The Stožice Arena (Slovene: Arena Stožice) is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Ljubljana, Slovenia. It was designed by Slovenian Sadar + Vuga architects and is the biggest indoor arena in the country. It lies in the Bežigrad district, north of the city centre. The arena is part of the Stožice Sports Park sports complex. The arena is the home ground of basketball club KK Cedevita Olimpija.

The School of Economics and Business (SEB LU) (Slovene: Ekonomska fakulteta, EF) in Ljubljana is part of the University of Ljubljana and was founded in 1946. It was one of the first faculties in the country to establish new internationally comparable Bologna 3+2 programs in 2005. In 2006 it was awarded EQUIS accreditation. In 2010 the school received business accreditation from AACSB International. Six years later, the school also received AMBA accreditation. With the addition of the AMBA accreditation, the school became one of 77 business schools in the world to hold the Triple Crown accreditation.

Stožice (pronounced [ˈstɔːʒitsɛ] or [ˈstoːʒitsɛ]; German: Stoschze) is a formerly independent settlement in the northern part of the capital Ljubljana in central Slovenia. It is part of the traditional region of Upper Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.

Mala Vas (pronounced [ˈmaːla ˈʋaːs]; Slovene: Mala vas, German: Malawaß), last officially named Mala Vas na Posavju during its existence as an independent settlement, is a locality in the northern part of the capital Ljubljana in central Slovenia. It is part of the traditional region of Upper Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.

Stožice Sports Park (Slovene: Športni park Stožice) is a multi-use sports complex in Ljubljana, Slovenia, that hosts basketball and football departments of sports club Olimpija Ljubljana. The sports park is located in Bežigrad District, north of the city centre and next to the highway bypass.

Stožice Stadium (Slovene: Stadion Stožice) is a multi-purpose stadium located in Ljubljana, Slovenia. It was designed by Slovenian Sadar + Vuga architects and is the biggest football stadium in the country. It is one of two main stadiums in the city and lies in the Bežigrad district, north of the city centre. The stadium is part of the Stožice Sports Park sports complex. The stadium is the home ground of the football club Olimpija Ljubljana and is the main venue of the Slovenia national football team. In addition to football, the stadium is also intended for cultural events.

Nogometni klub Olimpija Ljubljana (Slovene pronunciation: [nɔɡɔˈméːtni ˈklúːp ɔˈlìːmpija ljubˈljàːna]; English: Olimpija Ljubljana Football Club), commonly referred to as Olimpija Ljubljana or simply Olimpija, is a professional football club, based in the city of Ljubljana, Slovenia. The club competes in the Slovenian PrvaLiga, the country's highest football division. Founded on 2 March 2005, under the name NK Bežigrad, Olimpija began competing in the Slovenian fifth division during the 2005–06 season and managed to achieve promotion in four successive seasons, reaching the top division for the first time in 2009 after winning the 2008–09 Slovenian Second League. After seven years in the top division, Olimpija won their first major trophy when they were crowned champions in the 2015–16 season. They won another league title in the 2017–18 season; the same season, Olimpija also won the national cup, completing their first double. Initially, the club played at the Bežigrad Stadium and the ŽAK Stadium during the club's stay in the second division and during the first year in the top division. In 2010, they moved to the Stožice Stadium with a capacity of 16,038. Olimpija's nicknames are the "Green and Whites" (Slovene: Zeleno-beli), referring to their primary colours, and "The Dragons" (Slovene: Zmaji), referring to the dragon which is a symbol of Ljubljana and is represented on the city's coat of arms and on the club's crest.

The Geological Survey of Slovenia (Slovene: Geološki zavod Slovenije, abbreviated GeoZS) is the primary geological research institute of Slovenia. It was founded on May 7, 1946.

Ljubljana Hippodrome (Slovene: Hipodrom Ljubljana) or Stožice Hippodrome (Slovene: Hipodrom Stožice), a horse racecourse stadium in the capital of Slovenia, is the main sport venue of this kind in the country. It is only 3 kilometres north from the center of Ljubljana. It was built in 1957. It is the seat of 'Horse Club Ljubljana'.

Danila Kumar International School is a public school in Slovenia that caters to students from over 40 nationalities, ranging from 3 to 15 years of age. It was established in 1993, and it has been an International Baccalaureate school since March 2, 1994. The school is named after the communist political commissar Danila Kumar (1921–1944).

The Slovenian Environment Agency (Slovenian: Agencija Republike Slovenije za okolje or ARSO) is the main organisation for environment of the Republic of Slovenia. It was established in 2001 with a reorganisation of the Hydrometeorological Institute of Slovenia. Since 2012, it is part of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Environment; before, it was part of the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning. As of May 2012, its director general is Silvo Žlebir. The Bežigrad District (Slovene: Četrtna skupnost Bežigrad), or simply Bežigrad (pronunciation ), is a district (mestna četrt) of the City Municipality of Ljubljana. It encompasses the northern part of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, between the southern rail line to the south, the Upper Carniola (or Kamnik) rail line to the west, the highway loop to the north, and Šmartno Street (Šmartinska cesta) and Žale Cemetery to the east. It extends on both sides of Vienna Street (Dunajska cesta), which is its central axis and main traffic artery. In the narrow sense, it includes the neighborhoods of Bežigrad, Brinje, Nove Stožice ('New Stožice', also known also as BS3), and Sava Development (Savsko naselje). In the broader sense, Bežigrad is sometimes considered to include the northern Ljubljana suburbs of Stožice, Ježica, and the Črnuče District. Bežigrad is primarily a residential district. Along Vienna Street there are some sections with high concentrations of shops and businesses. There is a small industrial zone in the northwest part of the district. Its buildings are generally low (up to six floors), and single-family dwellings and raw houses predominate. Larger communities of apartment buildings are concentrated on the district's eastern edge, in Nove Stožice and the Sava Development. Important institutions and features of Bežigrad include the Slovenian Environmental Agency, the Stožice Sports Park and the Stožice Stadium, the Bežigrad Central Stadium designed by Jože Plečnik, the Bežigrad Secondary School, Navje Cemetery, Plečnik's unfinished Academic Collegium (intended to serve as the Baraga Seminary), Žale Cemetery, and the Ljubljana Fairgrounds. The older part of Bežigrad has many large houses from the interwar period. Savings Bank Street (Hranilniška ulica) stands out in particular. It is the oldest street in Bežigrad, created in the 1880s. There is also the Islamic Religious and Cultural Center, the first mosque in Slovenia, known as the Ljubljana Mosque, completed in February 2020.
