Pizzo delle Pecore

The Cima di Broglio is a mountain of the Swiss Lepontine Alps, located east of Cevio in the canton of Ticino. It lies south of Monte Zucchero, on the range between the Valle Maggia and the Valle Verzasca.

Monte Zucchero (Italian: [ˈmonte dˈdzukkero, - tˈtsuk-]; Ticinese: Zuccar [ˈtsykar]) is a mountain in the Lepontine Alps of Switzerland, located between Bignasco and Sonogno in the canton of Ticino. Reaching a height of 2,735 metres above sea level, Monte Zucchero is the highest summit on the range south of the Passo di Redorta, that separates the Valle Maggia from the Valle Verzasca.

The Rasiva is a mountain of the Swiss Lepontine Alps, located north-west of Brione in the canton of Ticino. It lies on the range east of Monte Zucchero, between the Val Redòrta and the Val d'Osura.

Giumaglio is a village and former municipality in the district of Vallemaggia in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland. It was first recorded in 1224 as Zumano. The municipality had 300 inhabitants in 1591, which decreased to 125 in 1761. It then increased, to 188 in 1801 and 413 in 1850, before declining again to 232 in 1900, 204 in 1950 and 167 in 1970. It then rose somewhat, to 202 in 2000 and 210 in 2003. The municipality had an area of 13.17 km². In 2004 the municipality was incorporated into the larger, neighboring municipality Maggia.

Coglio is a village and former municipality in the district of Vallemaggia in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland. It was first recorded in 1237 as Cono. The municipality had 100 inhabitants in 1591, which went up and down to 122 in 1719, 94 in 1801, 195 in 1850, 135 in 1900 and 73 in 1950. It then increased somewhat to 96 in 2000 and 99 in 2003. The municipality had an area of 9.55 km². In 2004 the municipality was incorporated into the larger, neighboring municipality Maggia.

The Poncione Piancascia is a mountain of the Swiss Lepontine Alps, overlooking Brione in the canton of Ticino. It lies between the Valle Maggia and the Valle Verzasca. The Poncione di Piancascia has an elevation of 2,360 metres and is the highest summit on the range south of Pizzo delle Pecore.

The Corona di Redorta is a mountain of the Swiss Lepontine Alps, located between Lavizzara and Sonogno in the canton of Ticino. Culminating at a height of 2,804 metres above sea level, the Corona di Redorta is the second highest summit of the Valle Verzasca, after Pizzo Barone.

Lodano is a village and former municipality in the district of Vallemaggia in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland. It was first recorded in 1224 as Lodino. The municipality had 70 inhabitants in 1709, which increased to 85 in 1801, 140 in 1850 and 141 in 1900. It then declined to 134 in 1950 and 86 in 1970, before rising again, to 171 in 2000 and 191 in 2003. The municipality had an area of 13.76 km². In 2004 the municipality was incorporated into the larger, neighboring municipality Maggia. Valle Maggia (Italian, "Maggia Valley") is an alpine valley in the Vallemaggia district of canton of Ticino, the Italian-spoken canton of Switzerland. The valley is formed by the river Maggia and is situated between the Centovalli and Lago Maggiore as well as the Valle Verzasca in the East.

The Poncione della Marcia is a mountain of the Swiss Lepontine Alps, overlooking Brione in the canton of Ticino. It lies at the eastern end the range east of Monte Zucchero, between the Val Redòrta and the Val d'Osura.

Moghegno is a village and former municipality in the district of Vallemaggia in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland. It was first recorded in 1335 as Mogeno. The municipality had 300 inhabitants in 1761, which decreased to 294 in 1801. It then went up and down to 392 in 1850, 264 in 1900 and 205 in 1950. It then increased steadily to 275 in 1990, 336 in 2000 and 376 in 2003. The municipality had an area of 6.96 km2. In 2004 the municipality was incorporated into the larger, neighboring municipality Maggia.

Aurigeno is a village and former municipality in the district of Vallemaggia in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland. It was first recorded in 1276 as Urigeno. The municipality had 398 inhabitants in 1709, which decreased to 302 in 1801, 297 in 1850, 219 in 1900, 214 in 1950 and 127 in 1970. It then rose again, to 316 in 1990 and 384 in 2003. The municipality had an area of 11.04 km². In 2004 the municipality was incorporated into the larger, neighboring municipality Maggia.
