Boulder City Historic District

Boulder City is a city in Clark County, Nevada, United States. It is approximately 26 miles (42 km) southeast of Las Vegas. As of the 2020 census, the population of Boulder City was 14,885. The city took its name from Boulder Canyon. Boulder City is one of only two places in Nevada that prohibits gambling, the other being the town of Panaca.

The Boulder Dam Hotel, also known as the Boulder City Inn, is a hotel located in Boulder City, Nevada that is listed on the United States National Register of Historic Places. It was designed in the Colonial Revival style by architect Henry Smith. The hotel was built to accommodate official visitors and tourists during the building of Boulder Dam, now Hoover Dam. The restored hotel is still operating with 22 rooms available.

Boulder City Hospital is an 82-bed facility including a 25-bed acute care/swing bed, a 47-bed long-term care facility and a 10-bed Geriatric Behavioral Medicine Center.

The Alan Bible Botanical Garden is a desert botanical garden located at the Alan Bible Visitor Center, Lake Mead National Recreation Area, 601 Nevada Highway, Boulder City, Nevada, United States. The garden is named in honor of Senator Alan Bible (1909-1988). The garden is mostly cactus, but also displays some of the area's desert trees and shrubs, and identifies plant communities found throughout the recreation area.

The Nevada Southern Railroad Museum (Nevada Southern Railway Museum) is a railroad museum in Boulder City, Nevada operated by the Nevada State Railroad Museum which is an agency of the Nevada Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs. The railway is located on the tracks that were installed to support construction activities at the Hoover Dam. The state obtained the tracks and right of way from the Union Pacific Railroad in 1985.

Bootleg Canyon Mountain Bike Park is an internationally renowned venue located in Bootleg Canyon within the northern section of Boulder City, Nevada, in the desert near Lake Mead and Hoover Dam. Consisting of a variety of different types of trails including cross-country (XC) and downhill (DH), the park was created by artist and cycling enthusiast Brent Thomson. International Mountain Bicycling Association has designated Bootleg Canyon as an "Epic ride".

Grand Canyon West is a census-designated place (CDP) in Mohave County, Arizona, United States, located on the Hualapai Reservation. The population was two at the 2010 census. Grand Canyon West is home to the tribe's Grand Canyon business operations, including the Grand Canyon West Airport and the Grand Canyon Skywalk. Typically, they are open from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., including all holidays.

Jimbilnan Wilderness is an 18,879 acre (7,640 ha) wilderness area that starts from the northeast side of the Black Mountains and extends eastward towards Lake Mead. On its west side lies Pinto Valley Wilderness Park, and Las Vegas can be found 40 miles (64 km) west from the area. Jimbilnan Wilderness was designated as a wilderness area in 2002 and is under the management of the National Park Service.

The Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery is located in Boulder City, Clark County, Nevada. Established in 1990, the 79-acre cemetery is approximately 30 miles southeast of Las Vegas, Nevada. This is one of two state operated Veterans Cemeteries, the other is the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery 437 miles away in Fernley, Nevada. The cemetery was constructed to serve Military Veterans and their families. The nearest Veterans Memorial Cemetery to Boulder City Nevada is the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside California, about 245 miles from the Las Vegas Valley.As of December 2014, 42,964 veterans and family members (spouses) are interred at one of the two Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemeteries located in either Fernley or Boulder City, Nevada. The cemeteries at both locations were built and expanded using grants awarded by the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Each state is responsible for operating each of their Veterans Cemeteries after the VA assists with the construction. The State of Nevada provides staff and operating costs to oversee the facility and is supported by a VA.

Boulder City Municipal Airport (IATA: BLD, ICAO: KBVU, FAA LID: BVU, formerly 61B) is a public use airport located one nautical mile (2 km) southwest of the central business district of Boulder City, in Clark County, Nevada, United States. It is owned by Boulder City Municipality.As per the Federal Aviation Administration, this airport had 300,553 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2008, 194,838 in 2009, and 169,923 in 2010. The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015 categorized it as a primary commercial service airport.Although many U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, Boulder City Municipal Airport is assigned BVU by the FAA and BLD by the IATA (which assigned BVU to Beluga Airport in Beluga, Alaska).
