Calfreisen, Castiel, Lüen, Molinis, Peist and St. Peter-Pagig merged into the municipality of Arosa.

The Parsenn Funicular (German: Davos Parsenn Bahn, DPB) is a funicular railway in the resort of Davos in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. The line links the town of Davos with the Weissfluhjoch ridge and the Parsenn ski area.The funicular is composed of two separate and independent sections, with an interchange station between the two at Höhenweg. The lowest station (Davos DKB) lies at an elevation of 1,560 metres (5,120 ft) and the highest (Weissfluhjoch DKB) lies at an elevation of 2,665 metres (8,743 ft). The highest section is the highest open-air funicular in Switzerland and the second highest after the Metro Alpin. Considering both sections, which have a total length of 4,048 metres (13,281 ft), the line is also one of the longest in the country.The funicular is operated by Davos Klosters Bergbahnen AG.

Berghotel Schatzalp is a historic hotel built in the Art Nouveau style and listed Cultural Property of National Significance in Davos, eastern Switzerland. It is located above the western side of Davos at 1,860 metres (6,100 ft) above sea level on the historic path over the Strela Pass, and forms part of the Schatzalp skiing and recreational area, near the Rinerhorn. Schatzalp is accessed via the funicular Schatzalp-Bahn from the town of Davos below.A former hi-tech tuberculosis sanitorium, it opened as the hotel Berghotel Schatzalp in 1953. The hotel caters for global economic and political leaders during the World Economic Forum Annual Meetings in the third week of January, when it is described by The Telegraph as "the most fashionable place in town, or above it, for a private party."

Prättigau/Davos Region is one of the eleven administrative districts in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. It had an area of 973.65 square kilometers (375.93 sq mi) and a population of 26,089 (as of 31 December 2020).. It was created on 1 January 2017 as part of a reorganization of the Canton replacing the Prättigau/Davos District.

Prättigau/Davos District (German: Bezirk Prättigau/Davos, Romansh: ) is a former administrative district in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. It had an area of 823.95 km2 (318.13 sq mi) and has a population of 26,257 in 2015. It was replaced with the Prättigau/Davos Region on 1 January 2017 as part of a reorganization of the Canton.It consists of seven Kreise (sub-districts) and fifteen municipalities: The sub-districts Davos, Jenaz, Klosters, Küblis and Luzein belonged until 1986 to the defunct district Oberlandquart; the sub-districts Schiers and Seewis to the defunct district Unterlandquart.
